My mind went blank for a moment, and I quickly thought, "Um... tomorrow is Friday, is tomorrow night okay?"
"Can."
"I'll let you know after I've made the restaurant reservation."
"OK."
My heartbeat became erratic, like tiny water droplets bouncing haphazardly on a drumhead, and I even felt a subtle sense of happiness and joy.
Just as I was about to hang up, Su Shenglin called me back.
"Is there anything else you need, Mr. Su?"
"Write down my personal number so we can contact each other tomorrow."
Oh my god!
Do I have to tell him his private number too?
"Oh, okay, sure!" I quickly rummaged through the table for paper and pen, wrote down his phone number, and said, "See you tomorrow."

After hanging up the phone, I sat there alone, lost in my own world...
