I pulled my hand back with all my might.
And I couldn't help but let out a loud sneeze.
However, he forced that thick coat onto me again.
“Come to my place, take a nice hot shower first. I have so much to tell you…” He stared intently at me, his eyes filled with deep affection.
I couldn't help but furrow my brow slightly.
"Who are you to me? What is our relationship?"
Faced with my questioning, a fleeting, barely concealed sadness crossed his eyes, but he quickly regained his composure, his lips moving slightly: "I..."
He had only uttered one word when I rudely interrupted him.
"Enough! Get out of my way!" I shouted angrily, shoving him aside with all my might, and then walked quickly toward my lodging without looking back.
He followed me like a ghost, and no matter how fast I quickened my pace, I couldn't shake off this strange guy.
Finally back at my lodgings.
I slammed the door shut, hoping to shut out that unsettling figure.
Just then, footsteps sounded behind them; it was Liu Meng walking over.
He respectfully said to the man, "Mr. Jin, as you requested, we have found three women who look similar to the ones in the photos. Would you like us to bring them over for you to see now?"
Jin Buhuan waved his hand impatiently and replied coldly, "No need! Just give him some money and send him away!"
"Yes, Mr. Jin!" Liu Meng quickly nodded respectfully in response.
Immediately afterward, as if remembering something, Jin Buhuan turned to Liu Meng and ordered in a serious tone, "Also, go and find out immediately who this woman has been in contact with recently!"
"Yes!" Liu Meng then turned and left quickly.
I couldn't wait to rush into the bathroom, turn on the shower, and let the scalding hot water wash over my body.
After taking a shower, I changed into clean and tidy clothes, and then slowly walked to the sofa in the living room and sat down.
My thoughts, however, ran wildly in all directions, completely out of control.
The events that had just occurred kept replaying in my mind—my identity had finally been exposed.
