Chapter 172 Wang Yijin 4

After finally coming to my senses,

I discovered that my phone had been smashed to pieces in the chaos, the screen was completely shattered, and it was no longer usable.

Not only that, but due to the strong impact and tumbling, I was also dizzy and seeing stars. I felt like the whole world was spinning and I was completely confused.

Sudden,

I noticed a bright red stain on my hand—it was blood!

I was so frightened that I screamed, "Blood..."

Upon hearing my cries, Wang Yijin disregarded his own condition and hurriedly walked to my side to help me up.

With a concerned look, he asked, "How are you? Are you alright?"

Before I could answer, he added, "Don't worry, this blood isn't yours, it's mine."

After saying that, he casually took out a piece of paper from his pocket and wiped the blood flowing from my hand.

I struggled to lift my head and look at him, only then noticing that he had bumped his head and scraped it open, with blood slowly trickling down his cheek.

Even so, he was still only concerned with wiping the blood off my hands with paper.

"Look, you're alright! It's my blood!"

"Don't worry about me, let me treat your wound first."

After calming myself down, I quickly rummaged through my backpack and found some disinfectant wipes, then carefully cleaned Wang Yijin's wound.

After I finished dealing with it, I got angrier and angrier, and I snapped at him, "You...did you do that on purpose?"

He laughed awkwardly. "I wanted to hug you... but I really lost my balance."

I asked anxiously, "What should we do now?"

He calmly reached into his pocket, rummaged around for a moment, then pulled out his phone and quickly dialed his assistant's number.

He gave a few brief instructions over the phone and then hung up.

A reassuring smile appeared on his face as he said, "Don't worry, my assistant will be here soon to rescue us."

After he finished speaking, he slowly walked to my side and sat down next to me.

"Oh dear, I didn't mean to get us into this mess! Please don't be mad at me!"

He explained, and even reached out and gently patted my shoulder, as if trying to soothe my emotions.

However, I couldn't listen to any of that at the time, and my heart was still full of dissatisfaction.

So I suddenly stood up, intending to get away from him.

Ignore him.

But I didn't expect that because I had been sitting still for a long time, my legs were already numb. As soon as I stood up, I staggered and my body involuntarily leaned forward.

At that critical moment, he swiftly reached out and pulled me into a tight embrace.

"Hehe, you clearly threw yourself at me!" he teased with a hint of sarcasm.

"I... I just had numb legs!" I argued, my face flushed, as I struggled to break free from his embrace.

But he showed no sign of letting go. Instead, he squatted down and helped me take off my shoes, then gently massaged my feet with both hands.

I was stunned by his intimate gesture and froze on the spot.

Because such behavior is far too intimate...

"How are you feeling? Are you feeling any better?" After a while, he looked up at me, his eyes full of concern.

"Yes, much better! Thank you!"

I snapped out of my daze and hurriedly replied.

Then, I used all my strength to break free from his warm embrace and quickly stood a little further away from him.

Just then, he said with a gentle smile, "Actually, when I was little, my feet would go numb, and my mom would massage them like this for me!"

"..."
