Seeing him frowning in thought, Wen Jialiang took out his cell phone and personal belongings from the drawer and pushed them in front of him.
Then he got up and went to the window.
They are now completely on the defensive.
On one side is Fan Shenglun's demand for a thorough investigation into the truth behind Daniel's death; on the other is the Gu family, which has stood strong in Jiangzhou for many years; and in between is this complicated family that he has no right to interfere with...

After Huo Jingxi finished dressing, he put his things into the pockets of his work pants and looked at the puzzled Wen Jialiang with a playful expression.

The main street outside was bustling with people!
They received news of Huo Jingxi's release earlier and rushed to secure the best shooting positions.
When Huo Jingxi walked out with a trench coat over his shoulders, a cigarette dangling from his lips, the crowd surged.
"Mr. Huo, weren't you detained in the criminal investigation team? Why are you out of here?"

"What's the reason you were able to regain your freedom so quickly?"

Was Lu Yi involved?

A clear, melodious female voice squeezed through the crowd and stood in front of Huo Jingxi.
Her staff quickly held the microphone forward.
Huo Jingxi glanced at it and noticed the logo of "Jiangzhou TV Station." He reached out and took the microphone, saying loudly, "Whether Huo's Group goes public or not has nothing to do with anyone here."
The room fell silent after those words were spoken.
The female reporter's face instantly turned green.
It's like an answer, but it also seems like it didn't say anything at all...
Just as everyone was whispering and discussing, Du Guanglong shouted from the edge of the crowd, "Who dropped their USB drive?"
Whether they had fallen or not, everyone turned around in shock.
Taking advantage of the moment, Dongzi circled around behind Huo Jingxi, grabbed his arm, and pulled him out of the encirclement.
"Young Master Huo, Third Brother is waiting for you in the car!"
Huo Jingxi looked back at the huge crowd and asked, "Third brother, did you get things done?"
Dongzi didn't understand what level of "appropriate" she meant.
He called out to his brothers, telling them to cover the rear, then hesitated and said, "It hasn't been listed yet, but Third Brother really did his best!"
As he spoke, Dongzi felt a pang of sympathy for Lu Yi.
If it weren't for his youth, Lu Yi would probably have collapsed long ago.
What is being listed?
Finally, it was Huo Jingxi's turn to frown.
Turning his head, he saw Lu Yi's face appear in the car window, and waved his hand, "Never mind, I'll ask him myself!"
The reason for giving Lu Yi that list was to eliminate them one by one and find the most suspicious mastermind behind it all.
What does this have to do with going public?
Dongzi, unaware of what he had said wrong, grabbed his hair and asked Du Guanglong, who had caught up with him, "Brother, what did I say wrong?"
Du Guanglong gently patted his head with his large hand, glancing warily behind him.

Wen Jialiang did not answer.

He picked up the coat hanging on the wall and shoved Old Ma!
"What are you looking at? Aren't you hungry?"
Old Ma realized what the leader was avoiding, thought for a moment, and followed him with his head down.

Huo Jingxi took a shower, put on his bathrobe, and lay down on the sofa.
