Chapter 28 Each Has His Own Thoughts
Before An Yan could say anything, Li Rongsen replied, "I disagree. I don't need a sister. Besides, An Yan already has a younger brother. Why would she want to recognize him as her brother?"
Mrs. Li did not comment on this. She thought that this matter could not be forced. Besides, whether to recognize a goddaughter was just a formality and there was no need to do so. Therefore, she did not say anything.
An Yan didn't want to get involved in their affairs and said, "I'm not familiar with Li Rongsen, nor with you. It's not appropriate to choose someone I don't know well to be my bridesmaid."

But Wang Lina got angry and stopped eating after a few bites. She felt that An Yan was too shameless, but she was unwilling to leave first.
Mrs. Li was also happy to see An Yan enjoying her meal. She took out a business card from her bag, placed it in front of her, and said, "Here, take this. When you have time, come over. I've ordered some fabric for you there and asked them to make you some clothes."
"No need, I have clothes to wear." An Yan turned it down.

An Yan didn't say anything. She looked at her watch and said, "It's getting late. It's time to go back."

"I'll take you there." Li Rongsen also stood up with An Yan.
"Let me go with you. She is a single girl, and you have a fiancée. People will gossip if they see you." Wang Lina said and walked out of the restaurant first.
An Yan was too lazy to argue with her. He went out with Li Rongsen and said, "The other reason I came to dinner today was to get medicine from you. I heard that the medicine I prescribed is with you."
"In the car." Li Rongsen said and motioned her to follow him.
Wang Lina got into the passenger seat of Li Rongsen's car before An Yan. She thought An Yan would sit in the back seat obediently, but she didn't. Instead, she walked out.
Li Rongsen did not get in the car either. He followed An Yan. The two of them got into Mrs. Li's car together. After a while, they saw the car drive away.
Wang Lina was extremely angry, but there was nothing she could do.
An Yan would of course guess that she was very angry, and said to Li Rongsen: "Why, have you made up your mind to abandon your fiancée?"
"Didn't you say she wasn't a good match for me? I'm increasingly convinced." Li Rongsen didn't hide anything from her. He looked at her again and asked, "Have anyone from the three major families come looking for you?"
"No." An Yan answered frankly.
"I'm afraid they'll cause trouble for you."

"Let's go to Wancaotang and do something." An Yan said.
Li Rongsen immediately told the driver to drive to Wancaotang first, and asked her, "What's going on there?"
"It's just a small thing." An Yan didn't tell him right away. It was not until she prepared a dose in Wancao Hall that she said to Li Rongsen, "This is for your mother. Thank her for the dinner tonight and for making me clothes."
"For facial cleanser?" Li Rongsen took it and smelled it. The fragrance was very pleasant.
"Just apply it once in the morning and once in the evening, and stop using other cosmetics." After saying this, An Yan left Wancaotang.
Li Rongsen saw that she didn't get in the car, so he chased after her and said, "I'll take you home, get in the car."
"No, I want to take a walk to digest the food." An Yan waved to him and then took a walk on the sidewalk. She felt that she had eaten too much for dinner, so she wanted to digest the food and then buy some fruit for her father and Yi Chen.
The street lights ahead were on, as if a group of people were arguing.
An Yan was about to walk around, but she found that someone almost bumped into her. He seemed surprised and turned around to look. It was a fair-skinned man with a bookish air.
I heard a few people in front of me say, "Why, is your girlfriend here to see you?"
"What do you want? Stop bullying me. No one forces a man to get married."
"It's your good fortune that our second young lady likes you. Why do you still want to live with a poor girlfriend? When the time comes, there will be food and drink, and you will be included." A tall man over there said.
"I just want to be with my girlfriend. I don't want to be a gigolo." He said this and was about to run away, but was held down by the men.
An Yan was not one to meddle in other people's business, but she heard the man shouting, "Help, help me, I won't go, I won't go, help! Can you help me call the police?"
