Li Jia took out her phone and dialed Hai Mingyue's number. "Yue'er, come pick me up. I'm at the Lanjiang Dam. Okay, I'll wait for you." After saying that, Li Jia hung up the phone and slowly walked along the road towards the city. In the night breeze, she pondered how to deal with that despicable couple.
Twenty minutes later, Li Jia's familiar white Passat appeared in the distance. She waved to Hai Mingyue to stop the car, and Li Jia opened the door and got in. "What have you been doing? Did you come all the way to the dam for a date?"
As soon as Li Jia got into the car, Hai Mingyue asked with a smile, and then turned the car around.
"Yes, I did have a date, but it was with a few grown men. They insisted that I help them bury them in the sand, so I did. They were incredibly touched, but then the car broke down, so I had no choice but to call you, haha." Li Jia casually made up a story to explain. Hai Mingyue giggled after hearing Li Jia's words, and the car's speed suddenly increased, with the white Passat speeding towards the Bayi Apartment.
"I didn't realize you liked driving fast?" After stopping the car at the entrance of Bayi Apartment, Li Jia smiled at Hai Mingyue, who was beaming with excitement, reached out and gently stroked her nose affectionately, and said softly.
“It’s okay to indulge myself once in a while. As long as you’re sitting next to me, I’ll drive even faster!” Hai Mingyue shook her head and then stared into Li Jia’s eyes as she answered, word by word.
Li Jia smiled. From the moment they established their relationship, the hazy veil between them instantly disappeared. The feeling of mutual respect made it seem as if they had been in love for many years, yet this respect was mixed with the passion and sweetness of being deeply in love.
"Moon, I love you!" Li Jia gazed at Hai Mingyue and softly uttered the words from the bottom of her heart. Although they both knew it, the daily repetition still made them intoxicated.
Hai Mingyue didn't speak. Instead, she offered her fragrant lips, and their emotions deepened and intensified as their lips and tongues intertwined. After a long while, the passionate kiss ended, and Li Jia gently kissed the top of Hai Mingyue's head. "Get some rest, sweetie!"
Hai Mingyue nodded, her satisfied expression prompting Li Jia to kiss her cheek again before letting her out of the car. Only after Hai Mingyue skipped and hopped away, disappearing through the apartment building's entrance, did Li Jia take out her phone and send her a text message.
"I have things to take care of tomorrow, so you can have a good beauty sleep in the morning. Call me anytime if you need anything." After seeing that the text message had been successfully sent, Li Jia moved to the driver's seat and started the car. She then received a reply from Hai Mingyue on her phone; the text message consisted of a V-sign followed by a funny face.
After reading the reply, Li Jia smiled and shook her head, then turned her car around and drove back to the dry cleaner.
Back at the dry cleaner, Meng Yao's complexion had returned to normal. She looked at Li Jia with a bold, playful glint in her eyes, as if Li Jia's love life was another kind of challenge for her. "You're back? Would you like some hot water?"
"Uh? Okay, thank you." Li Jia wasn't quite sure what was going on with Meng Yao's captivating aura and sudden increase in affection.
Today, Meng Yao was wearing a white silk nightgown. Under the light, one could even see the hazy curves beneath the nightgown. Li Jia had never seen this nightgown before; it must have been recently purchased. The nightgown had a deep V-neck between the two straps, revealing almost half of her pair of snow-white, round, and full breasts. Especially when she bent down to place a water glass on the desk for Li Jia, the angle was almost perfect. The snow-white skin under the V-neck made Li Jia feel dizzy. She wondered to herself, "What is Meng Yao up to? Does she know I'm in a relationship? Is she trying to test my willpower?"
Thinking of this, Li Jia peeked at him a few times. Then she turned on her computer. "I have some things to take care of. If you're sleepy, go and get some rest."
Li Jia's words did not have the desired effect. Meng Yao looked at Li Jia and smiled charmingly, "It's okay, I'll give you a massage for a while, anyway I can't sleep."
Hearing Meng Yao's words, Li Jia became even more certain of his thoughts. Meng Yao was testing his resolve, so he simply nodded, adjusted his posture, and said, "Alright. But you'd better be careful. I haven't been with a woman in a long time." After saying that, Li Jia opened his email and typed out a message with lightning speed, then sent it out.
Less than ten minutes later, he received a reply email. The email read, "Francisco and Enrique, they will both disappear. If you want to do it yourself, I'm happy to. If you don't want to, I'll send someone to handle it. In any case, someone will arrive in City B early tomorrow morning to replace Francisco. I've been good to him all these years, but I didn't expect him to still be thinking about that matter and trying every means to replace me. My lord, I have a request. If you choose to do it yourself, I hope you can leave him with a complete corpse!" It was signed by Bolen Hanks.
After a moment of contemplation, Li Jia typed two words, "OK!" and replied to the email. Since the email from Lao Bolun was edited in Spanish, Meng Yao didn't know what it said, but she recognized the "OK" Li Jia sent. "What's OK? You're not going abroad again, are you?"
As Meng Yao spoke, she placed her body on the back of Li Jia's neck. The soft, natural massage pillow made Li Jia shake her head. On one hand, shaking her head was a way of denying Meng Yao's question, and on the other hand, it was because she needed to adjust the position of her neck so that she could better enjoy the comfort and stimulation.
