Chapter 211 Remaining Life Sheng Yuan

The early summer breeze, carrying the crisp scent unique to the Alps, blows through the winding lavender fields of the private estate, gently lifting the white veils of grass.

Yu Jiuyuan stood in front of the French windows in her bedroom, watching the distant snow-capped peaks reflect the fine golden light in the morning sun, her fingertips unconsciously caressing the diamond ring on her ring finger.

That was a design Rong Shenghan personally designed in Monaco last month. The main diamond was surrounded by four small colored diamonds, which corresponded to the tenderness in his eyes, the warmth of Xie Zhecheng's palm, the delicacy of Yuan Xu's pen tip, and Lin Yanran's silent protection.

"What are you thinking about?"

A familiar, deep voice came from behind me, carrying the moist warmth of someone who had just taken a shower.

Yu Jiuyuan turned around and met Rong Shenghan's deep eyes.

Today he was wearing a well-tailored white suit, which accentuated his broad shoulders and narrow waist. His usually sharp features were softened by the gentle morning light, leaving only an unyielding tenderness.

He walked slowly closer, reached out and tucked a stray strand of hair behind her ear, his fingertips brushing against her earlobe, sending a slight shiver through her.

"I'm thinking, time really flies."

Yu Jiuyuan looked up at him, her eyes filled with a pure smile, like a pool of clear spring water. "When we first started preparing for our wedding in our senior year, I was worried that I wouldn't make it in time for graduation. I never imagined that I would be marrying you now."

Her tone was soft and sweet, with a touch of coquettishness, completely different from the composure and calmness she usually displayed.

Only in these completely relaxed moments could Rong Shenghan clearly feel the soft undertones hidden deep within the heart of this pampered young lady.

He leaned down and placed a gentle kiss on her forehead, his voice low and solemn: "I'm sorry to have kept you waiting so long."

"I didn't wait long at all." Yu Jiuyuan shook her head, took the initiative to wrap her arms around his neck, and rubbed her nose against his chin. "Every day I spend with you is so happy."

The system's mechanical voice sounded in his mind at the opportune moment, carrying a rare hint of gentleness: [Host Yu Jiuyuan, all targets' favorability has reached 100, the conquest mission is successfully completed. The system has detected that the host is currently at an important juncture in their life; therefore, the "Eternal Happiness" buff is awarded, which will continuously provide good fortune to the host and related individuals.]

Yu Jiuyuan curved her lips into a smile, but did not respond to the system.

She no longer needs the system's rewards to prove anything; the people in front of her and the people she cares about are already the most precious gifts of her life.

At 10 a.m., the wedding ceremony was held on the open lawn of the manor.

The lawn was meticulously maintained, covered with a pristine white carpet, and adorned with blooming white roses and lilies of the valley, filling the air with a sweet floral fragrance.

The distant snow-capped peaks serve as a natural backdrop, creating a scene so beautiful it's like an unreal oil painting.

The guests took their seats one after another, most of them were relatives and friends of both families, and there were also a few familiar faces to Yu Jiuyuan.

Xie Zhecheng, dressed in a dark suit, stood at the front of the crowd with a gentle smile on his face, but a hint of melancholy was hidden in his eyes.

Yuan Xu, dressed in a light gray dress, held an exquisite gift box in her hand. When her gaze fell on Yu Jiuyuan, it was full of sincere blessings.

Lin Yanran stood a little further away, his figure upright, his face expressionless, but his eyes followed Yu Jiuyuan with his unique silent protection.

As the wedding march played, Yu Jiuyuan, arm in arm with her father, slowly stepped onto the red carpet.

She wore an elaborate wedding gown with a long train, the skirt adorned with tiny rhinestones that swayed gently with her steps, like a fairy under the moonlight.

She wore a polite smile, but her gaze pierced through the crowd and landed directly on Rong Shenghan at the end of the red carpet.

Rong Shenghan stared at the girl walking towards him, his heart pounding uncontrollably.

He never imagined that this seemingly innocent and harmless young lady would gradually enter his heart and become his only obsession in this life.

He recalled the moments during their wedding preparations: she would stay up late with him to look at the wedding venue design plans, and even when she was so sleepy that she was yawning, she would force herself to stay awake and say, "Wait a little longer, I can still look at it."

She would remember all his preferences and, when trying on a suit, would secretly instruct the designer to change the cuff buttons to his favorite obsidian material.

She would even travel across most of the city to find the perfect souvenir for Xie Zhecheng, just to make sure everyone was satisfied.

This girl is always like this, loving people in the purest way and keeping everyone in her heart.

As they walked to the end of the red carpet, Yu's father placed his daughter's hand in Rong Shenghan's, patted his shoulder, and said in a heavy and solemn tone, "Xiao Yuan is now in your care. You must treat her well from now on."

"I will, Dad."

Rong Shenghan held Yu Jiuyuan's hand tightly, feeling the warmth on his fingertips, which filled him with a sense of peace.

He looked down at the girl beside him and said softly, "I'm sorry to have kept you waiting, my bride."

Yu Jiuyuan looked up at him and smiled, her eyes glistening with tears, yet her expression remained firm: "It's not too late, it just so happens to be you."

The ceremony was presided over by a highly respected priest.

When the priest asked, "Are you willing to love and stay with your partner forever, in sickness and in health, for richer or for poorer?" Rong Shenghan answered almost without hesitation, his voice clear and firm: "I do."

When it was Yu Jiuyuan's turn, she took a deep breath, her gaze slowly sweeping over Xie Zhecheng, Yuan Xu, and Lin Yanran below the stage, finally settling on Rong Shenghan's face.

She recalled the days she and Xie Zhecheng would stay up all night in the lab, when he would always quietly prepare hot coffee for her.

Thinking of the portraits Yuan Xu painted for her, each one accurately captured her most authentic appearance.

She recalled Lin Yanran's unwavering act of shielding her when she was in danger.
