Chapter 408 Haven’t you seen the doctor yet?

Chapter 408 Haven’t you seen the doctor yet?

The sun is shining outside the window.

Ji Linshen asked the driver to go around to the mall and told Chu Qi to queue up to buy wheel cakes.

Chu Qi was very happy. He hadn't eaten it for a long time, so it was a good opportunity to buy some for himself.

Seeing Chu Qi get out of the car, Ji Linshen seemed to remember something and lowered the window: "I bought her some milk tea from the shop on the third floor as well."

"Okay, Master."

Ji Lin leaned back in his chair and looked out the window.

The sunlight poured in through the huge glass curtain wall of the shopping mall, dazzling and glaring.

The hurried crowds and the noisy city sounds seemed to be separated by a layer of frosted glass in his eyes, noisy and blurry.

Chu Qi happily got into the passenger seat with the shopping bag in hand: "Master, I've bought everything. I waited in line for half an hour. I bought two for myself too."

The sweet aroma of wheel cakes filled the back seat of the car.

Ji Linshen just said "hmm" lightly, his eyes still unfocused on the light and shadow flying outside the window.

The car became quiet, with only the faint sound of the air conditioner and Chu Qi's efforts to suppress the sound of chewing.

The sunlight outlined a shadow of light and dark on Ji Linshen's profile, as if dividing his heart into light and dark parts.

It wasn't until the car drove smoothly into the familiar private driveway that the ice deep in his eyes really began to melt.

Ji Linshen pushed the door open and just as he stepped into the entrance hall, a figure with a familiar breath bumped into his arms.

"Little Ji Ji~" Lu Shiman's cheering voice was muffled in his chest.

Ji Linshen raised the hand holding the bag to firmly protect the steaming wheel cake, and subconsciously held the person hanging up with his other hand.

Lu Shiman ignored the tempting wheel cake and wrapped his arms around his neck like vines, clinging to him like a koala.

The tip of her nose was buried deep in the crook of his neck, sniffing hard like some small animal that had finally returned home and was eager to confirm its territory.

"Hmm..." She sighed with great satisfaction, "I finally smelled it."

Ji Linshen felt an itch on his neck from being rubbed, but at this moment, his heart was soothed by the pure attachment and felt warm and soft.

He lowered his head slightly, his warm lips pressed against the soft crown of her hair, his voice filled with obvious laughter and unwavering doting: "You're acting like I've been away from home for three years."

Lu Shiman raised her head and looked at him with clear eyes, accusingly: "I haven't seen you all day, and I feel terrible."

After saying that, she rubbed against him like a pig worm and said, "I couldn't even smell your scent all day."

She shook his neck with both hands unreasonably: "Ji Linshen, how could you let me not smell your scent!"

Ji Linshen couldn't help but chuckle, tightened his arms around her waist, and hugged her more firmly: "Well, it's my fault."

"Then apologize to me."

"I'm sorry, I'll try to let you smell it three times a day next time." His tone was so gentle that it could drown people, and his low smile was full of indulgence.

The warm and ambiguous atmosphere is so thick that it can be drawn.

Chu Qi, who was helping to close the door, witnessed the whole process and said, "Madam, you can hang a piece of cloth worn by the young master in front of your nose, and you will smell it."

Lu Shiman snorted softly: "I'm smelling him, not his clothes. I'm not a pervert."

“Oh.” Chu Qi scratched the back of his head. He had never been in a relationship before, so he didn’t understand. “Tsk, this posture is really like a puppy left at home. Every time the owner comes back, he pounces on him and smells him from head to toe…”

Chu Qi muttered, "It's exactly the same. They both sniffed from front to back, afraid that the owner might have the scent of another puppy..."

The sound was neither loud nor soft, just loud enough to clearly reach Ji Lin's ears.

Ji Linshen held Lu Shiman's arm without moving, but his head slowly turned to the side.

The pair of eyes that were just filled with doting and loving eyes were instantly covered with a thin layer of frost, and they glanced at the talkative Chu Qi without any emotion.

Chu Qi felt a sudden chill on the back of his neck.

He only heard his young master's cold voice come over calmly: "Chu Qi."

Chu Qi subconsciously shuddered: "Yes, yes, Master."

Ji Lin stared at him expressionlessly: "Have you not seen a doctor yet?"

Chu Qi was confused: "Ah? Young Master, I'm not sick, why should I see a doctor?" He looked confused and innocent, and he didn't understand why the young master was so obsessed with him saying he was sick.

Ji Linshen opened his thin lips and gave him a direct diagnosis: "Psychosis."

He lightly uttered these three decisive words, completely ignoring Chu Qi who was petrified on the spot.

Holding the little koala hanging on his body, he walked steadily into the hall, as if he had just casually swatted away a noisy fly.

Lu Shiman laughed mercilessly: "Hahahaha..."

Chu Qi froze at the door, the word "lunatic" playing repeatedly in his mind.

He couldn't understand why he became crazy?

What did I say wrong?

Lu Shiman sat on the sofa, leaning against Ji Linshen and eating hot wheel cakes.

While eating, he did not forget to feed Ji Linshen.

As the two were being affectionate with each other, a steady sound of footsteps was heard from the entrance.

"Hey, Assistant Chu." Lu Jianheng's gaze fell precisely on Chu Qi, who was frozen at the door. His peach blossom eyes twitched slightly, and a smile curled up the corners of his lips. "Is he playing the door god here? Did your young master just appoint him as one?"

Lu Chixu took off his coat, unbuttoned his sleeves and rolled them up casually: "The gatekeeper lion is pretty good, but his eyes don't look very smart."

Lu Yannan changed his shoes and immediately looked past everyone and locked onto Lu Shiman in Ji Linshen's arms.

"Manman, is the bump on your forehead better?"

Lu Shiman seemed to have found a backer suddenly, and came out of Ji Linshen's arms: "Brother~I'm not well, and I feel even more hurt because of my second brother."

Lu Chixu glanced at Lu Shiman, sat down opposite her, and his eyes fell on the wheel cakes in the bag in front of her.

I picked it up and took a bite without hesitation.

"Second brother! Mine." Lu Shiman exclaimed.

Lu Chixu glanced at her calmly: "What's yours and mine? In this family, everything is mine."

Lu Yannan leaned back on the single sofa, his arms resting on the armrests, his fingers slightly bent against his head, and he glanced at Lu Chixu leisurely.

Seeing his elder brother looking at him, Lu Chixu cleared his throat and said, "Of course, everything I have belongs to my elder brother."

Lu Jianheng rolled his eyes and said, "Coward." Then he snatched the wheel cake from his hand and took a bite.

Lu Shiman turned around in Ji Linshen's arms and snorted heavily at Lu Chixu.

The voice was neither too loud nor too soft, just loud enough for Lu Chixu to hear clearly: "Second brother, is your cell phone a tribute? You burn three sticks of incense in the morning and evening and don't answer the phone?"

"Or maybe you don't know how to use a smartphone? Do you want me to find a teacher to teach you from the beginning?"

Lu Chixu was stunned by the yelling. Wasn’t he just talking about the cake?

Why did it suddenly jump to the phone?

With such a huge jump in her thinking, is she really a normal person?
