Chapter 208 Two-year term~

Kim Bu-hwan's luxury car was parked quietly at the entrance.

As I approached, the driver respectfully opened the car door.

I got into the car without hesitation.

The car was filled with a faint scent of Hermès perfume.

"I actually found out about your medicine purchase records a long time ago." Kim Bu-hwan's voice broke the brief silence.

Then she added, "I also guessed that Qin Shisheng would give up this time... so I wanted to come and pick you up!"

Kim Bu-hwan turned to look at me, his eyes revealing tenderness.

He continued, "Don't take any more medicine, it breaks my heart to see you like this!"

I took a deep breath and slowly said, "No, I want to go and pay my respects to Little Flower."

Kim Bu-hwan quickly nodded.

The car drove smoothly on the road and soon arrived at Xiaohua's grave.

This place is peaceful and serene, surrounded by green trees.

A gentle breeze rustled the leaves.

I walked gently to Xiaohua's tombstone and carefully placed the flowers I had chosen in my hand.

Looking at Xiaohua's innocent and smiling face in the photo, my thoughts drifted back to the past. Back then, she was always full of energy, her smile as bright as the sun. Now, that most beautiful moment can only be frozen in time forever.

After standing silently in front of the grave for a while,

I turned around and got back into Kim Bu-hwan's car.

He had just sat down when he suddenly reached out his hand.

She held my two soft, white hands tightly.

His gaze was fixed on me, his eyes full of expectation.

What are your plans for the future?

"Come back abroad with me?"

I quickly pulled my hand away from his palm.

"I plan to find a job and work hard to live the rest of my life well!" I lowered my eyes, not daring to meet his gaze.

Kim Bu-hwan was clearly disappointed, but he didn't give up trying to persuade him: "I can help you find other, better jobs. Besides, I've built a huge building specifically for you, and I really hope you'll come and help me manage it, okay?"

I looked up, my long eyelashes trembling slightly, and said softly, "No, it's over between us. We can never go back to the way things were. I hope you understand that."

I turned my head to look out the window again, refusing to look at him once more.

"I have indeed forgiven you! But we can only be friends! I am very grateful for your help, and I can only accept continuing to be friends with you."

"Perhaps you're just unwilling to accept it now, after all, you didn't cherish us much when we were in love, but there's no need to dwell on it now..."

"Please take me back to my new rented apartment! Thank you!" My voice betrayed a hint of exhaustion.

Finally, the car stopped downstairs.

I opened the car door and got out with somewhat heavy steps.

Back in my room, dragging my weary body...

I slowly walked back to my bedroom.

However, before I could even catch my breath,

The phone on the table suddenly started ringing incessantly, as if it were going crazy.

I frowned, picked up my phone, and saw an unfamiliar number on the screen.

After hesitating for a moment, I pressed the answer button.

"Is this Yao Qian? This is Qin Shan!" came an anxious voice from the other end of the phone.

I asked, puzzled.

"Yes, I'm Yao Qian. What can I do for you?"

"Could you come to Night in the Human World? Brother Qin has been drinking all afternoon and is still crying and laughing wildly. I'm afraid something might happen to him. Could you come and help me talk to him?"

"I'm begging you, I've asked Jiang Zhou to drive and pick you up, please help me this once, okay?" Qin Shan's tone was full of pleading.

Upon hearing this, I couldn't help but fall into deep thought.

After a long silence, I sighed softly, "Okay, I understand. I'll try to persuade him."

Not long after I hung up the phone, a black sedan pulled up downstairs.

I straightened my clothes, went downstairs, and got into the car.

The car soon arrived at the Nightfall Human World.

I took a deep breath and stepped into the elevator with firm strides.

As the elevator doors slowly closed, my thoughts involuntarily drifted back to a few years ago.

At that time, Qin Shisheng held me tightly and we kissed passionately in that small space. That scene is still vivid in my mind.

When the elevator reached the designated floor, a "ding" interrupted my reverie.

I composed myself and walked toward the luxurious VIP room where Qin Shisheng was.

The moment I pushed open the door, a bottle suddenly flew towards me and smashed heavily against the wall behind me, startling me so much that I took a step back.

"Get the hell out of here! Nobody is allowed in!" Qin Shisheng's angry roar echoed from the room.

I strode over and snatched the bottle from his hand.

"What? Didn't you say you wouldn't bother me anymore? Can't you afford to lose? Can't you live without me?"

His narrow eyes narrowed slightly, revealing surprise.

"Little fairy! It's you!"

He raised his eyebrows, lowered his head, and smiled happily. The joy of regaining a beloved possession, which had been lost and found, was evident on his face.

He took the bottle and poured me a glass.

"Have a drink with me!"

"I dare not drink your wine!"

He got up, put his arm around my waist, and let me fall into his arms.

I could smell the strong scent of red wine on him.

"I gave you the medicine in the water because I was worried about you! I was afraid you would get sick! I really care about you so much."

As soon as I said I wouldn't bother with you anymore, I immediately regretted it! My heart is full of you!

I'm willing to spend the rest of my life as your most loyal hound, please don't abandon me, okay?
