Extra: Huo Beiyan & Qin Jiaojiao (5)

Extra: Huo Beiyan & Qin Jiaojiao (5)

The next few days.

Qin Jiaojiao was under 'house arrest' in this luxurious villa.

Huo Beiyan seemed very busy, but he always responded to her requests, including three meals a day, snacks, and afternoon tea, all of which were her favorites.

The clothes in the closet were the right sizes and the styles she liked.

She was irritable and bored. Lu Shiman never replied to her messages and was nowhere to be seen.

After holding it in for several days, I couldn't hold it in any longer and called Lu Shiman.

"Jiaojiao, you can't just sit there and wait for death. Look at the heroines in novels. Which one doesn't try every possible way to escape?"

"Look around for a handsome, unusual-looking bodyguard, like some big shot lurking around idiot Huo. Hug him and let him take you away."

Qin Jiaojiao: "No."

"Then see if there's a tunnel. If you go out through the tunnel, you'll be in the suburbs."

Qin Jiaojiao: “No!”

"Then...why don't you just climb over the wall? The success rate of climbing over the wall is 50%."

After listening to her so much nonsense, she finally got to the point.

"Wait for my good news." Qin Jiaojiao said, hung up the phone immediately, and prepared to implement the plan.

She observed the terrain and slipped to the backyard while the servants and bodyguards were not paying attention.

She brought a heavy flower pot to use as a stepping stone and climbed up the wall using her hands and feet.

Victory was waving at her, and she was about to escape from this shabby...luxury villa.

He lay on the wall, about to jump down, then looked back at the villa: "Goodbye!"

Too much joy turns to sorrow, Qin Jiaojiao slipped.

With a scream, she fell heavily onto the soft grass.

There was a sharp, piercing pain in my ankle.

Qin Jiaojiao blamed Huo Beiyan in her heart.

If Huo Beiyan hadn't brought her to this villa and wouldn't let her leave, would she have thought of climbing over the wall?

If it weren’t for Huo Beiyan, would I have fallen here in such a miserable state?

It’s all the fault of that pervert Huo Beiyan.

The servant rushed over upon hearing the noise, his face turned pale with fear, and he dialed Huo Beiyan's number with trembling hands.

Huo Beiyan is presiding over an important meeting.

When he received the call, his face changed suddenly. He immediately interrupted the meeting, left a room full of executives, and left.

He rushed back to the villa.

When I opened the door, I saw Qin Jiaojiao curled up pitifully on the large sofa in the living room.

While she was crying and shouting in pain, she kept stuffing potato chips into her mouth.

Seeing her like this, Huo Beiyan secretly breathed a sigh of relief.

When I walked up to her, I saw that her eyes were red, obviously she had been crying.

The right ankle was swollen like a dough ball, the skin was cold and tight, and had an abnormal bluish-purple color.

Huo Beiyan's heart suddenly tightened.

He walked over quickly, squatted down beside the sofa, and stretched out his hand cautiously, wanting to touch but not daring to.

"It hurts..." Qin Jiaojiao chewed the potato chips in her mouth and groaned in a crying voice: "It's all your fault."

Huo Beiyan took a deep breath, gently lifted her feet and placed them on his legs.

He carefully touched the horribly swollen ankle with his fingertips, his brows tightly furrowed: "It's become a pig's trotter." His voice was filled with heartache and blame.

"You're the pig's trotter." Qin Jiaojiao's eyes welled up with tears as she glared at Huo Beiyan. "It's all your fault. If you hadn't brought me here, would I have been able to climb over the wall? Would I have sprained my ankle if I hadn't climbed over the wall?"

Huo Beiyan whispered to the servant to bring ice packs and towels.

He carefully wrapped the ice pack in a towel and gently applied it to her swollen ankle: "I didn't ask you to climb over the wall."

The cold touch made Qin Jiaojiao gasp and subconsciously wanted to retract her foot: "Anyway, it's all your fault. You are the source."

"Don't move." Huo Beiyan didn't object. He held her ankle firmly with his palm, controlling the strength just right, holding her in place without hurting her.
