"Look, it's just the two of us here. Come here, let me let you lean against me and rest for a while," he said softly, as he slowly placed the heavy backpack on the ground beside him.
I obediently walked over and sat down beside him, examining his wounds again with concern and care, fearing that they might worsen.
"Do you still feel dizzy?" I asked with some concern.
"Not dizzy at all! Don't worry." He answered crisply, as if he didn't want me to worry too much.
"When will your assistant be able to get here?"
"Hmm... I guess we'll have to wait until tomorrow morning."
"What? We have to wait until tomorrow?" I was surprised when I heard this news.
However, a faint smile appeared on his lips as he continued to explain to himself: "Actually, I told my assistant to pick us up again tomorrow morning because I wanted to have some time alone with him."
"But you're already injured, how can you wait until tomorrow morning to have someone come and help treat it? What if the wound gets infected?"
Faced with his reckless behavior that disregarded his own safety, I couldn't help but rebuke him.
But he still didn't respond to my words, he just smiled and gazed at me tenderly.
He kept pouring out his heartfelt feelings: "I like you! This liking is sincere and comes from the bottom of my heart!"
Although I know you may not be able to accept me right now, it won't affect my feelings for you... My biggest wish is to be closer to you.

Then, as if he had discovered something new and exciting, he excitedly pointed to the sky and shouted, "Look! How beautiful the stars are!"
But I had no interest in appreciating the starry sky; all I could think about was urging him to contact his assistant immediately: "Stop talking nonsense and call your assistant right now!"
"I don't want to!" He simply turned his head away and ignored me.
Left with no other option, I reached out to try and snatch the phone from his hand, but he was quick to notice my intention.
He quickly hid his phone behind his back, gazed at me with a slightly sad look, and asked softly, "Can we stay together a little longer?"
Faced with his sudden request, I blurted out without thinking, "No!"
Upon hearing my answer, his previously raised eyebrows instantly twitched, and a hint of annoyance flashed across his face.
Then, without hesitation, he threw his phone away violently...
"What are you doing?"
"I'll cut off your hopes!"
"You... shameless scoundrel!"
"That's just how I am, because I like you!"
"Did you dig this pit beforehand?"
"No way! If I'd known, I wouldn't have dug a hole, I'd have dug a bed instead!"
"..." I cursed him silently in my heart.
As darkness fell completely, I listened to the chirping of insects and birds in the jungle.
She unconsciously wrapped her arms around his.
"I'm tired, aren't you tired?"
"Then lean on me and sleep for a while. We'll go out tomorrow morning."
"I want to go out now."
He put his arm around my waist. "Don't be afraid! I'm here! We can get out tomorrow morning!"
"Doesn't someone need to wake up?"
"I'll stay here, you go to sleep!"

The next morning, sunlight filtered through the gaps in the leaves, casting dappled shadows.
His subordinates found us and successfully rescued us from our predicament.
"You should really go to the hospital to get your head checked! I've finally made it this far, and all I want to do now is go up and see my brother!"

"Your wound will get infected if you leave it untreated, so you should go see a doctor first." I gently reassured him, hoping to put his mind at ease so he could leave.
