Emperor Rongcheng didn't wait for her reply; he grinned from ear to ear, smiling like a child.
Then, he pulled her into his arms.
Holding her in his arms wasn't enough; he then lifted her up and spun her around in circles, scaring Jiang Xianhao so much that she turned pale and started hitting him repeatedly.
"What are you doing? Put me down right now."
"Haha, put me down quickly, it's so high!"
Jiang Xianhao kept talking, but Emperor Rongcheng seemed not to hear her and kept repeating himself.
"That's wonderful! Ah Hao has agreed to marry me."
Jiang Xianhao was so dizzy from being spun around by Emperor Rongcheng that he finally gave up and laughed along with him.
The two people's voices quickly attracted the attention of the surrounding palace maids.
They came out yawning, but upon discovering it was Emperor Rongcheng, they immediately and quietly retreated.
After Emperor Rongcheng put Jiang Xianhao down, Jiang Xianhao steadied herself and then let out a cold snort.
"Don't get too excited yet, I haven't agreed to it."
"I already said that once you catch a hundred earthworms and use those hundred earthworms to catch a hundred koi fish, I will marry you."
Jiang Xianhao repeated himself, but Emperor Rongcheng was still laughing wildly.
"Okay, I'll go catch it now."
As he spoke, he suddenly bent down and kissed Jiang Xianhao on the cheek before quickly running away.

Jiang Xianhao covered her face and turned to glare at him.
Emperor Rongcheng turned around, a wanton smile curving his lips as he looked at her.
His bright, joyful eyes, now filled with ripples gentler than the sunset, touched her rapidly racing heart.
