Chapter 58 Busy

Chapter 58 Busy

Mrs. Wang's sister, Zhang's mother, was naturally furious and was about to hit An Yan, but Li Rongsen grabbed her wrist and said, "Aunts, please calm down. It's not us who did anything wrong."

"We?" Madam Wang seized on his words and continued, "You and this mistress call us, so what do you and Lina call us? She's your own fiancée, you begged for her. No one forced you to do it. Have you forgotten?"

"You should go back and ask Wang Lina what she did before she teaches me a lesson." Li Rongsen's tone was extremely cold.

An Yan didn't care what the two ladies were angry about. She just said to Zhang Shen, "It was you who ordered the kidnapping of my family members, right?"

Zhang Shen narrowed his eyes and looked at An Yan, saying, "If you dare to touch me, you must be prepared to pay the price. Am I someone you can easily mess with? I haven't been here for nothing."

"Zhang Shen, the reputation you have built up is all fake. The title of the top painter in the painting world, the excellent painter, and your famous works are all stolen. You must know that, right?" An Yan asked him.

"What nonsense are you talking about!" Zhang Shen scolded her with gritted teeth.

"With your ability, you wouldn't be able to produce anything good even if you paint for a thousand years. Even after becoming famous, you refused to paint. You said you were dedicating yourself to education, but that's because you simply can't produce good works. Those works you had originally stolen from others and stamped with your own seal to claim them as your own." An Yan told him everything he knew.

Zhang's mother was about to go berserk. She glared at him and said, "You are completely ignorant of your own limitations. How dare you insult my son like this? Who do you think you are? Can you draw? Where did you get this hearsay from? How dare you speak so arrogantly here? Do you know your own worth?"

An Yan ignored her, but the woman was about to come up and hit her again.

Li Rongsen immediately called two people over and took the two aunts away.

Zhang Shen never knew where An Yan came from. He said to Li Rongsen, "Li Rongsen, don't be ungrateful. Don't forget that you are engaged to the Wang family and have connections with our Zhang family. But today you are helping a woman like this. Are you worthy of Lina?"

"Am I sorry that Wang Lina doesn't need you to worry about her?" Li Rongsen glanced at him.

An Yan continued, "You're afraid that the truth will be revealed, so you want to cripple his hands so that he can never paint again and can't expose you, right?"

"I don't know what you're talking about."

"It's okay if you pretend you can't remember. I'm just warning you to behave yourself and not cause trouble for him again."

"Who would believe what you said? No one would believe it."

"Did the doctor say that your right hand is useless?" An Yan asked him.

"I don't care." Zhang Shen didn't care at all whether he could paint or not, because he couldn't paint at all. This gave him an excuse, and he no longer had to deal with those who wanted him to continue painting.

An Yan smiled and said, "Your bones ache every time it rains. It hurts so much that you can't do anything at all. You can feel the pain first."

"Who do you think you are? Don't think I'll be scared just because you say that."

"The weather forecast says it will rain tomorrow, just wait and see." An Yan knew that he didn't believe it, but after he experienced it, he would understand what she was saying now.

Zhang Shen sneered.

An Yan signaled Li Rongsen that he could leave, and she walked out of the ward first.

I saw the two aunts outside were furious.

Madam Wang said, "Li Rongsen, you will get your comeuppance. For so many years, the Li family has benefited so much from the Wang family. We have always been devoted to you. How are you going to explain this to your grandfather? Have you thought about it?"

"Don't bother yourself." Li Rongsen said and left.

An Yan didn't get in Li Rongsen's car and said, "I'll take a taxi back."

"Let's go to my house for dinner first."

"I still have some things to do. I'll go after I finish them. You take care of my dad and my brother first." An Yan answered him and walked to the intersection outside to take a taxi.

Li Rongsen was confused and didn't understand what urgent matter she was going to deal with.

An Yan was lucky. A car drove over immediately and she got in and told him the address.

We soon arrived at our destination.

An Yan just pressed the doorbell, and saw someone coming to open the door. He said, "The master is waiting for you." Then he led her in.

"I thought you weren't coming today." said the old man in the wheelchair.

"I went to take care of some things, so I'm late. Let's start now." An Yan took out the gold needles from her bag, squatted in front of the old man, lifted his thin blanket, and started giving him acupuncture.

The old man could clearly feel the heat, then numbness, and then soreness. He seemed a little excited and said, "I can actually feel different sensations. You are really good."

"This is just the beginning. It will take a little bit of recovery. If you find that you can move, you should do some exercise to restore muscle strength." An Yan told him.

Ten minutes later, she put away the needle and said, "That's all for today. I'll come back in two days."

"I never thought you, at such a young age, could possess such remarkable medical skills," the old man exclaimed in admiration. He added, "My grandson is particularly interested in Chinese medicine and has always wanted to learn acupuncture, but he hasn't found a good teacher. I think you could be his teacher."

"I never thought of taking in an apprentice." An Yan told him the truth, then took out some medicine from her bag, handed it to him, and instructed, "Remember to take the medicine."

"I want to try to walk later." He couldn't wait any longer.

"Don't be too stubborn. More haste, less speed. Just wait a few days." An Yan advised him kindly.

The old man nodded and said, "I bought some jewelry for you. Come and pick out what you like."

"No need, I have to go first. My dad is waiting for me to eat." An Yan said and went back.

An Yan was right. If An Yan didn't come back, An Cheng would not eat by himself first, even at Li Rongsen's house.

Mrs. Li was also willing to accompany them to wait for An Yan, and she also got along well with An Yichen.

An Yan finally came over and said, "I'm so sorry to have kept you waiting for so long. You can eat first."

"It didn't take long to wait. Now is the right time." Mrs. Li gestured for An Yan to sit next to her.

They had just started eating when a man came in and said, "Madam, Master, the master asked me to come over and tell you something."

"We haven't visited him recently. How is his health?" Mrs. Li asked him respectfully.

The man said, "Master has been doing well recently. He has asked for something. He will have a dinner in a few days to discuss the marriage between Miss Wang Lina and Young Master Rong Sen."

"Why, Master wants them to get married?" asked Mrs. Li.

"That should be what it means. Miss Wang Lina came to see the master today." The man left after saying this.

Li Rongsen frowned. He felt that it would be troublesome if the old man intervened in this matter.
