Chapter 194: Stunning Skills

Chapter 194: Stunning Skills

"Please be quiet for a moment. Let me introduce you to this beautiful lady. She is here for the assessment. I hope you can cooperate with her." Mike said in a low voice.

The boys in the activity room looked at Mi Xia excitedly. Mi Xia was also surprised that there was not even a single girl in this food club.

But Mi Xia hadn't passed the assessment yet, so she didn't ask anything. "Hello, Mr. You. I'm from China. My name is Mi Xia. Nice to meet you."

"Nice to meet you, beautiful girl from China. I look forward to your performance and hope you can become one of our members."

"Thank you." Mi Xia replied politely, and then started preparing the ingredients.

When the people in the activity room saw Mi Xia starting to prepare, they all gathered around her and said, "Can you guys stay a little further away? That way I can make food more easily."

Originally, Mike also wanted to go over to take a look, but they were moving too fast and in a blink of an eye there was no space around Mi Xia.

"Classmate Mi has already told you not to hang around her." Mike said with a look of disgust, and then he found a place to sit down.

Seeing this, the others came over and sat down. "Mike, this Chinese girl is so pretty, but do you know how good her cooking skills are?"

"Yeah, Mike, I think this girl's craftsmanship should be good, but she's pretty. Even if she's good, we have to keep her."

"Yes, this Chinese girl is so beautiful. It would be even better if her craftsmanship was good."

"You foodies just love to eat, but if you are asked to cook, your cooking skills are worse than the other." Mike said with disgust.

"There's nothing we can do. We're all men, and how many of us can cook? Did we set up this club just to recruit people who can cook?"

"Who knew that Alan would get drunk and tell everyone that everyone in our club is a foodie and no one can cook!" John said with a look of disappointment on his face.

Alan lowered his head embarrassedly. (Alan, the one who just vomited after eating the food he made.) He also felt guilty, so he learned to cook to make it up to his family.

"Okay, let's not talk about Alan. He did it on purpose. He just has a bad drinking habit. He starts talking nonsense when he's drunk." Mike said seriously.

But Alan always felt something was odd? Is Mike speaking for him?

Mi Xia looked at this group of people gathered together, heads touching each other, and she found it very funny that a group of men could gather together and whisper to each other.

But it was fine. Now there was another problem, that is, Zhang Susu was still by her side. "Susu, are you going to cook?"

"But I only know Chinese food. I can't cook the food here." Zhang Susu said embarrassedly. Although she often cooks at home, this is not at home.

"Then you should just cook Chinese food and let them see our 5,000-year-old food culture heritage." Mi Xia said with a concerned look on her face.

"Is this okay?" Zhang Susu looked at me, Mi Xia, with hope on her face.

"Of course, there is no rule in the food club that we must cook food from the United States." Mi Xia said affirmatively.

"Well, then I want to participate too." Zhang Susu said happily, and then she prepared the dishes next to Mi Xia.

Now Mi Xia can cook with peace of mind, and can also use the spiritual spring when they are not paying attention. She is determined to make everyone at this event fall in love with Chinese food.

Mi Xia was happy when she thought of this. She first made twice-cooked pork and then sweet and sour pork. There were also many Chinese dishes here.

Maybe it was because some foreign students from China were coming.

On the other side, Zhang Susu was also using her expertise to pick, wash, cut and cook vegetables all in one go, and Mi Xia also quickened her pace.

The classmates surrounding Mike on the other side sniffed deeply at the aroma.

"Mike, these two beauties are amazing. The smell makes me want to go over and have a taste." Alan said while sniffing.

"Yes, yes, this smells so good, who can stand it?"

"They seem to be cooking Chinese food, right? Is Chinese food so delicious?"

"Really? I've been to a restaurant opened by a Chinese before, and it didn't smell this good." John looked at Mi Xia and Zhang Susu with belief.

"It seems to be true. They are really making Chinese food. God, is Chinese food really so magical?"

"I can't wait to taste it now. I've never smelled anything so delicious in my life." Alan looked at them eagerly.

Although Mike didn't say anything, the expression on his face betrayed him.

After waiting for about a few minutes, Mi Xia finally stopped. She looked at Zhang Susu, and she was also about to fly away.

Mi Xia waited until Zhang Susu stopped before she prepared to bring the dishes to the table. Mike, Alan and John saw this and rushed over.

"Let me do it, let's do it." They said collectively, and Mi Xia and Zhang Susu were amused and laughed non-stop.

"Okay, then come on." Mi Xia was also polite. Since they wanted to help, she was happy to have some free time.

More means faster. It only took them two minutes to arrange the dishes, and Alan quickly picked up the knife and fork and started to eat.

"This is our Chinese cuisine. You can use Western tableware." Mi Xia said softly.

"Oh, I know. Do I need to use chopsticks?" John said.

"Yes, we all use chopsticks when cooking Chinese cuisine." Mi Xia said with a smile, and then took out a pair of chopsticks, "This is it."

Mi Xia had already thought about it when she was cooking. How could she let them use Western tableware when eating Chinese food? So she found something and made a few pairs.

"I know how to use this." John said excitedly, and then took a pair from Mi Xia.

Then John clumsily picked up the food with chopsticks. He failed to hold the food firmly several times and dropped it. Finally, when he was about to give up, he succeeded.

The others looked at John with envy. They wanted to eat, too, but it seemed that Mi Xia would only let them eat if they used chopsticks.

After seeing John finish the food successfully, they also became anxious and asked Mi Xia for chopsticks one after another, picking up the food from everyone.

Since John succeeded in picking up the food, his success rate has increased. Alan should have picked up the food and looked at John anxiously, "John, don't just eat it yourself, teach us."

John ignored Alan and kept eating. Seeing this, everyone became more anxious and they all wanted to use spoons directly.

So everyone turned to look at Mi Xia at the same time, and Mi Xia gently shook her head at them. It was not easy to cook, so they could only clumsily imitate John.
