Village at night.
It was quiet, with the occasional barking of a dog appearing sudden and startling in the darkness.
Zhong Xiaoxiao's body and face were covered with scars. She lay on a wooden bed, staring blankly at the ceiling, looking emaciated.
The ceiling was pitch black and the whole room was shrouded in darkness. There was no light at all, not even the moonlight could get in because the windows were sealed tightly and the door was locked.
Blocking every possible way for her to escape.
The door suddenly creaked.
A ray of light leaked in from outside.
It was Liu Dong, holding the flashlight.
Zhong Xiaoxiao shuddered all over and curled up into a ball. She looked at Liu Dong in fear and backed away little by little. However, there was a wall behind her and she had nowhere to retreat.
In the dim light of the flashlight, Liu Dong's face looked terrifyingly hideous in front of her.
The torrential blows and kicks, the pain of broken bones and tendons, surrounded her again like a nightmare.

We are so close, but you help outsiders to bully me?" Liu Dong's hand slowly moved down from her face, stroking her lips inch by inch, her chin, and fell on her neck.
Suddenly, he tightened his grip and grabbed her neck forcefully.
Zhong Xiaoxiao suddenly lost her breath, and gradually, her whole face turned red and her eyeballs seemed to bulge out.
Liu Dong showed no sign of letting go and asked fiercely, "Promise me, Xiaoxiao, that you will never leave me again, okay? Our family will live happily together."

She lay on the wooden bed, gasping for breath. Before she could recover, Liu Dong grabbed her hair again.
She no longer had the strength to resist and was at his mercy like a puppet.
"Speak!" Liu Dong suddenly yelled, "Speak! Who allowed you not to answer my question?!"
Zhong Xiaoxiao was startled by his sudden roar, but she didn't know what he said and looked at him blankly.
"Promise me! You won't go to school and will live a good life with me at home! Do you hear me?" Liu Dong pinched her chin hard. As long as he exerted more force, her jaw would be dislocated.
Zhong Xiaoxiao's ears and head were buzzing, and she couldn't hear what he was saying at all. He asked her to agree, so she agreed. She nodded.
"Speak! Follow me." Liu Dong leaned closer to her, "I promise you."
Zhong Xiaoxiao looked at the face that suddenly enlarged in front of her, as if she was looking at a ghost, and mechanically followed him, "I promise you..."
