Chapter 105 Investigating the Undercover Agent~

He gently embraced my slender waist and held me tightly in his arms.

"Sui Sui! I'm really okay! You must believe in your husband!" His voice was deep and gentle.

I looked up, my gaze as gentle as still water as I looked at him.

She asked softly, "Aren't you going to eat for me anymore?"

"Not yet~" He pouted slightly.

I smiled slightly and reached out to take out an exquisitely crafted lunchbox from beside me.

The food inside this lunchbox has a faint aroma.

"Look, I brought you some food I made myself and some fresh fruit. You must eat more!"

As I spoke, I carefully opened the lunchbox and placed the delicious-looking and fragrant food inside onto the table.

His eyes lit up instantly, sparkling with surprise and anticipation: "Wow, my wife is so thoughtful!"

But... Sui Sui, would you feed me? His tone carried a subtle hint of coquetry.

Without saying a word, he pulled me onto his lap and wrapped his arms around my waist.

"Okay!" I replied, blushing, then picked up my chopsticks, took a piece of food, and brought it to his mouth.

He opened his mouth, chewed slowly, and then swallowed.

Just then, he suddenly leaned in and kissed my cheek. The gentle touch felt like a feather brushing against my skin, making my heart race.

"Sui Sui's cooking is really delicious!"

We looked at each other and smiled, our faces beaming with happiness and sweetness...

"It's delicious, eat more!"

"Okay!" He nodded and began to savor the food in front of him, taking small bites.

Just as we were immersed in this warm and sweet moment, his phone suddenly rang.

He frowned, looked at me apologetically, and said, "Sui Sui, I'm sorry, there's an urgent meeting at the company that I need to attend. You wait here patiently for me, and we'll go home together tonight after I'm done!"

After saying that, he reached out and gently stroked my hair, then picked up the documents on the table, stood up, and strode towards the door.

"Okay!" I smiled and waved to him, watching his departing figure disappear through the doorway.

He walked with steady, powerful steps through the long corridor to the next-door conference room.

With a gentle push, the door opened, revealing Assistant Li busily organizing documents.

He walked up to Assistant Li, looking down at him with icy eyes.

"This is evidence of Qin Shisheng's involvement in organized crime. You need to do three things immediately. First, send a copy to the police station; second, anonymously send two more copies; and finally, make hundreds of copies and throw them off the top floor of the hotel so that the entire city of Shengcheng can see this dirty evidence!"

Assistant Li dared not delay in the slightest and quickly replied, "Yes, Mr. Jin! I guarantee the mission will be accomplished!"

He nodded slightly, as if he had thought of something, and suddenly asked, "By the way! How is Yao Qian's brother?"

Assistant Li looked troubled and hesitated for a moment before answering, "They were severely beaten by Qin Shisheng's men and then locked up. I... our men didn't have time to take any photos at the time, and now Qin Shisheng is keeping a very close eye on them."

Upon hearing this, Jin Buwei frowned slightly and nodded thoughtfully, but quickly regained his cold expression and said, "Hmm! I understand! But the most important thing right now is to finish this matter at hand!"

Assistant Li replied respectfully again, "Yes, Mr. Jin!"

Jin Buwei thought to himself that once these documents were successfully disseminated, even if Qin Shisheng managed to escape unscathed, he would definitely suffer a huge loss and would not bother him for a while.

He'll be able to catch his breath, and once he gets the Qin family's tax information, secures the "Oriental No. 1" project, and gains the support of the Beijing elite, a change in the North won't be far off.

After all, he couldn't just let those two punches he took go unpunished.

News about the Qin family's involvement in organized crime is flying everywhere.

At this moment, Qin Shisheng was sitting quietly at his desk, a cigarette that was already half-burned in his hand. Amidst the swirling smoke, his already cold and stern face appeared even more gloomy.

Suddenly, he let out a cold laugh, breaking the long silence in the room: "Who would have inside information about us over the past two years?"

Standing to the side, Lin Zhibai quickly replied, "In my opinion, there must be a mole within our ranks."

Upon hearing this, Qin Shisheng slammed his hand on the table, stood up, and roared at Lin Zhibai, "Last time I told you to investigate the undercover agents around you, and what happened? Where did you even begin to find out?"

Lin Zhibai broke out in a cold sweat, but still managed to remain calm as he replied, "Brother Qin, we really don't have any spies around us anymore. I can guarantee that with my life. It absolutely couldn't have been one of our men who did it!"

Qin Shisheng narrowed his eyes, staring at Lin Zhibai with a gaze as sharp as a knife, and asked coldly, "So, according to you, who do you think this undercover agent is?"

After pondering for a moment, Lin Zhibai said, "Most of the things involved in these documents happened in the early days. The brothers who fought alongside us back then were brothers who had risked their lives for us. They would never betray us easily!"

"If that's the case, then give me a reasonable explanation as to how the information was leaked?" Qin Shisheng pressed on relentlessly, giving Lin Zhibai no chance to catch his breath.

"Please rest assured, President Qin, I will investigate and find out who this undercover agent is as soon as possible," Lin Zhibai replied firmly, bowing slightly to Qin Shisheng to show his determination.
