"No need. We are in a hurry and want to leave early." An Yan said to him.
"Then you two should wait a moment. Let me finish cooking. Otherwise, my wife will starve." The man was thinking of Chu Nu all the time. He looked towards the apricot forest and said to Chu Nu, "I'll build some houses under the apricot trees so you can enjoy the flowers from inside. What do you think?"
Chu Nu didn't say anything. She rolled her eyes and said, "Let's go. I'll go cook with you."
The man smiled when he heard this, put his arm around Chu's waist and went into the kitchen.
The Chu woman was picking vegetables at the other end of the small table. She looked at the man and saw him scooping up a bowl of soup and bringing it to her. He said, "Wife, you drink first."
"Put it down. I'll drink it later. Go get some firewood. The fire there is not very strong." Ms. Chu spoke to him kindly.
The man always disobeyed his wife and immediately walked out of the kitchen.
The Chu girl threw a wild vegetable in her hand into the bowl of soup in front of her. When she saw the man coming back, she said to him, "Hey, you bastard, come here. I just drank it and it tasted weird. Come and try it."
The man had no doubts. He immediately picked up the bowl, took a sip, and said, "It doesn't taste strange."
"You should drink it all before talking, otherwise how can you taste it? It seems like I'm lying to you." Chu Nu frowned, looking unhappy.

Chu Nu naturally denied it. She said, "What are you talking about? He accidentally ate something poisonous. What does it have to do with me?"
"I think it's likely that they wanted you to be poisoned, so that you would have a reason to follow us out." Yan Qingqiu sneered at her and said, "But, I have something to tell you. We just went to the front and saw that the strange forest is not that simple. Without him, we really can't get through."
"If you poison him now, we can't leave, and neither can you. And life will only get worse. I will make you do farm work." Mei Die also threatened her together with Yan Qingqiu.
Chu Nu was shocked and immediately let go of An Yan's wrist.
An Yan gave the man an acupuncture injection and signaled Yan Qingqiu to carry him to the bed in the room, and even Mei Die came to help.
