"Since you don't want to walk by yourself, then I'll have to help you." The shopkeeper's eyes hardened, wanting to use the excuse of teaching Song Zhiyu a lesson to warn the others that if they couldn't afford the clothes from Yushang Pavilion, they shouldn't come in easily, otherwise they would only embarrass themselves.
He waved his hand, and several tall, burly men immediately walked in from outside.
Shen Yanxi smiled gloatingly, a hint of anticipation in his heart. If Song Zhiyu asked him for help, he might be able to help her retain the last bit of dignity.
But he was disappointed; Song Zhiyu simply stood there quietly, her expression unchanged.
He could see no panic on her face.
Just as several burly men were about to grab Song Zhiyu's arms, a charming yet authoritative voice rang out from upstairs, drawing everyone's attention.
"I had no idea that Manager Yao was so powerful, ignoring the master's words."
What catches the eye is an extremely alluring and beautiful face, with a striking beauty mark under the right eye that adds even more charm to the face.
The woman wore a deep red dress with an exotic flair, and the bells at her waist jingled as she slowly walked towards Song Zhiyu under the shopkeeper's fearful gaze.
"My beautiful guest, Yu Chang Pavilion has been very rude." The woman glanced at the jade pendant at Song Zhiyu's waist without leaving a trace, her red lips curving slightly, and as she moved, it seemed as if a wisp of fragrance lingered around her nose.
Song Zhiyu smiled indifferently, subtly trying to sow discord among Manager Yao, "It's alright, it's just that Yushang Pavilion's hospitality still needs improvement."
"Don't worry, this will never happen again." The woman nodded slightly, her tone carrying a barely perceptible hint of respect.
Shopkeeper Yao was oblivious to the woman's overly respectful way of addressing Song Zhiyu and continued to make excuses for himself.
“Miss Yun, this woman couldn’t afford the clothes and refused to leave, which offended the esteemed guests in the shop. I was afraid that she would affect the shop’s business, so I resorted to this tactic.”
“Miss Yun, Manager Yao is right, you…” Shen Yanxi couldn’t help but speak up for Manager Yao.
Yunxi turned her head and glared at Chen Yanxi. "Young master, I don't think I was speaking to you. Besides, it's none of your business to discipline my own people."
Shen Yanxi shut his mouth awkwardly, looking somewhat embarrassed.
No one has ever dared to embarrass him like this before; this woman is truly remarkable.
"You, get out of here! Yu Chang Pavilion doesn't need a snobbish manager like you. From now on, there's no place for you in the capital." Before Yun Xi could even hear Manager Yao begging for mercy, he was dragged out by several burly men who covered his mouth.
Such swift and decisive actions left everyone present stunned.
While showing her kindness, Shen Jinshu also dragged Song Zhiyu into the conversation, saying, "Miss Yun, even if Manager Yao was in the wrong first, you can't be so ruthless."
I believe my second sister is kind-hearted and would certainly not want Manager Yao to suffer such a severe punishment because of her.
Song Zhiyu raised her hand to stop her from continuing, smiling, "No, I've always been narrow-minded and vindictive, I don't have the good nature of repaying evil with good."
"If you were truly kind, why didn't you speak up for me when I was about to be thrown out? Miss Shen, you can't be so shameless."
Shen Jinshu's face stiffened. Hearing the whispers from the crowd, he wished he could tear Song Zhiyu to pieces.
She hadn't expected Song Zhiyu to be so reckless, completely disregarding what others thought of her, acting flamboyantly and arrogantly.
This kind of person is so annoying that she can't help but want to destroy them.
"Song Zhiyu, what are you saying? Shu'er meant well. Besides, you weren't thrown out, were you?"
"Why can't you just pretend nothing happened and learn from Shu'er to be kinder and more generous?" Shen Yanxi shouted, losing his temper at the sight of Shen Jinshu's tears.
Song Zhiyu's eyes narrowed dangerously, her gaze chilling. "What outrageous things are you spouting?"
Yunxi pointed to the other burly men, "Oh, I forgot about you two. You caused trouble at Yushang Pavilion, and now you're playing the good guys, blaming the victims. You're shameless!"
"You lot, throw them out. And while you're at it, put up a sign at the door: 'Dogs and members of the Shen family are not allowed.'"
Shen Yanxi stared wide-eyed in disbelief, struggling frantically as he was restrained by several burly men, still shouting, "I am the fourth young master of the Marquis of Chengen's mansion! If you dare to offend me, your Yushang Pavilion will be shut down in the capital!"
"Then let's see if you have the ability." Yunxi smiled disdainfully, looking down on Shen Yanxi.
She had witnessed everything that happened downstairs from the private room. They were both his sisters, one was a treasure, and the other was a weed.
He cherished that hypocritical woman like a precious jewel, wishing he could give her his whole heart.
But towards Song Zhiyu, he either mocked her or deliberately made things difficult for her, not treating her like a younger sister at all.
If his master knew that his beloved younger sister was being treated with such contempt, he would probably want to tear Shen Yanxi to pieces.
The two were thrown out of the Feathered Robe Pavilion, looking disheveled.
Listening to the whispers and pointing fingers of the people around him, Shen Jinshu's face darkened, and a strong sense of humiliation welled up in his heart.
She was born into a noble family and grew up pampered by her parents and brothers. Because of her beautiful appearance and outstanding talent, she was loved by everyone.
Everywhere he went, he was met with praise.
But all of this changed after Song Zhiyu arrived. Her reputation was damaged, and now she has been thrown out of the Yushang Pavilion, losing all face.
