Chapter 177 You're already my ex-girlfriend

Su Shenglin was really angry.

No matter how I tried to coax him, he just ignored me.

She even got up, put on her clothes, and insisted on leaving.

How could I let him go? I clung to him shamelessly.

"Su Shenglin, have you thought this through? If you step out of this door now, I really won't see you again. Have you thought it through..."

Anyone can make threats.

We both understand how much we mean to each other, and we both know how difficult it is to take this step.

He was simply too heartbroken and resentful, which is why he did such a thing.

Sure enough, when I hugged him from behind, his whole body trembled.

Breathing continuously, rising and falling, trembling slightly.

My heart aches terribly.

I held him tightly, never letting go, and slowly crawled from behind him to in front of him.

"Su Shenglin, let's part amicably, and let's keep only the most beautiful memories in our minds—okay?"

I looked up at him, my posture extremely humble.

I know he can't resist me like this.

I stared at him with my innocent, sparkling eyes, my gaze unwavering, and I kept staring.

Finally, his expression softened.

He looked down at me, his eyes so fervent, so affectionate, yet so resentful!

"Jiang Wan, you've got me figured out, haven't you?"

"No... I love you. Of course, if what you mean by 'eating' has a different meaning, then that counts too."

I flirted with him on purpose, trying to ease the tension.

Su Shenglin gritted his teeth, his eyes trembling even more violently, as if a storm was about to engulf me.

Suddenly, he grabbed me by the back of the neck and lifted me almost up.

Then he lowered his head and kissed her, a fierce kiss, as if a beast had caught its prey and was about to bite it to death.

I dared not struggle.

Despite the pain, I didn't resist at all. I stood on tiptoe and tried my best to meet him and keep up with his rhythm.

"You stink! Go take a shower!" He suddenly looked disgusted with me halfway through the kiss and pushed me away.

I smiled, raised an eyebrow, and offered, "Let's go together? It'll save time, and we can do something else too."

He stared at me, a hint of unfamiliarity in his eyes, and gritted his teeth again, "Jiang Wan! You asked for this today, don't blame me if I hurt you!"

He bent down, picked me up again, and strode towards the bathroom.

I wrapped my arms around his neck and chuckled seductively, "Even if you kill me tonight, I won't blame you."

"..." Su Shenglin looked at me, his thin lips moved, as if he wanted to curse, but felt that he couldn't say anything.

She simply bit my lip again.

That night, our battle never ceased.

At three in the morning, when we were both so hungry we were seeing stars, Su Shenglin got up to make me something to eat.

He's a really good cook; his egg and shredded pork noodles are delicious.

After replenishing our energy, we raced back to the bedroom and continued our passionate lovemaking...

————

When I woke up again, it was already noon the next day.

I rolled over, feeling as if my whole body was falling apart.

Still feeling a bit hungover, I rubbed my aching temples. Once I was a little more awake, I remembered the absurd things that had happened last night.

However, when he reached out to touch the bedside, it was empty.

I was startled, and my eyes widened instantly.

He's really not here, he's already gone...

I felt utterly empty inside, and tears welled up instantly, accompanied by a sharp pain in my chest.

"That jerk! He says he's reluctant to part, but he's quicker to act than anyone else. He didn't even bother with a proper goodbye..."

I muttered to myself in a low voice, and even punched the bed in frustration.

"Who are you cursing so early in the morning!" Suddenly, a voice came from behind me.

I was startled and turned around as if I had been electrocuted, only to see Su Shenglin sitting leisurely on a sofa chair by the window, seemingly waiting for me to wake up.

The curtains in the room weren't drawn, but at this hour, with the sun high in the sky, the room was already quite bright.

I saw that his expression was cold and aloof, lacking any of his usual gentleness.

I slowly sat up, realizing something.

It seems a dignified farewell is about to begin.

I didn't want to do it in such a serious atmosphere, so I pretended to be arrogant and said, "Why didn't you say anything when you got up? You scared me!"

Su Shenglin was dressed neatly in a shirt and trousers, looking handsome and refined.

He rested his hands on the armrests of the sofa chair, with one long leg draped over the knee of the other.

This is the first time I've seen him sit so coldly and distantly since we've known each other for so long.

High above, it truly became something I could never reach.

"I've been up for hours, but you're sleeping like a log. It's pointless for me to talk to you," Su Shenglin said calmly.

I remained silent, realizing he must have been suffering from insomnia and had woken up very early.

Then, he just sat there, staring at me.

Just thinking about that scene sends chills down my spine.

Fortunately, he didn't have any abnormal fetishes.

There are those psychologically twisted men in the news who can't accept being dumped by their girlfriends and might even dismember me while I'm asleep.

I reached for my pajamas, wrapped myself in them, and slowly got out of bed.

"Do you have something to say? I'm listening, go ahead and say it."

He laughed, watching me awkwardly get dressed, and deliberately mocked, "You were as enthusiastic as a call girl last night, how come you're so shy about getting dressed now?"

My hand, which was fastening my belt, froze. I looked at him, my expression a mixture of unfamiliarity and sadness.

"Su Shenglin, I said last night that I hoped we could part amicably, so that when we look back, all we'd remember are the best moments—did you have to say something like that to humiliate me?"
