Chapter 99: It's Too Fast
[Jiang: I’ll take a leave this afternoon and come to the club to see you. ］

Jiang Fengyan looked at the chat history between him and Qin Yu on his phone that morning, bought a small cake at the cake shop, and replied to Qin Yu.

Soon Jiang Fengyan arrived at the door of Qin Yu's rental house and raised his hand to knock. Qin Yu was already waiting at the door of the room when Jiang Fengyan sent him a message, so he opened the door as soon as the knock sounded.
Jiang Fengyan was still holding a cake in his hand and saw that Qin Yu was in a much better mood: "Today is your birthday, I brought a cake."
Qin Yu looked at the cake in Jiang Fengyan's hand and was stunned for a moment: "Time is so tight now, why would I ask for leave for you?"
“The homeroom teacher is the English teacher.”
Jiang Fengyan entered the house, Qin Yu closed the door, and Jiang Fengyan placed the cake on the table in the living room and continued, "I got full marks in the last English competition, so she won't care what I do in class. Besides, my English won't be too bad even if I don't listen."
Qin Yu knew that Jiang Fengyan had such ability, so there would be no problem even if Jiang Fengyan went directly to take the postgraduate entrance examination now.
"Do you want some milk?" Qin Yu wanted to make milk for Jiang Fengyan as usual.
"No." Jiang Fengyan was not interested in this. In the slightly closed rented house, all he could think about was Qin Yu.
Qin Yu pretended not to understand, sat on the sofa calmly, and looked at the small cake on the table: "Is this for one person or two people?"
Jiang Fengyan looked at Qin Yu suspiciously, not sure if he really couldn't understand, and said stiffly: "One serving."
Qin Yu held back his laughter, but showed no emotion in front of him: "Can I eat now?"
Jiang Fengyan's expression became more complicated. Although the cake was only the size of a palm, it would take a long time to finish it. What's more, it's already 2:30 in the afternoon and we have to have dinner later, so we don't have much time.
Even so, Jiang Fengyan couldn't say anything to stop Qin Yu from eating the cake: "Okay."
Qin Yu raised his eyebrows, casually opened the lid of the cake, picked up the fork and started eating the cake.
Qin Yu has long fingers with distinct joints, and just the fork holding the cake is a pleasing sight to the eyes. Jiang Fengyan watched for a while and his heart slowly calmed down. He was no longer as anxious as before.
However, Qin Yu and Jiang Fengyan had the opposite idea. He deliberately chose to eat the cake first, which activated the most sensitive nerve in his brain, making it impossible for him to continue eating the cake as if nothing had happened.
"I bought some practice." Qin Yu raised his head and said to Jiang Fengyan.
Jiang Fengyan couldn't get enough of Qin Yu's hands, and the reason wasn't just because Qin Yu's hands were beautiful.
"Finish the cake first." Jiang Fengyan's eyes were still on Qin Yu's fingers.
How could Qin Yu possibly stand being stared at by Jiang Fengyan like that? He put down his fork, covered the cake box, and stood up: "We finally got some free time. Are you sure?"
This action made Qin Yu laugh softly.
Jiang Fengyan, who usually has a quick thinker, listened to Qin Yu's words blankly as if his brain was rusty.
Jiang Fengyan didn't like Qin Yu's words, and said seriously: "I am your friend."
For a moment, Qin Yu's expression was beyond description.
If anyone else refuted him, he would respond seriously or jokingly, but he couldn't say anything when facing Jiang Fengyan, because Jiang Fengyan was talking to him in the most genuine and passionate way.
