Chapter 162 Raze to the Ground

Li Jia followed closely behind, grabbing Emily's hand and suddenly pulling her away. "Ah!" Emily hadn't expected Li Jia to be so fast. The moment they started moving, she felt a little short of breath and couldn't help but shout out!

Two seconds passed in the blink of an eye. As Emily cried out, the red crosshairs that had been moving back and forth at their own pace immediately changed. Just as Li Jia pulled Emily and ran three steps away, a muffled sound came from outside the hotel.

"Crack! Crash!" After a crisp sound, a high-end decorative vase in the spot where Li Jia and Emily had just run was shattered by a sniper bullet. The vase fragments mixed with glass shards flew all over the ground. Then came a continuous barrage of bullets, which followed the direction Li Jia and Emily had run in an almost straight line.

"Jump!" At Li Jia's command, Emily was thrown out by Li Jia, and then she also leaped into the corridor along the pre-set route. Just as Emily was about to land, Angel caught her. Of course, this action was because of Li Jia; otherwise, Angel would not have caught Emily. The reason is self-evident.

"What fierce firepower!" After reaching a safe place, Angel looked at the mess behind her and said to Li Jia beside her.

"Yes, judging from the speed of the sound, the sniper outside is most likely using an M25 semi-automatic sniper rifle. Only it has a magazine capacity of twenty rounds, which would allow it to move so fast." Li Jia nodded, then looked back outside. He added.

Watching Li Jia and Angel's conversation, Emily, still shaken, was at a loss. The conversation between Li Jia and Angel was too professional. Although she had been exposed to weapons and combat since childhood, she had nothing to offer in front of these two. She really felt like a child in front of them. Even though Angel didn't look much older than her, Angel's cold eyes were still etched in Emily's mind, and just thinking about them made Emily feel a chill run down her spine.

"Let's go! Eleven minutes left, time is tight!" Li Jia glanced at her watch. Then the three of them stood up and ran towards the planned route.

The corridor was about thirty meters long, and at the end was the entrance to the basement. After arriving at the basement door, Li Jia used a pry bar to break open the door, and then the three of them quickly walked into the basement.

The basement was dimly lit, with neatly stacked items and goods everywhere. It was a typical circular basement, with a narrow passageway on the right. The passageway led directly to the underground parking lot of the Kawa Hotel, and to get out of the passageway and reach the parking lot, one had to pass through an iron door that had never been opened before. Now, this door was in front of Li Jia and her companions.

"We can get out by breaking the lock!" Emily was quite excited. Seeing a glimmer of hope, she raised her hand to strike the lock on the iron gate.

"Wait a minute! Don't rush, the parking lot is just outside, be careful!" Angel stopped Emily in time. As she spoke, Li Jia had already pressed herself against the iron gate, listening intently to the sounds outside!

When Li Jia turned around with a serious expression, Angel immediately walked up to her and asked, "Master, how is it?" She then pushed the door with her hand.

"C4 is on the door. It's roughly on the lock of the iron gate. If we break the lock, we're all probably going to be killed!" Li Jia looked at Angel and Emily, then smiled and said to them.

"Then how can you still laugh!?" Emily saw the faint smile on Li Jia's face and, recalling what Li Jia had just said, muttered angrily. Clearly, she didn't believe Li Jia's words.

"You'd better listen to your master. He's the best. If he says there's C4, then there definitely is. If you want to see the power of that giant plastic bomb, there will be plenty of opportunities inside. If you don't have enough, I'll give you one after we get out!" Angel's face turned cold after seeing Emily's reaction, and her words made Emily turn her head away indignantly. This way, she could avoid Angel's chilling eyes.

Emily couldn't understand why Angel, who looked so young, had that kind of look in her eyes. But for now, she shouldn't provoke her anymore; those eyes were just too chilling to look at.

“If you can’t unlock it, then take the door down. We have six minutes left. We’ll finish this in one minute.” After Li Jia finished speaking, she pulled Emily to the side. Angel looked at Li Jia and Emily, then smiled and took out a glittering gold heart-shaped pendant from her neck.

Pressing the button next to the pendant produced a soft "click," and the pendant opened to reveal a heart-shaped metal bottle inside. The bottle's opening was in the center of the heart. Angel reached out and pulled out the bottle's opening, which was originally less than half a centimeter long, and it was stretched to two centimeters. "Luckily, I've never let this thing out of my sight!" Angel smiled happily as she looked at the strange metal bottle in her hand.

Li Jia nodded and smiled, "I knew you'd bring it." Emily, on the other hand, was completely bewildered, constantly asking herself, "Why are all the things I've encountered in the past half-day things things I've never seen before? What is this thing? They both seem to treat it like a treasure!"

Emily's question was answered in the next second. On the heart-shaped metal bottle opening, Angel pressed the small round button, and a blue-white flame suddenly emerged from the slender bottle opening. Angel placed the flame on the iron door, and a choking white smoke drifted out as the flame burned the iron door!
