From thugs causing trouble to posing as customers and exaggerating the poor service quality, he was using every possible means.
However, none of these events significantly impacted Li Jia's dry cleaning business. Instead, they provided her with several free news appearances, effectively giving her free publicity. Of course, one person deserves special mention here: Zhao Fei. She mobilized a large group of Zuolong Men's Clothing customers to provide testimonials, offering the best possible explanation of Li Jia's dry cleaning service quality. She even issued a statement saying she would support Li Jia in opening branches in other districts of City B if necessary, which further boosted Li Jia's dry cleaning business.
Chen Mingguang's tricks didn't stop there. A week later, the headquarters of Shujia International Chain Dry Cleaning called to inspect Li Jia's store. The reason was that a customer had complained to the Italian headquarters, so the headquarters would send someone to City B in China. If the complaint was true, the general agency franchise contract with Li Jia would be terminated, and the technical and brand support for Li Jia's dry cleaning store would be withdrawn.
Li Jia wasn't surprised at all by the news. Chen Mingguang's business was huge, and it was normal for him to have connections in Italy.
