Chapter 53 The Reason Su Shenglin Approached Me

As soon as Chen Muxi said this, everyone around him burst into laughter.

But I was still in shock at discovering Chen Muxi's true identity, and my reaction was a beat slow.

Chen Muxi is the little princess of the Su family, that is, Su Shenglin's younger sister.

I remember our first meeting was at the hospital entrance. She was pretending to be a ride-hailing driver and drove me home in her Porsche.

That day in the car, she received a phone call from her brother—at the time, I saw a tall and handsome figure at the hospital entrance in the rearview mirror, and he seemed somewhat familiar.

Looking back now, that was Su Shenglin.

Then the second time we met was at the birthday party that Li Yunwei organized for me last time.

When the young girl appeared, Li Yunwei said that she was the "benefactor" who helped me remove the trending topics. At the time, everyone was curious about her identity—now everything can be explained. Since she is the little princess of the Su family, removing a trending topic is just a matter of asking her to do it.

I'd venture a bolder guess: perhaps it was Su Shenglin who stepped in to resolve it.

Even more coincidentally, when the birthday party ended that night, I asked Chen Muxi how she was getting home, and she said her brother was coming to pick her up.

I was completely drunk at the time, and I didn't even know when Chen Muxi left. When I woke up in a daze, I saw Su Shenglin appear.

Afterwards, I asked Su Shenglin how we met. He said he was at the club looking for someone and saw that I was very drunk, so he offered to take me home.

Many things that I couldn't understand before have become clear now that Chen Muxi's identity has been revealed.

No wonder I felt that Madam Su's face looked somewhat familiar when I first came to Su Garden and saw her.

Looking back now, Chen Muxi does resemble Madam Su more, while Su Shenglin resembles Mr. Su more.

There were actually many clues, but I never connected them together. I never imagined that Su Shenglin's sister had already gotten close to me—so why is that?

I quickly sorted out all the clues in my mind, and questions arose in my mind, but of course I didn't have time to ask them in detail at this moment.

After Chen Muxi finished speaking, all the women around her looked at the girl named "Yan Yue," making her blush and feel flustered.

Not wanting to offend the Su family's guests at Mrs. Su's birthday celebration, I quickly tried to smooth things over after my mind cleared up, saying, "It's still my fault for not being famous enough, but thank you for liking my work, Miss Yan. If you need anything next time, you can visit my studio. If you like anything, I'll be happy to sponsor you."

I genuinely meant well in helping her out, but after hearing what I said, she misunderstood and glared at me angrily, saying, "What do you mean? Are you making fun of me for not being able to afford the real thing?"

This is truly—

Before I could explain further, Yan Yue angrily turned and left.

Unexpectedly, just as she took a step, she cried out in surprise and quickly retreated.

Everyone around was startled. I looked closely and saw Yan Yue standing very close to the girl next to her.

The girl was wearing a pale yellow haute couture gown, the same one a celebrity wore on the red carpet. The special design on the chest of the dress was a major highlight—countless three-dimensional flowers that stood up, lively, playful and sweet.

But it's very easy for it to snag on clothes.

And just like that, he accidentally snagged Yan Yue's dress.

Moreover, the hook was placed in an awkward position, right where the two girls' chests were pressed together.

Yan Yue quickly retreated, her cheeks flushed red. She instinctively covered her chest with one hand and tried to pull her clothes open with the other.

But she was too impatient, and her tug not only failed to remove the dress, but also tore it in half.

The other girls nearby immediately crowded around, all of them very enthusiastic, but in reality they were just making things worse. They huddled together for quite a while but still couldn't untangle it.

"What are you wearing! It's practically a murder weapon!" Yan Yue got angry and started blaming her friend.

The other party was not to be outdone and retorted directly: "You bumped into me on your own, it's not like I went to seduce you."

"It's all your fault! You shouldn't have worn clothes like that!"

"That's still better than you, wearing a fake! It's so embarrassing!"

Seeing that the two were about to fight, I immediately stepped forward and said, "Stop arguing, let me handle this!"

If it weren't for the fact that it was Madam Su's birthday banquet, I would have loved for the two of them to fight.

But for now, it's best to keep the peace.

I spoke and stepped forward, and the girls immediately made way for me.

It's a very simple matter of getting tangled in the silk. As long as the two of them are close enough and the distance is loose, it's easy for them to get away from each other.

Aside from their love of beauty, their ability to compete and scheme against each other, and their lack of life skills, these young ladies are practically idiots.

"Okay, it's untied, but your dress has a snag and is a bit deformed," I kindly reminded Yan Yue, looking at the fake dress she was wearing.

"I don't want these tattered clothes anymore!" Yan Yue was so angry she was about to cry, her eyes reddening.

"Even if you don't want it anymore, you can't just take it off and run around naked now, can you?" Chen Muxi walked up to me, looked at her dress, clicked her tongue twice, and asked me, "Sister Jiang, you can heal people, right?"

I knew this young girl was trying to save face for me, so I smiled and said, "It is indeed a small problem, but it depends on what Miss Yan thinks."

Yan Yue looked at me, "Can you fix it?"

"Mm." I nodded.

"Then hurry up and get it done for me! I don't want to go back so soon," Yan Yue ordered matter-of-factly.

I was speechless. This attitude of begging for help...

“If you want someone to help you, at least be nicer, right? And shouldn’t you apologize for what you just said and did? Is this how your Yan family raised you?” Chen Muxi understood me well and immediately spoke my mind.

Yan Yue's face was stiff, and she bit her lip, clearly unable to swallow her pride.

"Oh dear, just apologize, or what are you going to do? We've come all this way to Su Garden for a banquet, and it's only just begun. Are you really going to leave now?" Yan Yue's friend whispered, nudging her.
