Li Jia knocked on the door and pulled Li Xiaotong into the house. The people inside saw Li Xiaotong's tired face and came forward to ask what was wrong. Li Xiaoqing even threw herself into Li Xiaotong's arms and then hugged Li Xiaotong and cried happily.
"Let her go and rest. I'll tell you what you want to know." Li Jia knew that Li Xiaotong must be very tired, as could be seen from their conversation earlier. She gestured to Li Xiaoqing to take Li Xiaotong into the bedroom, then pulled up a chair and sat down in front of Li Yan and Jiang Ling.
"Xiaotong stayed at school for three days. Don't ask why. Xiaotong will soon become a good student, so please take good care of her. Call me anytime if anything happens."
"And Officer Jiang, I hope you can temporarily put aside some of your personal thoughts to help Xiaotong, is that alright?" Li Jia said, looking sincerely at Jiang Ling.
"Okay...alright! I promise you." Although Jiang Ling still had doubts about Li Jia, she saw the sincerity and pleading in Li Jia's eyes, and thought of Li Xiaotong's tired face, so her heart softened and she agreed to Li Jia's request.
"Thank you!" Li Jia said sincerely.
"Brother Li, Xiaotong asked me to tell you thank you!" Li Xiaoqing came out of the bedroom and stood in front of everyone. Her eyes were red as she spoke softly to Li Jia. After she finished speaking, she bowed to Li Jia.
"Don't do that. Although Brother Li is your sworn brother, these are things an elder brother should do. Okay, you guys chat, I'll go back first. I'll come back to see Xiaotong again tomorrow." Li Jia quickly got up and helped Li Xiaoqing up, then said goodbye to the others and prepared to leave. Just as Li Jia was about to leave, there was a knock on the door.
