A bottle of Wuliangye was quickly emptied, and Li Jia opened another bottle. The conversation between the two had turned into Cao Dali talking to himself.
"Li Xiaotong's family has four children in total, I think there are four, but I don't know why there are only three. Anyway, Li Xiaotong, Li Xiaoqing, and Li Yan, those three little ones had a really tough time during that period. Luckily, their uncle is a kind person and took them in, otherwise, they probably would have starved to death long ago!" Cao Dali was drunk, but the more drunk a person is, the more they will reveal the truth hidden in their heart. Therefore, Li Jia did not doubt Cao Dali's words at all. After she left, she wondered how they had managed to get by.
After asking Cao Dali a few questions, Li Jia finally understood some fragmented pieces of information. Less than a year after she left, her mother passed away due to illness, and the bungalow where her family lived was sold. They temporarily stayed at her uncle's house. Later, her uncle's family had to move to F City due to some issues, but for some reason, they insisted on staying in B City and have been living there ever since.
It was almost 11 o'clock when Li Jia came out of the school. As soon as she stepped out of the school gate, she saw a person standing next to her car. He was at least 1.9 meters tall and stood in front of her car like a javelin, looking at her. After seeing Li Jia come out, he tore up the photo in his hand and threw it on the ground, and slowly walked up to Li Feng.
"This car is yours, isn't it?" The voice was cold and emotionless, and the eyes that looked at Li Jia exuded a chilling aura.
"That's right, who are you?" Li Jia sensed a faint killing intent emanating from this person. Only someone with blood on their hands could possess such a subtle killing intent. Ordinary people could sense it, but instead of killing intent, they would feel a chilling sensation, the kind that sends a cold sweat down their spine.
What Li Jia sensed was the bloody aura emanating from this person, but she had seen too many people like him before. Looking at the expressionless face in front of her, she asked calmly.
"Who I am is unimportant. I heard you're quite the fighter?" After saying this, the man took a few steps back, took off his coat and threw it on the ground. He twisted his body for a while, making cracking sounds from his joints. After moving around for half a minute, he waved to Li Jia, "Come on!"
"Give me a reason!" Li Jia ignored her opponent, who had already taken a fighting stance, and calmly asked as she stood there with an unhurried expression.
"I'll tell you if you beat me!" After saying that, the opponent revealed a sinister expression and suddenly pounced on Li Jia. His leg attack was sharp and aimed at Li Jia's head. Under the streetlight, his leather shoes flashed a cold light, obviously with some hard metal attached to them.
A smile suddenly appeared on Li Jia's lips as she watched her opponent pounce on her. She moved with ghostly speed, even faster than the opponent, while simultaneously ducking to dodge the side kick. Then, she suddenly exerted force with her shoulder, slamming it directly into the opponent's groin. The opponent never expected Li Jia to be so fast. No, not only was she fast, but she also possessed terrifying explosive power. The shoulder strike sent a shiver down his groin, almost causing him to lose consciousness.
"I'll say it again, give me a reason." After hitting the target with her first strike, Li Jia did not pursue, but stood there looking at her astonished opponent. Li Jia had not exerted much force in that strike, but had merely given her opponent a symbolic warning.
However, Li Jia's response was her opponent's second attack, also a leg attack. This time, her opponent was much smarter and no longer used that seemingly cool but actually humiliating upper body attack against a skilled opponent. Her black leather shoes kicked towards Li Jia's knee with a gust of wind. The toe of the shoes was surrounded by a ring of black metal. If this kick had hit an ordinary person, it would probably have at least broken bones.
As Li Jia watched her opponent's attack, the corners of her mouth curled up even higher. Right elbow strike! She slightly turned her body to avoid the opponent's kick, and her right elbow slammed into the opponent's knee, which had not yet been pulled back!
They say you can't fight city hall, but the situation is completely reversed here. Li Jia's elbow strike completely rendered the man's right leg incapacitated. The man, clutching his right leg and crouching down in pain, was sweating profusely. Despite the excruciating pain, he gritted his teeth and endured it without uttering a single sound of pain.
"I'm in a good mood today, so I've decided to give you another chance. Tell me, who sent you?" Li Jia was indeed in a good mood today. She had learned about some things concerning her three younger siblings, and Li Xiaotong's recent changes had made her feel a sense of purpose in her life in City B. As for this guy who had inexplicably started a fight with her, Li Jia wasn't particularly angry. Looking at the man who had been squatting there silently for so long, Li Jia smiled. "Fine, if you won't tell me, I'm leaving. Goodbye forever!"
After Li Jia finished speaking, she walked towards her Passat. "Wait a minute." A voice came from behind her, but it wasn't the man squatting on the ground. Instead, three people got out of a BMW parked not far away. The person in front was about 1.75 meters tall, over 40 years old, dressed in a very traditional outfit similar to a martial arts uniform, and wearing cloth shoes. After getting out of the car, he called out to Li Jia.
Li Jia turned around and glanced at the middle-aged man who had approached her, mentally assessing his identity. "May I ask who you are?"
"Liu Cangwu!" The middle-aged man proudly stated his name, then stared at Li Jia and continued to ask, "I suppose you're also curious as to why I've come to find you. Do you remember those two people you injured not long ago, at the Eighteen Bends of Lingkou on the Outer Ring Road?"
"Oh? Yes, that's true, but I don't know which two you're referring to. I beat up a lot of people that day, so I can't remember them all." Li Jia immediately understood what was going on. "After beating up the younger ones, the older ones came out to save face. If I'm not mistaken, this Liu Cangwu is probably the master or something of those two top-notch thugs."
