I bit my lower lip tightly, trying hard not to cry out, but my body trembled slightly from extreme anger and grievance.
Seeing this, he actually picked up a tissue and gently wiped away the tears from the corners of my eyes.
I forcefully pushed away his approaching hand, snatched the tissue, and stubbornly wiped away the tears that kept falling.
"Get out! I need to rest!" I yelled at him, hoping he would leave my sight immediately.
His eyes flickered.
He slowly loosened his grip on me, a wicked smile curling at the corner of his mouth.
Then, when I was completely unprepared,
He suddenly leaned down and pressed me down on the sofa, kissing my lips, cheeks, and neck passionately.
"Didn't you say you didn't like me? Then I'll make you completely mine!" he murmured to himself as he passionately kissed me.
I was so frightened by his sudden action that I could only burst into tears, which dripped onto the sofa.
My heart was filled with despair, as if the whole world had collapsed at that moment.
Seeing my reluctant reaction, his long eyelashes fell, obscuring the disappointed light in his eyes.
He slowly stopped and pulled me into his arms to comfort me.
"Oh dear, don't cry, I was a little impulsive!"
My voice choked with emotion as I growled, "Get out! Get out of here!"
His expression held a hint of displeasure, and his voice was full of warning.
"You can leave, but I don't want to hear you say you don't like me in the future, otherwise I definitely won't be able to control myself next time."
I didn't look at him; I just sobbed in the corner.
I'll come find you again tomorrow!
Suddenly, a dull slam of a door closing echoed throughout the space.
With trembling hands, I tightened the door lock, making sure there wasn't a single gap for anyone outside to break in.
Then, as if losing her support, she slowly leaned against the wall, her body sliding down limply until she finally collapsed to the ground, tears streaming uncontrollably down her face.
Clutching the phone tightly in his hand, the screen displayed that name that was all too familiar—Zhibai.
My finger hovered over the dial button several times, but each time it seemed to be stopped by an invisible force.
I was afraid of implicating him because of myself, and even more afraid of causing him unnecessary trouble and danger.
I don't know how much time passed, but it seemed that all the tears had been shed, leaving only tear stains on my face and swollen, red eyes.
I struggled to my feet, staggered to the bathroom, turned on the tap, and splashed the cold water on my face, trying to clear my head.
Looking at myself in the mirror, I took a deep breath and silently told myself that I must calm down and that I would definitely find a way out of this predicament.
After regaining my senses, I quickly picked up the backpack that was placed to the side and began to pack my important items in an orderly manner.
I changed into all black clothes so I could blend into the night and not attract attention.
I walked to the window, carefully pushed it open, and looked out. I saw two or three figures loitering around suspiciously.
It's obvious without much thought that these are people sent by Wang Yijin to monitor me.
Various escape plans raced through his mind, and suddenly a bold plan came to mind.
Without hesitation, I lit a fire.
The fire spread rapidly, and thick smoke billowed out through the cracks in the door.
Upon seeing this, the suspicious men's expressions changed drastically, and they immediately rushed towards my room without regard for anything else.
Taking advantage of the opportunity, I nimbly jumped out of the window and ran wildly in the opposite direction from them.
He took out his phone and sent a short message to Lin Zhibai: "Wang Yijin spotted me. I'm going to hide first. I'll tell you when I've calmed down!" After sending the message, he put his phone on silent mode and put it in his backpack.
I hurried all the way and finally arrived at the train station, where I bought a ticket to a coastal city.
As the train started moving, I relaxed a little, but I still dared not let my guard down.
Upon arrival at our destination, we didn't have time to appreciate the scenery of this unfamiliar city. We rushed to the pier and just caught a cruise ship that was about to depart.
Without hesitation, I stepped onto the deck, blended into the crowd, and prayed that I could escape Wang Yijin safely.
It is a cruise ship bound for Yantai and Hong Kong.
I sent another message to Lin Zhibai.
"I escaped, I'm safe, my destination is Hong Kong!"
Lin Zhibai replied, "Okay."
I think it might be Qin Shisheng.
Otherwise, he would definitely have called me back.
I stayed in a standard room, and every day when I opened the window I could see the surging sea, with the waves rolling gently.
I put on a light pink dress and went to the ship's deck to take pictures.
I couldn't help but marvel at how beautiful the sea was! My mood instantly brightened.
The cell phone rang.
"Qianqian, are you safe now?"
"I escaped, I'm safe!"
Lin Zhibai's voice sounded tired.
“I just finished negotiating a big project, and Brother Qin promised to let me leave once the project is completed, which brings us one step closer.”
"Okay! Don't overwork yourself! Get some rest! I'll send you my location when I get to Hong Kong."
"Okay!" Lin Zhibai hung up the phone.
As the massive cruise ship slowly approached the Yantai dock, a group of elegantly dressed and poised individuals boarded the luxurious vessel with graceful steps.
As time went on, more and more people boarded the ship, and the originally spacious deck gradually became bustling with activity.
Faced with this lively and extraordinary scene,
I have absolutely no interest in joining in this fun.
