Startled, Qiqige moved too quickly, and the horse beneath her neighed. Despite pulling hard on the reins, she still fell off the horse and rolled over.
He Yue, riding on horseback, looked down at her with a smile that remained unchanged: "It's best to know your place. If you offend me, be prepared for the consequences. I'm not someone to be trifled with. This is just a piece of advice for you."
Still shaken, Qiqige stood up, her face ashen, furious as she recalled how she had nearly been killed by the enemy's arrows: "You bitch! Don't be so arrogant! I, Abu, will not let you get away with this!"
He Yue covered her mouth and chuckled, "You only come to me when you get into trouble, Abu. That's all you're capable of. Even if you did, so what? I'm the Emperor's daughter-in-law. Would Abu offend His Majesty the Emperor for your sake?"
"You!" Qiqige was so angry that she jumped up and down, unable to say a word.
"Heh, next time you commit a crime, remember to be more discreet. Don't let anyone catch you red-handed. Then even Abu won't be able to save you. I'm not going to keep you company!" He Yue's gaze was cold as she turned and left.
