"Yeah, you didn't expect that, did you! But it's a real shame that Mr. Li wasn't there for the wedding. My wife kept blaming me, saying that I couldn't even invite such an important person like you, and she even punished me by making me make it up to her tonight!" Canglang's words became more and more uncontrollable, and the content he uttered gradually included words that were not suitable for children.

"Xiaolong, I have a question for you." Li Jia patted Xiaolong on the shoulder, pulling him out of his reverie once again.
"What is your mission?" Li Jia's question was simple, and after hearing Li Jia's words, the confusion in Xiao Long's eyes gradually disappeared, finally turning into a firm look. "That's right, my mission is to protect Miss. I don't need to think about anything else, nor is it necessary. From the moment I was born, I've only had this one mission!"
Li Jia nodded in satisfaction at Xiao Long's words, then gently shifted Xiao Yue in her arms to make her more comfortable.
After returning to downtown Shanghai, they found a hotel closer to the airport. The group settled in, and Xiaoyue seemed much more energetic during dinner, eating almost everything she'd eaten in the past few days. After dinner, Li Jia gave her a head massage, and Xiaoyue slept soundly that night.
"Mr. Li, your plane tickets are ready. We're taking a bus back to City B, but we have some things to take care of along the way. So we can't accompany you back to City B, but I'll get back as soon as possible. I'll make up for the wedding banquet for Mr. Li when I get back!" After saying that, Canglang put down the plane tickets for Li Jia and the other two, and turned to leave.
Li Jia took the plane ticket and checked the time. The flight was at 7 PM, and it would take an hour to get to City B. It was only 9 AM now, so she had plenty of time to wander around. With that in mind, Li Jia picked up her phone and dialed Li Xiaotong's number.
"Big brother? Where are you? Have you found your little sister yet?" Li Xiaotong asked excitedly the moment the call connected. Li Xiaotong had been quite busy with her studies lately, with a tight schedule. Since winter break was approaching and she needed to review for exams, she hadn't contacted Li Jia. Now that Li Jia had taken the initiative to call her, she was naturally incredibly excited!
"Hehe, found it. Tomorrow is the weekend, why don't you buy a train ticket back to City B? Our family can get together!" Li Jia replied with a smile.
"Really? That's great! I'll go buy the ticket right away! See you home, big brother!" Li Xiaotong hung up the phone decisively after saying that. Listening to the dial tone, Li Jia shook her head with a smile, "That little girl, still so energetic!"
After making that call, Li Jia thought for a moment and then dialed the shop's number. "Meng Yao, it's me. I'm going back to City B tonight. My flight is at seven o'clock, and I should be able to get to the shop by eight-thirty. Prepare plenty of food; we have customers coming!"
Meng Yao on the phone showed no surprise whatsoever, remaining as calm as ever. But Li Jia knew very well that Meng Yao was definitely happy, even though she didn't say it.
After making the call, Li Jia thought for a moment. She hesitated over the number she originally wanted to dial, then put her phone aside, sat down to think for a while, stood up, stretched, picked up her phone, and left the room.
The Bund in Shanghai, a place Li Jia had always wanted to visit, is also known as Zhongshan East Road No. 1 by Shanghainese. It is about 15 kilometers long, bordered by the Huangpu River to the east and west, and by 52 buildings of different styles, including Gothic, Romanesque, Baroque, and Sino-Western fusion, to the west. These buildings are known as the "World Architecture Expo".
Li Jia and her two companions strolled slowly along the road. Since it was daytime, they couldn't enjoy the most beautiful night view of the Bund. However, there weren't many people on the Bund at the moment, so looking at the Huangpu River from here was a very pleasant experience.
"Xiaoyue, isn't this place beautiful?" Li Jia asked softly, looking at Xiaoyue who was leaning against the low fence.
"Yes, it's very beautiful, even more beautiful than the Arno River in Florence. But I wonder how it is there now, and why Uncle did this?" As Xiaoyue spoke, the topic turned to the Dragon Dance Party. The deep worry in her eyes puzzled Li Jia. "Xiaoyue is so young, why is she so concerned about these things?"
"Don't think about those things for now. The most important thing now is to go back to City B and reunite with your brothers and sisters. I'll take care of everything else for you, trust me!" Xiaoyue nodded happily after hearing Li Jia's words, because since she met Li Feng, there had never been a single promise that Li Jia had made that she hadn't kept.
