Chapter 6: Can a poor student endorse a book? (2 / 2)

The Chinese teacher raised the frame of his black glasses and said, "Student Jiang Zhiyu, please come to the podium and recite."

The students understood what the teacher meant. They realized that the teacher probably thought Jiang Zhiyu was cooking something.

So Jiang Zhiyu went on stage and recited the Ode to Afang Palace again in a loud and confident voice.

Seeing the Chinese teacher's jaw drop, Jiang Zhiyu added, "Teacher, you can test me any way you want."

"Just test her on the full translation!"

The male students in the audience shouted in astonishment.

The Chinese teacher nodded and motioned for her to recite.

"I don't know how to do it. The teacher said that if I could just recite the whole text, I would be exempt from the penalty of copying. But they added a translation test to my test."

Jiang Zhiyu actually knew how to do it, but as a poor student, it was already a very novel thing for her to recite the text in one day. If she recited the translation as well, wouldn't that make her teachers and classmates even more suspicious?

"Well, Jiang has done very well, so let him pass." The Chinese teacher stared fiercely at those students who studied slightly better than Jiang Zhiyu but could not recite the text, and was so angry that he could not stop.

"Thank you, teacher. I will try to memorize the translation as well!" Jiang Zhiyu quickly added, "How could he miss the opportunity to establish a good image in front of the teacher?"

Although Jiang Zhiyu had been a poor student before, her good performance today improved her impression a little in the Chinese teacher's mind.

But it's only a small thing. After all, her studies in the previous two years are there. Who knows if she won't be pretending after her parents are called there today!

When he came down from the podium, Lin Yeci folded his hands and secretly gave Jiang Zhiyu a thumbs up.

Jiang Zhiyu saw it, but quickly looked away, pretending not to see it, and went straight back to his seat.

The next few days were quite peaceful. Perhaps she had gotten used to the feeling of being isolated after a few days. But it didn’t matter. After all, she still had a good friend, Zhang Qiangyi.

Tomorrow is the weekend, and Zhang Qiangyi asked her to go to the secret room to play. She agreed without thinking. In her previous life, even going out was a luxury, let alone playing.

I put on a facial mask and put on the little skirt that my stepmother bought for Jiang Zhiyu a long time ago but had put aside.

Looking in the mirror, the redness and swelling of the acne on my face have subsided after a few days of care. Although there are still a lot of marks and traces, it can be considered that the skin has returned to normal.

Since it was the weekend and she was going out to play, Jiang Zhiyu applied some bare face cream to completely cover up the blemishes on her face, and tied her hair into a bun, which made her look pretty.

The first time Jiang Zhiyu saw Zhang Qiangyi, she was praised wildly. It was only when she arrived at the escape room store that she realized that this time she had entered a horror room.

There were three other boys sharing the car with the two of them. Two of them, one was very thin and the other was very fat, just two extremes. There was also one who Jiang Zhiyu called "little brother" in her heart because he was quite handsome.

Unlike Lin Yeci's handsomeness, Lin Yeci is the gentle and elegant type, while he is the cool and sunny type.

The boy took the initiative to come over and patted Jiang Zhiyu on the shoulder, "Beauty, with your tiny arms and legs, can you handle playing in such a scary chamber?"

Jiang Zhiyu took two steps back, frightened by the boy's enthusiasm. Are you kidding? Horrible? She had seen many real ghosts when she died, so why would she be afraid of such a fictional thing?
