Chapter 106 Giving You a Chance to Fight Back

Chapter 106 Giving You a Chance to Fight Back

The third class in the afternoon.

Qin Yu was detained in the political education department. Zhou Liang's mother came to the school half an hour ago. After seeing her son being beaten, she scolded Qin Yu for a long time. She said she wanted an explanation but did not give Qin Yu a chance to speak. Qin Yu was too lazy to say anything. His biggest headache now was how to face Gu Chengye later.

When the woman greeted Qin Yu's parents for the fifth time, Gu Chengye arrived at the Political and Educational Department. There were many people present, but he saw Qin Yu standing in the corner at a glance, and the boy standing with Qin Yu had several obvious injuries on his face from being beaten.

"Teacher." Gu Chengye withdrew his gaze from Qin Yu and greeted Lao Yang in a calm voice.

"Qin Yu just beat up his classmate." Old Yang said, "The other party's parents demanded an explanation."

Zhou Liang's mother thought she would meet Qin Yu's father or mother, but she didn't expect the other person to be so young: "Who are you?"

"I'm his brother." Gu Chengye glanced at the woman calmly, and finally stopped his gaze on Zhou Liang, "Why did he hit you?"

"What do you mean by that?" Zhou Liang's mother said sharply, "You should ask your brother why he beat my son."

Qin Yu was in the worst mood and remained silent. Gu Chengye only glanced at him at the beginning and now acted as if he didn't exist.

"He never hits anyone. Maybe your son said something he shouldn't have said." Gu Chengye replied calmly.

"What can you say?" Zhou Liang's mother said, but she still turned around and asked Zhou Liang symbolically, "What did you say?"

"I said his mother was a mistress and his father was a murderer." Zhou Liang saw Gu Chengye and did not intend to hide it. "It's just the truth."

As Zhou Liang expected, Gu Chengye's face changed immediately when he said this, because the family Qin Yu's mother was involved in was Gu Chengye's family.

However, unlike what Zhou Liang had imagined, Gu Chengye did not show much anger, and he did not even turn his head to look at Qin Yu. If his face had not been a little colder, he would have mistakenly thought that Gu Chengye did not hear what he said.

"It is indeed wrong to hit someone just because of a sentence. Just tell me if you need any compensation." Gu Chengye said coldly.

Zhou Liang's mother didn't expect Qin Yu's family to be so unbearable, and she looked down on Qin Yu even more: "Have you ever heard of a tooth for a tooth? He just stands there and lets my son fight back."

Such a crude way of revenge made Director Chen and Lao Yang's faces stiffen. Lao Yang was about to stop Gu Chengye but interrupted him and said, "Okay, Qin Yu, stand there and let him hit you."

Qin Yu clenched his fists, not only because of Gu Chengye, but also because of Zhou Liang's words.

Twelve years ago, it was Gu Chengye’s father who deceived his mother and did not get married. If his mother knew that Gu Chengye’s father already had a family, she would never have intervened and become the third party!

However, no one knew all this because it was a fact that his mother had become a mistress.

Zhou Liang's mother didn't expect Gu Chengye to give in so easily, but she didn't think much about it: "Zhou Liang, I'll give you a chance to fight back, don't be so unpromising."

Standing next to Zhou Liang was Qin Yu. He stared at Qin Yu closely, looking at that enviable face: "If you apologize to me, I won't hit you."

Qin Yu sneered, his voice deep, as if squeezed out from the depths of his lungs, word by word: "I regret that I didn't hit him lightly just now."

Zhou Liang's face turned pale and blue as he accepted the gazes of the people around him. Thinking that he could personally shatter Qin Yu's pride that came from nowhere, he felt a strange sense of sadism in his heart, and he raised his hand and slapped Qin Yu in the face.

Qin Yu turned his head away and endured the shameful slap, but he endured it as he was about to graduate and had to take the postgraduate entrance examination.

"That's enough." Old Yang couldn't bear to watch it any longer. "Zhou Liang said such outrageous things. Let's just let it go."

However, Zhou Liang's mother was not satisfied: "My son was just telling the truth. How can you just slap him when his face was disfigured? It's true that children are like their parents."

Zhou Liang looked at Qin Yu's cold face in front of him.

He had to admit that Qin Yu's temperament was as attractive as his handsome face, which made him appear distant and indifferent even in such a miserable situation, as if his eyes could not hold anything.

Jealousy rushed into his mind. Zhou Liang raised his hand again and slapped Qin Yu hard on the face, whispering: "Even if you can play games, so what? Can playing games make a living? You are destined to fail like your parents in this life."

Qin Yu couldn't help but frown because of the pain from Zhou Liang's relentless slap. He simply ignored Zhou Liang's words: "Have you had enough? I still have to go back to class."

Qin Yu's disregard angered Zhou Liang, who wanted to hit Lao Yang again but he stood in front of Qin Yu.

"You go back to class first." Old Yang turned to Qin Yu and said, "I'll take care of the rest."

Qin Yu raised his eyes to look at Lao Yang, hesitated for a while and nodded: "Okay."

It was pointless for him to stand there and let Zhou Liang beat him, because Zhou Liang just wanted to get a sense of superiority from him. It would be better for him to go back to the classroom first, since Zhou Liang had already finished beating him anyway, and he really didn't want to be in the same room with Gu Chengye.

It was almost time to go home when Qin Yu arrived at the classroom. Through the window, he could see Jiang Fengyan doing exercises with his head down. It was just like usual, but Qin Yu inexplicably felt that Jiang Fengyan looked a little lonely.

Qin Yu stopped and did not return to the classroom immediately. He turned back to the store and bought a small bag of masks. He took out one and put it on, then put the rest in his pocket before walking back to the classroom: "Report."

When the supervisor saw that it was Qin Yu, he said, "Come in."

Qin Yu then entered the classroom and placed the mineral water on Jiang Fengyan's desk: "I encountered something and was delayed."

Jiang Fengyan put down his pen, his expression very cold and heavy, staring at Qin Yu, but he could only see Qin Yu's eyes: "Someone in the class just now said that you hit someone."

It was a very common remark. If it was in the past, he would not have cared at all, but now he inexplicably felt uncomfortable: "Hmm."

"Is it serious?" Jiang Fengyan continued to ask.

"I got punched twice, and there are bruises. It will take a while to heal after applying medicine." Qin Yu spread out the test paper on the table and looked at the notes he had taken when Jiang Fengyan was explaining the questions in the first class. He said casually, "Are you afraid of fighting?"

Jiang Fengyan looked at Qin Yu silently. He wanted to ask Qin Yu the details, whether Qin Yu was injured, and why Qin Yu suddenly wore a mask. However, he could feel that Qin Yu was in a bad mood at the moment. He took back his words and turned back to continue the exercise just now: "I was fired because I hit someone."

Qin Yu paused for a moment while picking up the pen. In his impression, even if Jiang Fengyan was angry, he would at most just ignore him. He vaguely recalled that Jiang Fengyan had told him the reason why he beat someone in Beicheng.

"Did you hit someone because your classmates saw the letter you wrote?" Qin Yu didn't think it was a big deal when he heard Jiang Fengyan talk about this matter at that time, but now he feels that the meaning has become complicated.

"Yeah." Jiang Fengyan replied, "He and I didn't get along, and he rummaged through my things. I couldn't help it and hit him."

The conversation should have ended here. Qin Yu never liked to pry into other people's private affairs, but for some reason he blurted out, "What letter?"
