Extra: Uncle takes care of the baby

Extra: Uncle takes care of the baby

Lu Yannan was awakened by a heavy weight on his chest.

He had a dream in which two huge rocks fell from the sky, pressing down on his chest and making it difficult for him to breathe.

When he opened his eyes, his dream came true. Lu Yuzheng, whose face was flushed from sleeping, was lying on his chest, and Lu Tangxi was lying next to him, with a white and tender little foot resting squarely on his face.

The two little guys were breathing evenly and sleeping soundly.

Lu Yannan helplessly pinched Xiao Tangxi's feet and moved away carefully.

He held his breath again, then gently picked up his nephew, who felt heavy on his chest, and laid him on the pillow beside him.

The two little guys stayed up most of the night last night to keep their parents company, and now they are sleeping very soundly.

He got out of bed quietly and went to the bathroom to wash up.

When he came out, he found that the two little guys had already sat up from the bed in a daze.

Lu Tangxi rubbed his sleepy face. As soon as he saw Lu Yannan, a sweet smile immediately bloomed on his little face and he stretched out his chubby little arms: "Uncle, hold me."

Lu Yuzheng climbed down from the bed nimbly, walked to Lu Yannan with his short legs, and reached out to hug his thighs tightly.

Lu Yannan picked up Lu Tangxi and looked down at his nephew.

Lu Yuzheng raised his head and complained with a feeling of being abandoned: "Uncle, Dad and Mom are too much. They ran away in the middle of the night and left such lovely children like me and my sister at home."

Lu Yannan's lips curled up slightly at his boasting and accusations.

He rubbed his little head lovingly from behind: "Did you bring your sister to your uncle's room?"

Lu Yuzheng immediately shook his head vigorously, his face full of honesty: "No! Dad and Mom brought us here."

He even imitated the adults, lowering his voice and adding mysteriously, "They also told us to climb into bed quietly so as not to wake you up."

When little Tangxi in Lu Yannan's arms heard her brother mention mom and dad again, her little mouth immediately drooped in grievance, tears quickly filled her big eyes, and she cried out in a sobbing voice: "Mom..."

Lu Yannan patted Lu Yuzheng's head gently: "Go change your clothes, wash up, and go downstairs to eat. Uncle will call them later."

Lu Yuzheng always listened to Lu Yannan, nodded obediently, turned around and ran back to his room.

Lu Yannan carried Lu Tangxi, whose eyes were already filled with tears, into the bathroom.

He picked up her small toothbrush and soothed her gently: "Mom will be back soon, don't cry, uncle will help you brush your teeth."

He squeezed toothpaste onto the pan expertly. "After brushing your teeth, let's go eat...custard buns, okay?"

“Custard buns?” Lu Tangxi’s crying stopped instantly. She looked at Lu Yannan, tears still on her face, but she was already grinning: “I want… I want two.”

Lu Yannan looked at the speed at which her expression changed and couldn't help but chuckle: "Okay, two."

He patiently helped Lu Tangxi wash up, then carried her to the baby room and changed her into a clean and cute little dress.

Then he took her soft little hand and went downstairs to the restaurant together.

In the restaurant.

Lu Chixu and Lu Qijun were sitting at the dining table.

Lu Chixu ate his meal while talking to Lu Qiyun who was drinking coffee quietly.

Lu Qijun had a blank expression on his face as he ate his breakfast slowly, as if the chattering second brother beside him was a piece of air.

"Lu Luqi, are you fucking listening to me?" Lu Chixu was very angry at his attitude.

"I heard it." Lu Qijun said, "But I didn't take it to heart."

"You..." The word "mother" was on the tip of Lu Chixu's tongue, but when he saw Lu Yannan leading Lu Tangxi in, he swallowed the word back.

He put on a smile, put down the cutlery, and rushed to Lu Tangxi in a few steps. He picked her up and spun her around in a circle: "Oh, our little princess is awake!"

He rubbed her soft head with his chin, and said in a voice that was a bit exaggerated, coaxing a child: "Your mom and dad are out playing. These few days, you just follow your uncles obediently..."

"Wow..." Before Lu Chixu finished speaking, Lu Tangxi's mouth pouted, and the emotions that had just been soothed by the custard bun collapsed instantly, and her earth-shaking cry echoed throughout the restaurant.

Lu Yannan took a deep breath, and the veins on his forehead twitched.

He raised his hand without hesitation and slapped Lu Chixu on the back of the head.

"Pah!"

Crisp and loud!

"Just coaxed her!" Lu Yannan's voice was filled with suppressed anger.

Lu Chixu cried out, holding the back of his head with a look of grievance: "Brother, I'm not..."

Lu Qiyun, who had been eating quietly on the side, put down his coffee cup.

He took out a tissue and slowly wiped the corner of his mouth.

Then, he stood up, walked to Lu Tangxi who was sobbing, and took her from Lu Chixu's arms naturally.

He carried her and walked back to the dining table. He placed her on the children's chair next to him, picked up a small custard bun, handed it to her, and said calmly, "Eat."

Just two simple words, yet they carry an undeniable soothing power.

Lu Tangxi sobbed, looking at the fragrant custard bun in her hand, then at her fourth uncle's expressionless but reliable face. Her crying gradually subsided and turned into a soft sob of grievance.

Lu Qijun took out a candy from his pocket and shook it towards Lu Tangxi: "Eat it obediently and I'll give you a reward."

Seeing the candy in his fourth uncle's hand, Lu Tangxi's expression changed in an instant, and he grinned at Lu Qiyun: "I'm a good boy, uncle will give you two."

Seeing her bargaining, Lu Qiyun raised the corner of his mouth and took out another one: "Two if you don't cry."

Lu Tangxi wiped away her tears with her free little hand: "Don't cry anymore."

"Well, you're so good." Lu Qiyun touched her head and turned to glare at the culprit, his second brother: "You're so annoying."

"Hey, you kid!" Lu Chixu was so angry at his stare that he stepped forward and wanted to attack him.

"Uncle, mom said that we should stay calm when we wake up early in the morning." Lu Yuzheng walked into the restaurant and patted Lu Chixu's thigh.

Lu Chixu pinched his face: "Did your mother ever tell you not to worry so much about children?"

Lu Yuzheng climbed onto the chair and picked up the cutlery: "I'm not a child anymore, I'm an adult."

"Oh~ adult, who was that person who was looking for his mother in the middle of the night holding a pillow?"

Lu Yuzheng blushed and defended himself: "I'm afraid that Mom will miss me, not that I'm scared."

"Well, that's a good point. You're really tough."

Seeing that his second uncle was still teasing him, Lu Yuzheng turned to look at Lu Yannan: "Uncle, take care of your brother."

Lu Chixu was amused by Lu Yuzheng and raised his hand to rub his hair: "Eat quickly, and after you finish eating, your uncle will take you to school."

"I want to go in that pink sports car." Lu Yuzheng made a request.

"Okay, but that's Third Uncle's car. What should you do?"

"Ask for the consent of my third uncle and express my gratitude."

“So good!”

Lu Yannan sat down and picked up his coffee. He glanced at them, a smile of indulgence flashing across his eyes.
