Chapter 107 Tailor-Made Jealousy

Yu Jiuyuan didn't understand the deeper meaning in his words, or rather, she did understand but deliberately ignored it.

She pulled Rong Shenghan's wrist and led him to the women's clothing section on the other side, her voice light and cheerful: "I chose a champagne-colored fishtail dress, can you tell me if it looks good?"

Rong Shenghan followed her lead and walked over, but his gaze went past her shoulder and fell back on Xie Zhecheng.

Xie Zhecheng had already turned around again, letting the tailor continue to alter his suit. His profile was as cold and hard as a sculpture, but Rong Shenghan could clearly see the very faint, barely noticeable blush at the base of his ear.

Very good, excellent.

He thought to himself slowly, but the smile on his face grew even gentler.

He looked down at the sketchbook Yu Jiuyuan handed him, his fingertip pointing to the champagne-colored fishtail dress: "Backless design? Wearing this to a signing event, wouldn't it be too eye-catching?"

“It’s better to be eye-catching.” Yu Jiuyuan looked up at him, her eyes pure but her tone sly. “After all, it’s a signing ceremony with the Su family. We have to show them how impressive our Saint Sakura Academy is, don’t we?”

She leaned closer and said in a voice only the two of them could hear, "Besides, don't you like me wearing champagne color the most? Last time at the villa..."

Rong Shenghan gently pressed his fingertip to his lips to say the rest. The smile in his eyes deepened, carrying a hint of dangerous indulgence: "Don't talk nonsense outside."

The warmth of his fingertips, calloused from the touch, pressed against her soft lips. The familiar sensation reminded Yu Jiuyuan of what he had done to her in her villa last night.

She blinked, like an innocent little rabbit, and obediently shut her mouth, but inwardly she was sneering.

See how obedient he is?

Whether it's Xie Zhecheng's forbearance or Rong Shenghan's restraint, they all ultimately revolve around her.

Just like the pets she keeps, even the fiercest temperaments will eventually be tamed by her.

At this moment, Lin Yanran returned after finishing her phone call, her expression not looking too good: "My dad wants me to go back home. You guys can order the clothes for me, anything is fine."

Yu Jiuyuan waved her hand: "Go on, and have the tailor give the measurements to your housekeeper later."

Lin Yanran didn't say anything more and turned to leave the dress shop.

The shop returned to silence, with only the faint sound of the tailor taking measurements remaining.

Xie Zhecheng's suit was almost finished. He took off the sample and changed back into his own clothes, then walked over to Yu Jiuyuan and asked, "I've finished choosing mine, what about yours?"

“Rong Shenghan said this backless dress is too eye-catching.” Yu Jiuyuan waved the sketchbook in her hand, her tone slightly coquettish. “How about we go for something more conservative?”

Xie Zhecheng glanced at the champagne-colored fishtail dress, his gaze lingering for a moment on the open back design before shifting his gaze away, his voice flat: "If you like it, that's fine. You don't need to care about what others think."

Rong Shenghan smiled and reached out to ruffle Yu Jiuyuan's hair: "Since President Xie has said so, then we'll listen to you."

His fingers ran through her hair, seemingly intimate, yet his fingertips exerted a slight pressure, carrying a subtle hint of possessiveness.

Yu Jiuyuan didn't notice his little actions, or rather, she did notice them but found them quite amusing.

She looked up at Xie Zhecheng and smiled, "Then I'll take this one."

The tailor quickly noted it down and turned to prepare a sample garment in Yu Jiuyuan's size.

Xie Zhecheng nodded, glanced at the time, and said, "I have a club meeting to attend, so I'll head back now."

"Okay, be careful on the road." Yu Jiuyuan waved to him.

Xie Zhecheng gave her a deep look, then glanced at Rong Shenghan without making a sound, before turning and leaving the dress shop.

Only Yu Jiuyuan and Rong Shenghan remained in the shop.

The smile on Rong Shenghan's face slowly faded.

He walked up to Yu Jiuyuan, bent down, placed his hands on the armrests of the sofa, and pulled her into his arms.

The chill emanating from him hadn't dissipated, mingling with his usual cool fragrance to create an extremely oppressive aura.

He looked down at her, the gentleness in his eyes vanished, replaced by a deep, unfathomable darkness.

"Are you happy to be out picking out clothes with Xie Zhecheng alone?" His voice was soft, like a lover's whisper, yet it carried a cold, hooking edge.

Yu Jiuyuan looked up at him, her face still bearing that innocent and harmless expression: "It's alright, it's just business after all." She reached out and hooked her arm around his neck, her fingertips gently stroking the back of his neck. "What's wrong? Are you angry with me?"

"No." Rong Shenghan smiled, but the smile didn't reach his eyes at all. "It's just that I feel that President Xie's gaze towards you seems a little too focused."

His fingers slowly slid to her waist, gently pinching it with a pressure that carried a clear warning: "Yuanyuan, you're mine, aren't you?"

Looking at the possessiveness surging in his eyes, Yu Jiuyuan felt a surge of cold pleasure in her heart again.

She knew Rong Shenghan was jealous, and this feeling of being cherished and worried about her made her feel very satisfied.

She leaned closer and gently pecked his lips, her voice saccharine: "Of course it's yours." She raised her hand to caress his face, her fingertips tracing his features. "Have you forgotten? In my villa, only you can sleep in my bed."

These words were like a good medicine, instantly soothing the anger in Rong Shenghan's eyes.

He lowered his head and kissed her lips. Unlike his usual gentleness, this kiss was urgent and possessive, as if he wanted to devour her whole.

After a long while, he finally released her, his forehead pressed against hers, his breathing slightly erratic: "Don't keep me waiting too long."

"Okay, okay." Yu Jiuyuan nudged him, a perfect blush rising on her face. "We still need to try on dresses, it wouldn't be good if someone saw us."

Rong Shenghan straightened up, straightened her slightly disheveled collar, and his face returned to its approachable smile, as if the man with the dark eyes just now was just an illusion.

"Go ahead, I'll wait for you here."

Yu Jiuyuan took the picture book and walked towards the fitting room. The moment she turned around, the blush and innocence on her face vanished, leaving only a cold indifference.

She looked at her reflection in the mirror, a faint, almost cruel smile curving her lips.

Rong Shenghan's jealousy, Xie Zhecheng's forbearance, Lin Yanran's resentment, and Yuan Xu's unconditional indulgence... it's really interesting.

These pets, whom she had carefully trained, were all under her control, rejoicing for her, raging for her, and worrying about losing her.

This is the perfect taming manual that belongs to her.

And this young lady thoroughly enjoyed this long, tailor-made game.

The fitting room door was closed, blocking the view from the outside.

Yu Jiuyuan took off her coat, revealing her beautifully shaped shoulders and back, and prepared to change into the champagne-colored fishtail dress.

The girl in the mirror has curved eyebrows and eyes, seemingly innocent, but her eyes hide a bottomless, cold pool.
