After entering the city, Sisi found an inn and booked four rooms. She shared one with Aunt Feng, Lao Bai and Lao Hei shared one, and Yun Yuqi and the others shared two.
After putting her things down, Sisi took Lao Bai and Lao Hei out to play.
Aunt Feng asked Yun Yuqi if she needed her to serve her. Yun Yuqi said no, and then went to find the shopkeeper to borrow the kitchen to make pancakes.
Aside from lodging, we hardly spent any money along the way. When we wanted meat, we'd hunt a couple of pheasants or rabbits on a hilltop. When we ran out of vegetables, we'd buy some from a farmer.
Mo Zhu also wanted to go out for a stroll. "Third Young Master, how about we go out for a walk too?"
Yun Yuqi had no desire to go out. "No, I'm tired. You can go if you want."
If you don't go, how can I go? "I'll go get you some hot water."
"Hmm. By the way, could you tell me how many days' rent they paid?"
"yes."
A moment later, Mozhu brought in water. "Third Young Master, they paid for three days' room."
Three days?
Yun Yuqi remembered what Lao Bai had said at the city gate.
It turns out he wasn't just saying it casually.
On the other side, Sisi and the others separated as soon as they stepped outside. Sisi was with Lao Hei, while Lao Bai was alone with another group.
It was already dark, and Sisi and the others still hadn't returned.
Yun Yuqi asked Mozhu to call Aunt Feng over. "Why hasn't the child returned yet?"
"Haven't had enough fun yet? Come back when you're done. Are you hungry? I'll go get you some food."
Was he hungry when he called her over? "Aren't you afraid they'll sell the child?"
Aunt Feng wasn't afraid at all. "When Sisi comes back, I'll tell her to come back early tomorrow so you won't worry."
He's not worried at all!
He needs her to get rid of my wife and children. "Mozhu, take some men and go out to look for them."
"Yes, sir, I'll go right away."
