Chapter 181 Paradise

I sent the voice recording of my conversation with Wang Yijin to Lin Zhibai's new number and left a message telling him to be careful.

Shortly after, the phone screen lit up, displaying his reply: "OK, be careful too!"

Seeing those words made me feel much more at ease.

He quickly replied, "Don't worry!"

At this point, I felt I had eaten enough, so I turned to look at Wang Yijin sitting opposite me and suggested with a smile, "How about we get to know each other better and go swimming together later?"

Wang Yijin stared into my eyes, and seeing the change in my attitude, a smile appeared at the corner of his eye. He nodded gently and replied, "Okay."

Then, I got up and went to the changing room to change into my swimsuit.

After some searching, I chose a conservative white swimsuit.

As I stepped out of the locker room, fully dressed, a familiar figure suddenly blocked my way—it was Kim Bu-hwan.

He stared at me with a serious expression and questioned, "Are you really with Wang Yijin?"

I met his gaze without flinching and responded coldly.

"Mr. Jin, you don't need to worry about my affairs!"

However, he ignored what I said and instead held my fair arm tightly, refusing to let go.

“Did he threaten you? Tell me what’s wrong, I can help you! You absolutely can’t be with him, he…” Jin Buhuan said urgently.

"Get me a yacht, I need to leave!"

Then, she pushed him hard, breaking free from his grasp, and retorted loudly, "He's not a good person, so are you the so-called perfect match?"

Jin Buhuan not only didn't let go, but held on even tighter.

He nodded at me.

Just then, Wang Yijin happened to walk over.

Seeing this, without saying a word, he stepped forward and shoved Jin Buhuan hard, shouting angrily, "Let her go!"

His bright eyes flashed with anger. "Who gave you permission to touch my woman!"

Jin Buhuan didn't confront him. He slowly released me and glared at him.

The sun shone brightly on the edge of the swimming pool, and the light blue water shimmered.

Like a nimble fish, I swiftly and agilely leaped into the crystal-clear pool.

The moment it entered the water, water splashed everywhere, like a blooming white lotus.

Immediately afterwards, I swung my arms powerfully like oars, kicked my legs alternately, and swam forward as fast as an arrow.

Looking back on my university days, I was one of the best swimmers in the school, consistently ranking among the top three!

Wang Yijin followed closely behind me, trying his best to catch up, but no matter how hard he tried, he could not shorten the distance between us.

Seeing this, I was secretly delighted and deliberately sped up, wanting to leave him far behind so that he couldn't even see my shadow.

So I sped away through the water.

Before long, I reached the end of the pool.

It was relatively quiet here, so I leaned against the pool wall to rest for a while, waiting for Wang Yijin to arrive.

Time passed second by second, and finally, a blurry figure appeared in the distance, slowly approaching me.

Yes, it was Wang Yijin. He was panting heavily, clearly exhausted.

Just as he was about to get close to me,

I suddenly turned around, exerted my strength again, and swam towards the other end of the pool.

He was left standing there dumbfounded, then shouted angrily, "Wait for me!"

However, I completely ignored his shouts and instead laughed and teased him, "You're too slow! Your stamina is really lacking!"

"Oh dear, I'm so thirsty! Go get some water, you rest here for a while!"

With that, I swam away at lightning speed.

Wang Yijin's angry roar came from behind: "Yao Qian, did you do this on purpose?"

I turned around in the water and saw his disheveled appearance, so I couldn't help but laugh even harder. I replied, "Look at what you're saying, there was no intention at all! More exercise is good for your health, you'd better work harder!"

And so began a fierce tug-of-war between us. Every time he was about to catch up with me, I would cleverly create a distance of about 100 meters.

This went on and on, and although Wang Yijin was so angry he wanted to stomp his feet, he couldn't do anything about it.

My laughter and the splashing of water echoed throughout the pool...

I quickly jumped into the water, swam to the middle of the pool, and floated up and down.

"I'll wait for you on the shore!" Wang Yijin looked at my back and knew in his heart that I just wanted to get away from him.

He was so angry that he plopped down on the shore, muttering to himself and sulking.

However, just as he was keeping quiet, he suddenly turned his head and found that Jin Buhuan was standing not far away, laughing at him. His smile seemed to be full of mockery.

This scene was like adding fuel to the fire, instantly igniting the raging anger in Wang Yijin's heart. He was so angry that he trembled all over, stood up abruptly, and turned to walk towards the bedroom.

Meanwhile, I was swimming freely in the crystal-clear lake, feeling exceptionally relaxed.

As I swam, I felt like a joyful fish, swimming more and more happily, completely immersed in this cool world.

As Jin Buhuan watched Wang Yijin storm off the shore, he shouted to me, who was still playing in the water, "Swim back! He's gone!"
