Chapter 209 Opening Your Heart

I decided to go to an orphanage near my home and successfully found a volunteer job.

From that day on

My life has become fulfilling and joyful.

Every day, I would arrive at the orphanage early to spend time with the lovely children.

In the morning, I patiently teach them to read, recognize characters, and write. Seeing them studying so diligently fills me with joy.

During the afternoon break,

I will transform into a dance teacher, instructing these children to dance joyful folk dances.

Whenever the music plays, the children dance along with my movements, their innocent smiles seemingly able to dispel all the gloom in the world.

On this day, sunlight streamed through the windows and fell on the classroom floor, creating dappled patterns of light and shadow.

I wore a long, snow-white dress and danced gracefully, like a beautiful white swan.

Just as I was concentrating on teaching the children to dance, I suddenly heard a burst of enthusiastic applause from the classroom.

I looked up curiously and saw Kim Bu-hwan standing quietly below, watching me with a smile.

He was dressed in a sharp suit, looking elegant and handsome, and his unique temperament made him stand out in the crowd.

I smiled gently at the children and said softly, "Sweethearts, take a rest for a while!"

Then, I walked gracefully toward Kim Bu-hwan.

Kim Bu-hwan's lips curled up slightly.

"Qianqian, how have you been lately?"

A faint smile graced my face.

"It's great! I've completely let go of the unpleasant experiences I had in the past, and I'm no longer as resistant to dancing as I used to be."

A hint of tenderness appeared in Kim Bu-hwan's eyes as he sincerely exclaimed, "It is truly an honor to see your beautiful and moving dance again!"

I raised my eyebrows playfully and asked with a smile, "You didn't come here just to compliment me, did you?"

Kim Bu-hwan said with a slight smile, "Of course not. I wonder if I would have the honor of inviting you to dinner tonight?"

"I won't go, thank you! I appreciate your kind offer," I politely declined.

Then he turned around and prepared to leave.

However, just as I took a step, a hand suddenly grabbed my wrist.

I stopped and looked back, only to find that it was he who was holding my wrist tightly, preventing me from leaving easily.

Jin Buhuan stared straight at me, his eyes filled with earnestness.

"Come with me! I'm going back abroad tomorrow, and I'll be focusing my work there from now on. Once I leave, I might never come back." His voice seemed to contain endless emotion.

Hearing his words, I couldn't help but feel a ripple in my heart.

I gazed quietly at his familiar yet unfamiliar face, hesitated for a moment, and finally nodded gently: "Okay! But I need to go back and change my clothes first."

......

Before long, we arrived at an elegant Western restaurant. The interior was exquisitely decorated and decorated in a very warm and romantic style.

The soft candlelight flickered on the table, illuminating the white tablecloth and creating a sense of tranquility and peace.

When I sat down at the table,

To my surprise, all the dishes on the table were my favorite foods.

At that moment, I involuntarily forced a slightly strained smile onto my lips.

"So many years have passed, I never expected you would still remember my preferences!" I said with a touch of emotion.

"I will always remember." He smiled slightly, his tone as gentle as water.

Then, with graceful movements, he picked up a bottle of red wine and slowly poured me a glass.

At that moment, a beautiful classical piece of music was playing in the restaurant, its melodious tune echoing in the air.

The dim lighting creates an ambiguous and dreamy atmosphere, making people unable to help but be captivated by it.

His deep pupils shimmered with a faint, eerie light.

"Actually, I've known for a long time that you can't let go of our past, especially when I saw those shocking words you wrote in blood in front of that tombstone, I understood everything."

He paused, then continued, "So, you already knew back then that the person who died wasn't the real me, right?"

I nodded slightly in agreement.

Although many years have passed, my heart still aches whenever I recall that painful past. It is a memory that is deeply buried in my heart and I do not want to touch it again.

"You expressed your dissatisfaction with me with blood, even knowing I wasn't dead, you were still so resolute. So you must hate me terribly, maybe even more than you hate Qin Shisheng. You hate me for abandoning you when you loved me the most!"

"But I have my reasons... I..."

A cold smile played on my lips, and tears welled in my eyes.

"Stop talking... I won't!"

Jin Buhuan's long eyelashes concealed the loneliness in her eyes.

"You are my only woman. I admit I'm worse than a beast. I abandoned you with my own hands."

But I'm standing here, filled with immense regret. I hope you can come back to the country with me. I'll treat you well, please believe me?

Sadness was evident in my eyes, and tears welled up in my eyes.

"Sometimes, I can close my eyes and go back to the days when you abandoned me. That small figure, her eyes filled with despair, stood in the wind and rain, telling me now, I can't forgive you! Never!"
