Taking advantage of the opportunity, he quickly ran over, grabbed my wrist tightly, and led me away from the crowd.
"Let's go!" he shouted, turning back to check the situation behind him.
I turned my head and gazed at his incredibly handsome profile, and my heart skipped a beat. His exquisite face, with every line perfectly proportioned, exuded a captivating charm.
Soon, we arrived at the car.
He yanked open the car door, shoved me inside, then quickly got in himself and slammed the door shut.
Almost simultaneously, the driver stepped on the gas, and the car sped off.
"Are you alright?" He looked at me with concern, his eyes full of worry.
"It's alright, thank you!" I said gratefully, gently pulling my arm out of his wrist.
He frowned and asked in confusion, "How did you end up getting involved with a bunch of thugs?"
I lowered my head, my mind racing as I considered the cause and effect of the matter.
After a while, he slowly spoke: "It should be Qin Shisheng's other lovers' revenge on me... probably that woman named Li Jing from last time."
"It must be hard being his woman, right? Why don't you consider me?" His eyebrows curved into a gentle smile.
I replied casually, with a self-deprecating laugh, "If Qin Shisheng agrees, I agree too!"
"I'll make him agree!" He had a shallow dimple on his cheek and reached out to pat my head.
I flinched as if startled.
I really dislike this gesture because Qin Shisheng always touches my head like that, as if I were his pet.
His hand hung there awkwardly, then he gave a helpless smile.
I tried to ease the tension. "Anyway, thank you so much for today!"
"Hmm, you owe me another favor."
I said softly, "I know, I'll pay you back when I have the chance!"
He was about to say something when his phone rang.
"Yes! I just rescued her, I'll take her back to the Qin family now!" His tone remained gentle.
Looking at his handsome face and gentle personality, I couldn't help but think that if I really followed him, it might be much better than Qin Shisheng!
I immediately shook my head. What am I thinking? What I want is freedom!
He hung up the phone. "Master Qin came to me for you! Looks like he still cares about you! Getting him to send you here might be a bit of a hassle!"
"Heh!" I thought to myself. He probably wouldn't let me off easily right now, but I could also make him feel disgusted with me.
He quickly took me back to the Qin family.
Before getting out of the car, he leaned close to my ear and whispered, "Miss Yao, guard your heart! You must save it for me in the end!"
I glanced back at him, then turned and got out of the car. He seemed completely bewildered by what he said!
Jiang Zhou rushed over and asked with concern, "Miss Yao, are you alright? President Qin is almost frantic with worry!"
"It's alright!" I replied softly.
Upon entering the Qin family home, I saw Qin Shisheng leisurely drinking tea in the living room.
Is he frantic? Nobody would believe that! His anxious demeanor is truly unique.
Qin Shisheng asked in an icy tone, "Do you know Jin Buwei?"
I explained, "We don't really know each other."
"How many times have we met?"
"We've met four times, but we're not familiar with each other at all!" I quickly explained.
His brow furrowed. "Which four times?"
"I first met you after I ran away from your house, then I met you twice at parties, and then today!" I said, recalling carefully.
His eyes were like those of a hawk, fixed on me, as if considering the credibility of my words!
I was completely helpless!
At this moment, Jiang Zhou walked over and whispered in his ear, "We've investigated. Miss Yao and Jin Buwei do not know each other, and they don't have anyone they know in the same way."
He nodded thoughtfully.
"Come, sit down here!"
I sat down next to him, and he put his arm around my waist, asking softly, "Are you scared?"
I nodded slightly.
"Don't be afraid, I'll take you to get revenge right away!"
Then he looked at me and asked, "Where did those people touch you?"
"He just tugged at my wrist!" I whispered in response.
A slight smile played on his lips. "I'll get you some bodyguards from now on!"
I remained silent.
"Go take a shower and change your clothes, then I'll take you out!"
"good!"
She came out wearing a white dress, her long, straight black hair cascading down her chest, her fair skin needing no makeup—naturally beautiful.
He took my hand and led me outside.
The car was parked at the Spring City Nightless City.
Jiang Zhou opened the car door and pulled me in by the hand.
He was followed by more than ten bodyguards.
As soon as he entered, the manager at the door bowed respectfully and shouted, "Mr. Qin, you've arrived!"
Then the staff behind him shouted in unison, "Welcome, distinguished guest! We wish you continued success and endless wealth!"
“I want to see Li Delong!” he said coldly.
"Mr. Qin, please come to the VIP room upstairs. I'll call Brother Long over right away!" the manager said respectfully.
Then they helped call the elevator, and we arrived at a luxurious private room.
He slowly sat down, and a short while later, someone came in.
A tall man with a buzz cut, wearing a red short-sleeved shirt and exuding masculinity, walked in.
"Brother Qin!" he called out respectfully.
Qin Shisheng narrowed her eyes as she sized him up.
You should know why I'm here today.
The man in the red shirt with the buzz cut yelled at the people behind him, "Get in here, all of you! Kneel down and admit your mistakes! Apologize!"
