Jiang Xian looked at her.
"You have spoken arrogantly and disrespectfully to me. Slap yourself!"
As soon as he finished speaking, the sound of slapping someone's face rang out one after another.
Jingtan and Yunshu had been bullied in Jingyu Palace for so many years and had been holding back their anger, especially since they disliked everyone in Huian Palace. Now that they had the chance, they naturally fought back with all their might.
In just a few moments, blood seeped from the corners of the mouths of several palace maids.
In an instant, the entire hall fell silent, and no one dared to utter another word.
"The distance from the Imperial Hospital to Huian Palace is such that even if the imperial physicians run, it will take them at least fifteen minutes."
"Then, Imperial Physician, I ask you, how did you manage to arrive at Huian Palace in half an hour, identify the poison Consort Hui claimed to have, quickly administer the antidote, and then examine everything else?"
Upon hearing this, Emperor Rongcheng finally reacted.
He sat up abruptly, realizing what had happened.
He was so frightened by Consort Hui's blood-vomiting appearance that he became prejudiced and completely lost his rationality.
Jiang Xianhao continued, "According to the imperial physician, this poison is colorless and odorless, making it extremely difficult to detect. So how did you discover it?"
After saying this, the imperial physician suddenly stopped. He looked flustered and stammered for a long time, unable to offer any explanation.
Jiang Xianhao gave a cold laugh.
"Unless you are prepared in advance and arrive quickly after Consort Hui takes the poison, and take the antidote immediately, you can't guarantee that Consort Hui's body will not be harmed."
This also cleared Consort Hui of suspicion and caused a rift in the relationship between the Emperor and the Crown Prince.
"You agree, don't you?"
After saying this, the imperial physician immediately shook his head and kept shouting that he was wronged.
Jiang Xianhao, however, was unwilling to waste time and directly ordered, "Cripple one of his hands."
For the imperial physician, one hand was his life.
Upon hearing this, the imperial physician disregarded everything and immediately shouted, "I'll talk, I'll talk, please don't cripple my hand!"
As he spoke, he revealed the truth.
But the truth was exactly as Jiang Xianhao had said.
All of this was prepared in advance by Consort Hui.
As for those poisons, they were all made by him at the request of Consort Hui, just in case.
Emperor Rongcheng was completely stunned and stood up in disbelief.
Although he knew that Consort Hui had all sorts of ulterior motives and was even a bit ambitious, he never imagined that she would have such audacity.
To frame the crown prince, he was even willing to risk his own life!
He slowly turned his head, his gaze falling on Jiang Xianhao.
Jiang Xianhao only glanced at him before looking away.
The sarcasm in his eyes stung him.
At this moment, the imperial physician who had just arrived knelt down tremblingly.
"Your Majesty, Your Majesty the Empress, although the Imperial Concubine was poisoned, the poisoning was mild and did not damage her health. She will be fine after she wakes up."
Jiang Xianhao smiled upon hearing this and turned to look at Emperor Rongcheng.
Now, even if Emperor Rongcheng didn't believe it, he had no choice but to believe it.
He couldn't help but think back to a long, long time ago, when he had just had a falling out with Jiang Xianhao. Whenever he tried to talk things out with Jiang Xianhao, he would always encounter all sorts of things that made him even angrier.
Could it be that back then...
Emperor Rongcheng dared not even think about it.
This side of Consort Hui shocked him.
This made him think of her former frail appearance, which seemed particularly ironic.
Thinking of this, he could no longer hold back and gave the order directly.
"By imperial decree, Consort Hui has committed a heinous crime by framing the Crown Prince. She shall be banished to the Cold Palace."
After saying that, he turned to look at Jiang Xianhao.
Jiang Xianhao, however, did not look at him, but turned to look at Shen Hechuan.
"It's alright now."
"With your mother around, no one can bully you."
She looked at her son, who was taller than her, and spoke softly as if coaxing a child.
Shen Hechuan nodded, his expression appearing normal, but his slightly flushed face revealed his shyness.
Emperor Rongcheng also walked up to Shen Hechuan.
"Hechuan, Father... I misunderstood you."
Emperor Rongcheng rarely yielded, but Shen Hechuan was no longer happy as before. He simply knelt down and bowed, saying:
"Father is busy with many affairs of state, and it is inevitable that he will be deceived by treacherous people. This matter is not your fault."
Emperor Rongcheng nodded, feeling gratified. He stepped forward and personally helped Shen Hechuan up, patting him gently on the shoulder a few times.
Jiang Xianhao's gaze, however, fell on Gu Jingchun.
This was the first time Gu Jingchun had met Jiang Xianhao.
I was immediately struck by her beauty; no wonder Shen Hechuan is so handsome.
Now, Jiang Xianhao's gentle gaze fell on her, making her feel flattered and she quickly bowed.
Jiang Xianhao quickly stepped forward to support her and stopped her from moving.
Her gaze fell on her face, as if she were looking at her carefully again and again, and she murmured something softly.
"picture."
"They look so alike."
The voice was very low, and Gu Jingchun didn't hear it clearly, only feeling slightly puzzled.
But Jiang Xianhao said again, "What a wonderful girl."
As she spoke, she took Gu Jingchun's hand again and gently patted it in her own palm before saying, "It's so good that Hechuan met you."
"If he bullies you in the future, just tell me, and I will definitely stand up for you."
Gu Jingchun nodded slightly and couldn't help but glance at Shen Hechuan.
