Florence, a city in central Italy and the capital of the Tuscany region, is located in a basin on the western slope of the central Apennine Mountains. This is the artistic city that is now standing in front of Li Jia and the others.
Upon entering Florence, Angel got off the car at Park Torrigani, while her two henchmen pointed out the way, and soon they arrived at the gate of a small manor on the banks of the Arno River. "We're here, let's go in!"
The two henchmen gestured for Li Jia to stop the car, and then walked into the small manor called Oriental Dragon. In fact, upon closer inspection, it would be more accurate to describe this small manor as a small Chinese community. The manor was surrounded by trees that are common in Florence, making it appear exceptionally quiet and elegant.
"Brother Li! You're finally back!" Just as Li Jia and the others got out of the car, a white figure ran out of the manor. The weather in Florence was still warm at this time. Emily had already changed out of the coat she had been wearing all the time and put on a light schoolgirl dress. She was followed by four old men who quickly arrived at the manor gate.
“Uncle Yu, Uncle Yang, Uncle Ma, Uncle Long, and this is Li Jia, who has saved us many times. Brother Li! Brother Li, these are the other four elders of Longwu, and there is also Uncle Liang, whom you have met before.” Emily immediately introduced them, holding Li Feng’s hand.
"Thank you for saving the young lady's life. The Dragon King wishes to see you. Also, these two brothers need immediate treatment. The Dragon King will see you personally later! Go now!" Elder Yu on the left, with a thick beard, of medium height, and a square face with bright eyes, spoke immediately after hearing the introduction. The two injured underlings nodded their thanks and were then helped to the hospital by the other two.
"Alright, please lead the way!" Li Jia sized up the four elders in front of him one by one. The second elder was thin and bony, with a goatee that looked like withered grass on his chin, and a pair of cloudy eyes that were hard to read.
The third elder is the most distinctive, characterized by his roundness. With a round face and a round belly, he looks as if he is composed of countless circles. His round face gives him a friendly appearance, and his eyes are clear, unlike the First Elder's brilliance. He also lacks the Second Elder's murky, unfathomable gaze.
The last one was the one that left the best impression on Li Jia. If anyone wanted to know what it meant to have an air of otherworldly elegance, just look at this man. His long, flowing hair was tied back, and three strands of long beard cascaded down his front. His eyes were serene and unwavering, and a faint smile always graced his face. If this old man had traveled back to ancient times, he would definitely have been a handsome figure!
"Please come in!" Elder Yu gestured with his hand and led the way into the manor in front of Li Jia.
At the front of the manor stood a quaint, three-story villa. Led by four elders, Li Feng arrived at the living room on the third floor. In the spacious living room sat a middle-aged man with a somewhat pale face, sipping a cup of fine tea.
"Sihai. People have arrived." As soon as Elder Yu Xianming finished speaking, the famous Dragon King Ai Sihai slowly put down his cup, then looked up at the young man Li Jia who walked in with Yu Xianming and the others. His daughter was standing next to Li Jia, looking at him happily.
"You're Li Jia? Sit down, my four uncles, please sit down." Ai Sihai's hoarse voice caught Li Jia off guard. Ai Sihai shouldn't have such a voice.
Ai Sihai. In his forties, his short hair stood upright on his head. Although his eyes were slightly dull, they could not hide the domineering aura in his bones. His complexion was a little yellow, clearly showing that he had just recovered from a serious illness.
"I am Li Jia." Looking at Ai Sihai, Li Jia answered calmly, then sat down on the sofa next to him, naturally facing Ai Sihai's gaze and the various eyes of the elders.
"Hehehe, good! Indeed, heroes emerge from among the young! Little Rice Grain, go down and check on Uncle Liang first. I have some things to discuss with Li Jia." Ai Sihai looked at Li Jia's performance, gave her a thumbs up after a hoarse laugh, and then turned to Emily, who was standing to the side, and said affectionately.
"Little Rice Grain? Hehe, that's a very endearing name." Li Jia smiled as she watched Emily nod beside her and then walk out of the house. She hadn't expected Xiaoyue to have such a name.
“I heard from my daughter that you saved her many times this time. I am very grateful to you. Our Dragon Dance Society may not have much else, but we can provide you with money, women, and power. So, tell me, what kind of reward do you want?” Ai Sihai watched Li Jia finish speaking slowly and deliberately, then picked up his tea and took another sip. His eyes flickered as he stared at Li Jia, and it was unclear what he was planning.
"Hehe, King Ai, to be honest, I don't lack anything, and saving Emily was not an accident." Li Jia was not quite used to Ai Sihai's way of speaking, but she was not angry yet, so she looked at Ai Sihai and replied calmly.
"What? What is your purpose? No matter what your purpose is! The Dragon Dance Association will not let you succeed! Considering that you are also Chinese, we will not hold it against you. You can leave immediately!" The Second Elder, Yang Qingyun, said fiercely after hearing Li Feng's words. His goatee trembled as he spoke.
Li Jia was somewhat surprised by Yang Qingyun's reaction. She hadn't expected that before she could even finish speaking, he would start to dismiss her and inexplicably accuse her of something serious. More importantly, Ai Sihai, sitting opposite her, didn't stop him but instead squinted at Li Feng's reaction, his teacup remaining motionless.
