Chapter 329: Being Beaten and Catching Seafood

Chapter 329: Being Beaten and Catching Seafood

Ji Linshen froze in place, holding the busy-tone phone. His fingertips rolled heavily over the edge of the phone, making a slight friction sound, and his Adam's apple rolled up and down, but no sound was made.

Huo Beiyan tied his arms behind his back and pressed them against the desk, veins on his forehead bulging as he struggled.

The edge of the solid wood table knocked his jaw so hard that it hurt, but he still stiffened his neck and turned his eyes towards Qin Jiaojiao: "Wife..."

"You still have the nerve to call me!" Qin Jiaojiao stepped forward quickly, poked his temples with her fingertips and pushed hard: "Manman doesn't even answer my calls now, are you satisfied?"

Chu Qi used a ruler to lift the hem of Huo Beiyan's shirt, and the cool sandalwood surface moved up and down along his tailbone. "Young Master, will thirty strokes teach you a lesson?"

"Hit the point!" Qin Jiaojiao twisted his ear and said, "Just spank me."

"Wife, whose family are you from? You help outsiders but not me?" Huo Beiyan was shocked and sad.

"You've been trying to sow discord. My Manman has been miserable for a few days, and now everyone's gone. How dare you say I won't help you?"

"And you, Ji Linshen, you can't even be a good lover. What qualifications do you have to stay with my Manman? Go find your fiancée."

Ji Linshen walked to the desk, put his hands on both sides of the desk, leaned over slightly, and looked down at Huo Beiyan condescendingly: "Isn't this what I'm looking for, right?" He narrowed his eyes and sneered: "Fiancée!"

The air suddenly froze.

Qin Jiaojiao let go of her hand and took a half step back as if she had been electrocuted. Her pupils trembled slightly under her thick eyelashes: "You...you...you two...f*ck!"

She opened and closed her lips, and finally let out a breath: "Huo Beiyan, are you fucking making such a big deal?"

"Wife, please listen to my explanation, it's not..."

Ji Linshen raised his hand and snapped his fingers. The bodyguard immediately stepped forward and stuffed the tie into Huo Beiyan's mouth to block his voice.

"Hmm!" Huo Beiyan's eyes turned red from the tie stuffed into his mouth, and two red marks appeared on his wrists from being held down by the bodyguards.

He banged his knee against the table leg in vain, causing the pen to roll to the ground and splatter ink.

Ji Linshen unbuttoned his cuffs with one hand and slowly rolled up his shirt cuffs to his elbows.

The muscles in his forearms stretched into smooth lines as he moved. As he leaned forward, the tip of his tie brushed against Huo Beiyan's reddened earlobe. "Fiancée, are you satisfied with this?"

"I'm doing this to help you. Think about it, if I don't tell you, what if one day..." Huo Beiyan defended himself.

Ji Linshen raised his eyes and looked at the young man holding documents in the corner.

The secretary shuddered at the cold gaze, and cold sweat trickled down her temples into her collar. "Boss Ji, Boss Lu... Boss Lu didn't have any other expression at the time. I was just following Boss Huo's instructions."

"Master, are we ready to start?" Chu Qi was eager to try and beat Huo Beiyan. He could brag about this for the rest of his life.

Ji Linshen stepped aside, hooked his fingers slightly, and Chu Qi let out a villainous laugh.

"Chu Qi, Xiao Chu, stop the fucking thing..." Huo Beiyan cursed anxiously.

Qin Jiaojiao was still digesting the information she had just received.

He swallowed and lowered his head to send a message to Lu Shiman.

Qin Jiaojiao: [Man, damn, your previous guess was right.]

Qin Jiaojiao: [That's not right, it's not Bai Yueguang at all.]

Qin Jiaojiao: [She's his fiancée. Ji Linshen's fiancée in Beijing is Huo Beiyan.]

Qin Jiaojiao: [Where are you? I want to be with you. I've been cheated on too.]

Lu Shiman didn't even see the message sent by Qin Jiaojiao.

The mobile phone was kept by the eldest brother, and the five of them went to the beach to catch seafood.

