Chapter 45 The Moon's Fault

The three guys nearby immediately recognized the man with the crew cut when they heard his shout: "This guy's the one who beat up Xiao Dong! Go!"

Several people pounced on Li Jia. Seeing their stance, Li Jia smiled, a smirk playing on her lips. She launched herself at the three men like a cannonball, leaping up and slamming her right knee directly into the chin of the man in the suit in the middle. A painful groan immediately escaped the man's lips; clearly, his chin had been temporarily and honorably dislocated.

While Li Jia landed and turned around, the two people next to her swung their fists at her chest. As soon as Li Jia turned around, she grabbed a chair next to her and slammed it down on their arms. Before they could even scream, she grabbed them by the back of their necks and slammed them together. The two of them ended up in a bloody scene reminiscent of Brokeback Mountain, before collapsing softly to the ground.

Li Jia left the ward and took out her phone. "Teacher Hai, is something wrong? Oh, I was just dealing with something. Where are you? Okay, I'll come pick you up. I already know where Li Xiaotong is. Okay!" Li Jia hung up the phone after speaking. She looked around at the people in the surrounding wards, who were peering into the room with the crew cut. There were occasional murmurs of discussion in the crowd.

"Serves you right! All you do is bully others, now you're getting your comeuppance!"

"Exactly! He should just die! He's made a mess of the whole hospital lately, and he's harassed so many nurses that they've all left!"

Some even ran up behind Li Jia and whispered, "Hey bro, did that damn bastard bully your friend?"

"Oh no, I just noticed he didn't look too well in the moonlight, so I helped him rest a bit." Li Jia finished speaking and left the hospital with a light heart, leaving the older woman there scrutinizing him, wondering, "His face doesn't look good in the moonlight?"
