Chapter 158: Something still happened.

As time passed and more and more people filled the dance floor, Li Jia found it increasingly difficult to see his younger sister clearly. So, Li Jia decided to leave the dance floor. After resting for a moment, he prepared to walk up to Emily and invite her out, but Emily walked out of the dance hall with her wine glass in her hand.

Li Jia picked up a beer and followed Emily out. On the huge observation deck on the top floor of the hotel, Emily sat on the sofa on the balcony, looking at the distant sea, and gently placed the beer glass in her hand aside.

"Don't you like this kind of occasion?" Li Jia's calm voice sounded beside Emily. Emily turned around and looked at Li Jia standing in front of her. "Yes, I really don't like it!"

"Are you Emily?" Li Jia casually sat down opposite Emily, putting down her beer, and carefully looked at the girl she was meeting for the first time.

"Yes, I am Emily. Are you a teacher from China?" Emily no longer had the same dignified and arrogant demeanor she had when Li Jia first met her. Instead, she looked preoccupied.

"Hehe, that's right, you're probably not Italian, are you?" Li Jia looked at Emily and asked casually, then picked up the beer next to her and drank it.

“I am Chinese too. Although I grew up abroad, my uncles and aunts are all Chinese.” Emily picked up her wine glass, took a small sip, and said softly, looking at the night in the distance.

Just as Li Jia was about to press for more information, she heard hurried footsteps from the side. Turning around, she saw the two burly men who had been following Emily. One of the men came up to Emily, staring intently at Li Jia, while the other leaned down and whispered a few words in Emily's ear.

After hearing the big man's words, Emily's expression immediately changed. "I'm sorry, I have to leave now. It was nice to meet you, but I haven't asked you anything yet?" Emily asked Li Jia calmly before leaving. Because she felt that she had seen this man before when she first met him, and Li Jia's appearance was not unpleasant, she made an exception and chatted with Li Jia for a few words.

"Li Jia," Li Jia replied softly from the side, then watched Emily leave.

Seeing Emily's hurried manner, Li Jia couldn't help but follow behind, wondering what had caused such a drastic change in her expression.

Emily followed the two burly men around to the other side of the banquet hall via the stairs, and then almost ran downstairs. After returning to her room, the two men stood outside the door, looking around nervously.

As soon as Li Jia peeked out from the floor, she saw two burly men standing in front of the door. She immediately stopped and waited for an opportunity at the corner of the stairs. Just then, Li Jia noticed that the two men's gazes were fixed on the door of the room directly opposite Emily's room.

Before Li Jia could figure out what was going on, three people suddenly came out of the room and whispered something to the two burly men standing outside the door. The two burly men immediately nodded and then stretched out their hands in front of the three men in black, making a counting motion. The three men in black smiled and took out a thick stack of banknotes from their pockets, handing them to Emily's two bodyguards. The two bodyguards happily huddled together to count the money.

Just then, three men in black produced several gleaming daggers, suddenly grabbed the two burly men by the neck, and while covering their mouths, plunged the daggers into their eyes!

"Sigh, something still happened!" Li Jia shook her head and said to herself indifferently after seeing the three people kill Emily's two traitorous bodyguards.
