The third woman was preoccupied with wondering why the sniper hadn't reacted. She hadn't realized that someone else had taken up the sniper's position. And her commands had been clearly transmitted to the person lying prone in the sniper's spot.
The black man wore a cold smile. Beside him lay the unconscious sniper, his fate unknown. Another sniper, codenamed 009, had already discovered his comrade's ambush and death. That's why he had suppressed his grief and anger when the third sniper questioned him earlier, remaining silent. This could be considered adding a crucial advantage to their side's chances of victory.
Xiao San suddenly remembered the communication: "Go about your own business, turn off your headphones. Meet back at the villa in five minutes." Of course, there was one more thing Xiao San didn't say: turn the headphones back on in five minutes. But Xiao San believed that his good brother Xiao Liu would understand what he meant. Turning off the headphones, Xiao San walked towards the figure quickly approaching the villa.
The mistress, lurking in the bushes, let three people walk past her, but when the fourth person reached her, she suddenly attacked. With a sharp chop to the neck, she swiftly laid the unconscious figure on the ground. Then she chased after the person ahead.
A crisp cracking sound startled several people nearby. Sparks flew from their hands in the night air. The muffled thuds told Xiao San that these people had clearly fitted their weapons with silencers. With a quick roll, Xiao San dodged a streak of bullets, his figure weaving like a snake through the lush greenery.
In the hands of the two men they had just finished off, Xiao San picked up a gun equipped with a silencer. He raised his hand and fired two bullets, striking both men in the mouth and heart. The two corpses fell to the ground. At the same time, Xiao Liu and Lincoln, who had been lying in wait for some time, suddenly sprang into action under the cover of darkness, snapping the necks of those closest to them. Each of them had one or two guns in their hands.
A silent battle ensued in the darkness. Just as Xiao San and his men were eliminating the attackers, a bullet whistled through the air and struck Xiao San's feet. Without a doubt, Xiao San knew it was a sniper. Startled, Xiao San immediately found suitable cover, concealing himself in the sniper's blind spot.
It was that QBU88 sniper rifle. To avoid alerting too many people, a silencer was specifically installed on it. If Xiao San hadn't known the sniper's location so clearly, this battle would have been lost. He turned his headphones back on. "Xiao Liu."
"Yes!" It was just a simple address, but the tacit understanding formed over many years meant that Xiao Liu had already turned on his headphones beforehand, and immediately understood the meaning behind Xiao San's words. He turned off his headphones again and crept towards the distance of the villa.
Miller, meanwhile, was already hidden at the other end of the villa. Unaware that two other snipers were watching the villa, he was fortunate to have good judgment and found himself in a blind spot of the enemy snipers, thus narrowly escaping death.
On the other side, a sniper, yet to be revealed, searched intently for the assassin's shadow behind the crosshairs. However, the assassin was cunning. After the ambush, he immediately moved his location, only firing one shot at a time.
Just as Xiao Liu was making his way towards the sniper's hiding place 500 meters away, a black face suddenly appeared in front of him. Instinctively, he tried to raise his phone, but the black man's foot had already kicked Xiao Liu's wrist. The force was so great that Xiao Liu's hand went numb, and his hand flew off.
Despite losing his weapon, Xiao Liu remained calm. After regaining his balance, he clearly saw the black assassin standing before him, about 1.8 meters tall. His physique was as muscular as a leopard's, and his eyes gleamed with a bloodthirsty smile. He looked at Xiao Liu as if he were prey, his mocking gaze igniting Xiao Liu's fury. Suddenly, Xiao Liu sprang into action, his left leg swiftly kicking towards the black man's mouth.
"Smack!" The black man blocked Xiao Liu's attack with his right arm. The pain shooting from his leg to his brain startled Xiao Liu. The black man's arm was as hard as an iron pillar; Xiao Liu's kick was easily blocked. "Looks like I'm no match for him!" he thought to himself, then immediately turned on his headphones. "Hit!" The black man's attack was already in front of Xiao Liu before he finished speaking—a straight punch. The fastest punch. But its power was not small at all. Xiao Liu dodged the punch to the side and immediately returned several punches. All of them targeted the black man's upper body.
Unfortunately, none of the punches were effective. The black man shook his head at Xiao Liu, then suddenly accelerated. A barrage of punches rained down on Xiao Liu. The last punch landed hard on Xiao Liu's mouth. A violent gasp escaped his lips with a "pfft." Blood gushed from Xiao Liu's mouth. The intense dizziness caused Xiao Liu to faint on the spot.
The black man glanced at the unconscious Xiao Liu, shook his head again, and showed a disappointed expression. His target was Jiang Songbai. He wouldn't kill anyone else. No one was paying. The black man, Czech, wouldn't punish anyone else. That was his principle.
Ignoring Xiao Liu lying to the side, he reached out and removed Xiao Liu's earphones, looking at the villa in the distance. Czech smiled and said in Chinese, "Good evening, gentlemen. I'm Czech. You can call me Lao Hei, or Black Czech, whatever you like. My mission is simply to save Jiang Songbai's life. If you don't want to die, leave now. Otherwise, you'll end up like this Xiao Liu, lying on the ground in this cold weather. Don't you think so?"
Czech's words caused both Xiao San and Lincoln's heads to simultaneously buzz. While others might not know Black Czech, these two knew a great deal about his legend. The third apprentice of the assassin legend, his skill level among the seven apprentices was in the upper-middle range, matching his ranking. He was also one of the most unique assassins in the world: he never killed anyone other than his target. His reasoning was, "Nobody pays. Why should I kill them?"
