His hand movements did not stop.
The relentless heat assaulted Meng Jiuyi's body, making her cheeks burn.
"It was clearly you..."
"What about me?" Tan Yuchen said shamelessly, his tone low and lazy. "That night you drugged me and I was out of my mind. You were sober the whole time. I was too busy sleeping to have the energy to violate someone else."
"Where did you force me to touch you... here... or here...?"
His tone was like a curse, constantly throwing bait at her, making Meng Jiuyi's face burn like a small apple.
Compared to his earlier impatience, the man was now quite leisurely, as if he were unwrapping a gift he had long desired.
She was like a tightly closed seashell, which he studied relentlessly.
Meng Jiuyi struggled fiercely, but couldn't break free at all.
Tan Yuchen bit her lower lip.

In the early morning, the faint sunlight shone through the window and fell on the two people sleeping in each other's arms in bed.
Tan Yuchen opened his eyes, and a white light slowly surged up, restoring his vision.
She was sleeping soundly, leaning on his shoulder, her lips unconsciously pursed, her long eyelashes draped over her lower eyelids. Tan Yuchen's fingers gently stroked the downy hair on her cheek, then played with her eyelashes and eyebrows.
Her face was itchy. Meng Jiuyi opened her eyes slightly in her sleep, but couldn't see anything. She hadn't had enough sleep yet, so she followed the source of warmth and snuggled deeper into his arms.
This unconscious intimacy stunned Tan Yuchen, and his heart melted and collapsed. Having her was more joyful than he had imagined.
He pinched her face with a little force.
"ah!"
Meng Jiuyi, who had been dozing off, was instantly wide awake and turned over to fight him, but was quickly pushed back by Tan Yuchen.

Tan Yuchen hummed in agreement, cupped her face, and kissed her.
Meng Jiuyi immediately pushed him away, spitting.
"You're not allowed to kiss me!"
Of course, they couldn't stop him. After kissing for a while, they almost went too far. Tan Yuchen's Adam's apple bobbed violently, and even his breathing became hot.
"Would you like to go see them?"

The car passed several guard posts and stopped at the foot of the mountain where the seaside villas were located. Meng Jiuyi accompanied him up the mountain for the rest of the way.
For nine whole years, Tan Yuchen never came after the incident.
Unwilling to face it, as if it had never happened, he was unaware of the changes over the years—behind the villa on the hilltop, his mother's favorite bougainvillea had climbed all over the courtyard, covering swings and rocking horses he had never seen before, clearly well cared for over the years, its branches lush and verdant.
His mother's and sister's tombstones were spotless, and the flowers had never withered.
Meng Jiuyi placed two bunches of tulips next to the tombstone. The words "beloved wife Tan Zhen" were written in a style she had never seen before, as if someone had carved them stroke by stroke with a knife.
Tan Yuchen crouched down slightly, gazing at the photograph in front of the tombstone.

He introduced them.
"The girl next to me is called Meng Jiuyi. I'll let you in on a secret: your son adores her. I think if you ever meet her, you will too."

The seaside villa was a gift from Zhou Congjin to his beloved wife. He designed the house and selected every brick and tile. It is surrounded by the sea on three sides and bathed in the first rays of morning sunlight.

She immediately jumped off Tan Yuchen, wishing she could be three meters away from him.
