Chapter 1 Disrupting the Great Duke of Jupiter

"RBoy, a notorious killer wanted by Interpol for six years, was recently captured in San Francisco, USA. Police had previously carried out no fewer than a hundred manhunts for RBoy, but none of them were successful, and instead, a large number of their best officers were lost."

After nearly a year of meticulous planning by Interpol, and with the cooperation of the FBI and CIA, RBoy was finally captured, albeit at a heavy cost. According to sources, both the FBI and CIA explicitly stated their desire to recruit the assassin in exchange for his life, but he coldly refused both offers.

Listening to the news on the car radio, Li Jia couldn't help but shake his head and smile bitterly. "That good-for-nothing brat, he's actually been caught." Oh well, of all the students he taught when he was an instructor, he was the most impulsive. And now he no longer belonged to that world. He casually turned off the radio and focused on driving his modified German Volkswagen Passat slowly along with the traffic.

It was Friday, 4 PM. There weren't many people on the street. The traffic light was red at the intersection. Li Jia stopped the car and took out a yellowed photo that she had kept close to her body. She looked at it thoughtfully. The photo showed the faces of four children, two boys and two girls. Their happy smiles made the children look especially endearing. It wasn't hard to see that the round-faced boy who looked the oldest in the photo had a similar look in his eyes to Li Jia. However, they didn't look much alike anymore. After her makeover, Li Jia's face was now thin but angular. Looking at her former self in the photo, Li Jia smiled warmly.

The sound of a car horn behind him brought Li Jia back to his senses. He put the photo into his wallet, started the car, and apologized to the people behind him with the horn. At the intersection, he turned right and drove towards Blue Tianda, the largest shopping mall in City B. Today, he wanted to pick up a pendant chain that he had ordered there a week ago.

"Bang! Move aside! Move aside!" Just as Li Jia arrived at the mall and was about to find a parking space, a gunshot suddenly rang out from inside. Amidst the screams of the crowd, four men wearing black headscarves rushed out of the entrance, carrying canvas bags. Three of them were also holding dark-colored handguns. Before Li Jia could even get out of the car, one of them pressed a small handgun that looked like a domestically made Type 54 pistol against her temple. "Drive!" The robber's voice was completely emotionless, showing that these guys were definitely veterans.

"Robbery! Murder!" The piercing sound of police sirens echoed through the mall. Detective Jiang Ling was carefully searching for a suitable gift for her neighbor's younger sister, who was about to take the college entrance exam. She was startled by the gunshot, then felt a surge of excitement. "Finally, I have a chance to prove them wrong! Whenever there's a case, they always make me a support worker just because I'm a woman! This time, I'm going to seize the opportunity! I'll show those bastards that I, Jiang Ling, am just as capable as them!" Having made up her mind, she immediately got up and chased after the gun.

But when she ran out, she only saw a white Passat with a well-mannered young man being held at gunpoint, while the vicious robbers hijacked the car and quickly fled the scene.

Jiang Ling stamped her foot anxiously, rushed to the parking lot, and drove off on her light motorcycle. She had skipped work today, so her mode of transportation was the same women's light motorcycle she usually rode to and from work. Her only thought was, "I need to catch those guys and prove to the rest of the police force that I don't need their help." As for how to subdue the robbers, her carefree personality didn't even warrant a second thought. She had already notified the police; if all else failed, there were still those skilled officers. With no more worries, Jiang Ling gritted her teeth and chased after the direction the white Passat had disappeared in.

Jiang Ling made it possible to chase the Passat on a small motorcycle, something that seemed impossible at first. Although the distance between them was getting farther and farther, Jiang Ling still gritted her teeth and kept chasing after it.

Li Jia looked at the guys in his car, a slight smile playing on his lips. One of them had a pistol pointed at his temple. The scene felt somewhat familiar to him. He thought of how countless fearsome men had been sent to hell by him after pointing guns at them. These guys didn't seem like experts; they were at best experienced robbers. But he was a little surprised to encounter something like this so soon after returning to China. "When did guns become so common in China?"

"Young man, I didn't realize you could drive this beat-up car so fast. I'll spare your life when we get there. Drive faster, to the outer ring expressway entrance. If we're not there in 25 minutes, I'll blow your head off." The robber in the front seat had already taken off the turban covering his head. There were a few long hairs growing on the big black mole near his mouth. His broken Mandarin had a strong Cantonese accent.

"Hold on tight," Li Jia said, then floored the accelerator. The white Passat Tribe immediately felt a strong backward jolt, and the robbers quickly fastened their seatbelts.

Li Jia bought his Passat for less than 200,000 yuan, but the surgery on it cost nearly 2 million yuan. Even a Ferrari might not be able to outrun this unassuming Passat. Ten minutes later, the white car appeared at the entrance to the outer ring expressway. Several robbers got out of the car with their legs a little weak. Seeing Li Jia's calm smile, the leader of the group suddenly got angry, pulled out a gun, pointed it at Li Jia's head, and ordered him to get out of the car.
