Chapter 1: He Starts Fighting After Transmigrating

"Give her a good beating, and see if she knows she's wrong!"

Xu Jinhuan vaguely heard this sentence, and then she felt a pain in her buttocks, as if someone was torturing her.

Xu Jinhuan forced her eyes open and found herself lying on a wooden bench, with two burly women in ancient costumes standing beside her, raising wooden sticks high to gather strength.

They seemed intent on smashing her to death on the wooden bench, and one of them quietly moved the stick, aiming it at Xu Jinhuan's waist.

This blow will either kill or cripple the target...

Before the two men could strike, Xu Jinhuan quickly dodged to the ground, trying to figure out what was going on.

She was clearly fighting the Zombie King for the 101st time, trying to avenge her loyal little brother, so how did she end up here?

Has God finally remembered the wish she made when she was eighteen? This has been delayed for far too long.

and……

Xu Jinhuan touched his chest, feeling the lingering anger and sorrow.

Did this poor kid get beaten to death with a stick?

"You still dare to dodge? Youyou is already weak. If it weren't for you, you wretched child, how could she have caught a cold? Granny Liu, take her back and keep beating her until she admits her mistake!"

Under the eaves, Xu Jinhuan saw a woman dressed in purple brocade staring at her angrily.

Xu Jinhuan recognized her by her voice; this was the person who had just given the order to beat her.

What is this person's relationship with her? Are they enemies?

However, the current situation leaves Xu Jinhuan no time to think things through.

Having received the order, the burly Granny Liu was rubbing her hands together and walking towards Xu Jinhuan, talking as she went.

"Second Miss, Madam is your own mother, how could she harm you? This old servant advises you to be obedient and go back to accept your punishment yourself, so that you can suffer less physical pain."

Otherwise, once this old servant takes action, you'll be in deep trouble.

Xu Jinhuan straightened up and looked at the fat hand that was being reached out to her.

A cold glint flashed in her eyes. She first grabbed Granny Liu's wrist, and then, to everyone's astonishment, she skillfully dislocated her arm with two quick snaps.

Before Granny Liu could react, Xu Jinhuan did the same thing and dislocated her other arm.

"ah!"

Granny Liu screamed loudly in agony.

The old woman next to her rushed to help, but Xu Jinhuan picked up a wooden stick and started hitting her face repeatedly.

She was beaten until she ran away with her head in her hands, begging for mercy repeatedly, completely forgetting her original purpose.

"Second Miss, this old servant was wrong, please don't hit me!"

The scene made the servants who had been watching the commotion in the courtyard shudder involuntarily. It turned out that the quiet second young lady was the real ruthless one.

"Madam, Madam, please do justice for this old servant!"

While Xu Jinhuan was beating someone, Granny Liu, swinging her two noodle-like arms, ran crying and sobbing under the eaves, looking as miserable as could be.

"You wretched child, look what you've done! Kneel down and admit your mistake right now, or are you trying to drive me crazy?"

The lady looked at Xu Jinhuan with nothing but disdain and disgust, without a trace of warmth.

Xu Jinhuan then stopped wielding the wooden stick. She looked directly into the woman's eyes and said coldly.

“You are truly laughable. Not only do you bully your own child, but you also let others bully your child. Even tigers don’t eat their cubs; you are not even as good as an animal.”

"You, you wicked..."

The lady was already angry, and after hearing Xu Jinhuan's words, she couldn't catch her breath and fainted.

"lady!"

"Someone, quickly go and fetch the imperial physician!"

Xu Jinhuan coldly watched as the courtyard instantly descended into chaos. She twirled the wooden stick in her hand, felt the familiar energy within her body, and a hint of joy flashed across her face.

She casually pointed to a maid standing on the outer edge, dressed simply but looking clever.

"You, help me back to my place."

The maidservant only hesitated for a moment before quickly walking to her side, respectfully taking her arm, and leading her out of the courtyard.

The two walked for a while.

Do you think I should be punished today?

Xu Jinhuan had no memories of this body, so if he wanted to find out about the original owner, he could only ask indirectly.

The maid was taken aback again by the question, seemingly not expecting Xu Jinhuan to ask it.

Seeing that Xu Jinhuan had stopped talking after asking the question, she swallowed hard, remembering the miserable state of the two old women, and then mustered up her courage to answer.

"This servant believes you are not wrong."

Xu Jinhuan looked at her curiously upon hearing this, "Continue."

Seeing that Xu Jinhuan hadn't hit her, the maid looked left and right, and only when she was sure no one was around did she muster up the courage to continue speaking.

"That day, although you fell into the pond with the young lady, she said that it had nothing to do with you and that you shouldn't be punished."

Xu Jinhuan learned the whole story from the maid's words. She frowned. Falling into the water and getting sick? This plot was so familiar. Had she transmigrated into some novel?

In the apocalypse, there was little entertainment besides reading paper novels, so Xu Jinhuan had read almost every book with words in the base, and was therefore very familiar with these kinds of plots.

"Second Miss, we've arrived at your courtyard. Madam probably still needs someone, so I'll take my leave now."

The maid led Xu Jinhuan to a fairly spacious courtyard, bowed respectfully, and then turned and left.
