Chapter 151 A Counterattack

Four dark hands were aimed at Li Jia's head and heart. On either side of the corridor stood a dozen Japanese samurai wielding katana. Leading them was a woman, a woman in a kimono. She held two katana and stood before Li Jia, staring at him like she was sizing up prey. "Chinese?"

The woman spoke in Mandarin, somewhat haltingly but clearly: "Who I am isn't important. What's important is how you knew I got in?" Li Jia was confident in his abilities, but he had still been spotted. He felt he might have been discovered even the moment he entered, so what Li Jia wanted to know most was where he had gone wrong.

Li Jia answered in Tokyo accent. This surprised the woman in the lead. After re-examining Li Jia, she smiled and said, "You mean the cameras? Heh. We have more than just a few. From the moment you found that less than two-second gap, I became interested in you."

The woman's reply made Li Jia chuckle. "That's right, I didn't even think of such a simple thing. Since you noticed me from the beginning, can I leave now?" As soon as Li Jia finished speaking, the woman and the people around her burst into laughter. "Leave? You have such a great sense of humor."

The woman laughed for a long time before regaining her composure. Staring at Li Jia, she spoke slowly and deliberately, the smiles lingering in the eyes of those around her. "Surrender. You're so refined; they probably don't want their men to hurt you. What do you say?" The woman in the kimono nodded at Li Jia, a glint of malice in her eyes.

"Heh. Since that's the case, then there's nothing I can do." After saying that, Li Jia's eyes, which had adjusted to the light, scanned his surroundings, quickly figuring out the distribution of people around him. Then, within a second, he made the best attack route, his body exploding from his original position to the middle of several warriors on the left side of the corridor. As he prepared to strike the ground, Li Jia had already found a shield.

"Attack!" The woman was enraged by Li Jia's sudden action. She was the fourth-in-command of her group of warriors, and this man was still trying to put up a desperate struggle. Enraged, she uttered the words, "Attack!"

At the woman's command, the dozen or so samurai behind him, wielding katana, instantly drew their swords. A dozen gleaming katanas attacked Li Feng from various angles, some slashing, some striking. The woman who gave the order stood at a distance, her face cold, watching Li Feng's ghostly figure. She watched her men fall one by one. Her four bodyguards behind her, armed with katanas, were constantly searching for an opportunity.

Li Jia's movements were swift and effective. After taking down the last samurai, Li Feng reached his initial designated position, grabbed an unconscious enemy, and hurled him at the woman standing opposite him. He then leaped away and disappeared into the darkness.

The loud noises following the direction Li Jia disappeared from triggered a full-scale alert in the villa complex. Intense barking mingled with incessant questioning from walkie-talkies, and the lights in the villa complex came on. At that moment, Li Jia's figure vanished completely in front of the villa. The people inside searched for nearly an hour without finding any trace of Li Jia. They had to temporarily give up, and the villa complex returned to silence once more…

At this moment, Li Jia reappeared in the villa complex. However, this time she appeared on the outskirts of the detached villas near the seaside reef. The guards here were not affected by the disturbance in the main villa area. Instead, they remained as before, with one or two people patrolling back and forth every twenty meters or so, holding 9mm light submachine guns. The lights in the villas were still on, and the time was four in the morning.

Under the cover of darkness, Li Jia silently approached the villa. Observing the guards surrounding the villa, he determined that there was only one way to avoid alerting them: to climb the rocky cliffs closer to the sea. However, Li Jia clearly didn't have that much time, so only one last option remained: eliminate the guards and storm in.

There were ten guards around the villa, each carrying a light .9mm submachine gun. Eight of them were positioned, with only one near the sea. The remaining three were positioned in each direction, forming two groups to guard the villa.

There weren't many obvious places to hide between the groups. The only places that could serve as cover were the green belts in the three directions, meaning there was no obvious cover between the two groups of three in each direction. However, the green belts separated the three groups, so this was a good situation for Li Jia.

Li Jia had already arrived on the west side. The group here consisted of two on the outside and one on the inside. As the two moved back and forth, Li Jia's body was fully prepared. It had been a long time since he had truly felt the thrill of the hunt. This gave Li Jia a slight sense of excitement.

Li Jia stared intently at the constantly moving guards, searching for an opportunity to strike decisively. "Here they come!" The instant the two guards crossed paths, the outer guard blocked the inner guard's view, and Li Jia's figure suddenly emerged from the darkness like a ghost. In the blink of an eye, he was in front of the two guards. He grabbed their necks with both hands and exerted force, leaving them no chance to resist. The two guards died instantly. The moment the two guards fell, a black dart shot out from Li Jia's fingertips, and black and white darts flew from the forehead of the guard in the inner group. Before he fell, Li Jia was already in front of him. He caught his falling body and gently laid him on the ground. Then, he leaped into the green belt, and the ghost that had taken three lives vanished once more.
