As the Han Dynasty's followers rushed into the hillside forest, Li Jia's figure slowly appeared not far from the man who had been shot. She walked a few steps to the fallen body, then looked down and asked, "Du Yu?"
Upon seeing the fallen man, Li Jia was slightly taken aback, and then many questions arose in her mind. "Du Yu's appearance here is obviously not surprising, but why is he with the Hanmo Li gang? Could it be...?" Thinking of that possibility, Li Jia immediately felt sorry for Ma Bin, but Du Yu's death was well-deserved. Daring to make a deal with the infamous Hanmo Li mafia was a crazy thing in itself.
Looking at the already dead Du Yu, Li Jia stared at the distant hillside forest, a faint smile appearing on his face. "Let's see if you've regressed." After saying this softly, Li Jia shot off like a ghost towards another part of the hillside.
Mountain forests have always been a favorite of some and a nightmare of others. For example, Black Czech was a favorite of this forest, but for the Han Dynasty's Li Party members, this forest became their nightmare!
When Li Jia entered the mountains, only seventeen members of the Han Dynasty's faction remained. The seventeen men formed a large circle, nervously watching the darkening sky. Suddenly, the sky darkened, and almost without warning, dark clouds gathered, followed by a torrential downpour.
Along with the raindrops came a cold mountain wind that howled down. After more than ten minutes, the forest was covered in mud. Black Jack, who had just hunted down seven members of the Hanmoli gang, was now silent. In this gloomy forest, the howling wind sounded like the low roar of a monster that was devouring people, making the already extremely tired members of the Hanmoli gang even more nervous.
Black Czech was currently near this group of Han Dynasty followers, and the weather provided him with an even more favorable environment. To Black Czech, seventeen people were not much different from one person. Because this was a mountain forest!
Black Czech, his black skin covered in mud, quickly disappeared ahead of the group. Meanwhile, the seventeen Han Dynasty party members, exhausted from nearly twenty minutes of intense mental strain, shouted, "Damn it! We can't dawdle like this! Speed up! I refuse to believe we're afraid of him with a dozen guns! Forward!"
At the leader's command, the Han Dynasty gangsters mustered their spirits, widened their eyes, mustered their strength, and quickly advanced towards the top of the slope with their guns in hand!
Visibility was pitifully low in this weather; even with excellent eyesight, one could only see a dozen meters ahead. The torrential rain obstructed the crowd's view. Of course, it also facilitated Heizi's hunting operation.
"Whoosh! Snap!" Two subtle sounds came from the rain without attracting anyone's attention. It was Hei Zi. As everyone passed by his hiding place, he grabbed the last guy by the leg from the bushes, dragged him into the bushes, and punched him in the throat. The speed was as fast as a viper's tongue. The rain was still falling, but the seventeen people had become sixteen!
After killing the man, Hei Zi, taking advantage of the heavy rain, replaced the dead Han Dynasty party member and openly approached the last man, his dagger dull and black. Once within striking distance, Hei Zi suddenly covered the Han Dynasty party member's mouth with his left hand, while his right hand flashed the dagger across his throat, and the Han Dynasty party member vanished without a trace.
After Hei Zi eliminated eleven Han Dynasty gangsters, someone finally noticed something strange and called out a few names, but the only response was the howling of the rain.
"Gather! Everyone, assemble! Let's count the number of people!" The leader of the Han Dynasty's faction was extremely annoyed by his men's suspicious behavior. After shouting, he stopped and turned to look at the seven people in front of him. "What? Just you few! Where are the others?"
Amidst the shaking of the heads of the crowd, the leader suddenly felt a chill, for he saw the other seven men raise their guns and point them at him! "What are you doing? Bastards! Put your guns down! Quick! Put your guns down..."
The leader didn't finish his sentence, because he saw his shoulder flying backward, and where his neck should have been, there was nothing there. The headless corpse stood there, spurting crimson blood from its neck. The raindrops instantly turned the surrounding mud a blood-red stain!
Gunfire erupted at that moment, the frenzied bullets riddling the slowly falling corpse with holes. The figure that had been standing behind the body had vanished without a trace.
"Damn it! What the hell! Let's keep going! Back to back, watch your surroundings! We have to complete the mission, even if we're down to the last one! Move forward!"
With each leader falling, another would rise. The remaining six-man squad formed a circle and continued advancing, albeit at a much slower pace. However, within ten minutes, the dark figure from before did not reappear, which somewhat relieved the group. It was unclear how long they could relax.
"This guy is still the same as always, good at psychological tactics. But it seems there's no time to wait for him to play the game." Li Jia had been watching Hei Zi's every move from the shadows until Hei Zi took down the leader and then fled in a roundabout way. Only then did Li Jia check the time, shake his head helplessly, and then disappear into the rain.
The last six people successfully reached the top of the slope, but on the other side, Ma Bin and the others had long since disappeared, leaving only a broken cell phone and a wooden GPS locator on the ground.