Lu Shiman didn't know how to face Ji Linshen, so she simply put him out of her mind.

The beach at low tide.

In addition to the five of them, there were many other people around going to the beach to catch seafood.

Lu Shiman carried a small bucket and held a pair of tongs in his left hand, eager to catch clams.

He had just taken two steps when he was stopped by Lu Yannan.

"Brother, I'm competing with my third brother, please don't interfere with me." Lu Shiman was extremely anxious as he watched Lu Jianheng running away in a sneaky manner.

"That's right, big brother. This is about whether we eat the shit cooked by the third brother or the delicious food cooked by the younger sister tonight." Lu Chixu stretched lazily: "Catch her more and let the third brother win."

"Third brother cooked it..." Lu Qiyun pursed her lips, thinking of when Lu Jianheng asked her to fry instant noodles in junior high school.

The more he expected that day, the more disappointed he was later.

I didn’t even have lunch, waiting for the loving fried noodles from my third brother.

As a result, what I got was a black pancake.

He still remembers the black color on the surface of the unsoaked dough.

Coming out of his memories, he nodded solemnly: "It's shit!"

Lu Yannan opened his bag, took out the mosquito repellent spray, squatted down, and sprayed Lu Shiman's calves and feet.

"There are a lot of mosquitoes here, and it will be uncomfortable if you get bitten." After spraying her legs and feet, Lu Yannan stood up and sprayed her arms and neck.

He didn't let her go until every inch of Lu Shiman's exposed skin was sprayed with mosquito repellent.

Lu Chixu caught a glimpse of a dark shadow that stopped at his arm and slapped it hard, leaving a little blood.

"Brother, spray some for me." Lu Chixu looked at the place where the mosquito had landed and it turned red. He scratched it twice and reached out to his brother.

"Don't you know to wear long sleeves when you go out?" Lu Yannan said, then took out another bottle and threw it to Lu Chixu.

Lu Chixu sprayed it on his arm, and the pungent smell made him sneeze: "Brother, this is too pungent. It's the one you used on my sister."

"Use it if you like." Lu Yannan closed the bag, turned around and followed Lu Shiman.

Looking at his elder brother's back, Lu Chixu turned to look at Lu Qiyun: "Brother, your heart is bent to your butt."

Lu Qiyun nodded: "Yeah."

A gust of sea breeze blew over, and Lu Chixu smelled a familiar scent on his brother. He leaned in and sniffed carefully: "Did you use your sister's mosquito repellent spray?"

Lu Qiyun nodded again: "Mine."

"Anything else? Give it to me."

"No." Lu Qijun held his pocket tightly. This was something he developed specially for his sister. There were not many in stock, so it couldn't be wasted.

Lu Jianheng was digging everywhere and scratching all over his body.

Seeing that his sister was not bothered by mosquitoes at all, he frowned and said, "Lu Shiman, you have mutated. Mosquitoes don't bite you."

"Third brother, maybe the mosquitoes here like to bite crabs." Lu Shiman held a crab and showed it off to Lu Jianheng.

Seeing that he was bitten badly, Lu Yannan took out a bottle of mosquito repellent from his bag and gave it to him: "You are just as brainless as Lu Chixu, use this to spray it."

Lu Jianheng sprayed it on his arm, and the pungent smell made him sneeze: "Brother, why didn't you take it out earlier?" His voice was accusing.

"I'm stupid," Lu Yannan said, picked up the bucket and followed Lu Shiman to the other side.

The setting sun dyed the sea surface into orange-gold satin, and the broken golden waves danced on Lu Shiman.

Lu Jianheng bent down, his white T-shirt was stained with sand, and he caught the splashes of water from his sister in his palm.

Lu Qiyun secretly kicked over Lu Jianheng's bucket.

Lu Chixu ran after the crabs with a crooked bucket in his hand, and his laughter mixed with the sound of the tides bumped into Lu Yannan's helplessly raised mouth.

The different depths of the five people's footprints were blurred into an oil painting by the twilight, and the sunset glow stretched the playing figures very long, like a crooked but tightly embedded shell necklace on the beach.
