Inside the bag, of course, was a huge pile of firearms. These were Scorpion's weapons. Now that I think about it, Scorpion's arsenal was practically all over the world. Wherever he went, as long as there was a train station, there would be his weapons stored there. It was incredibly convenient!
"I'll give you a day to learn the most basic shooting skills, and then we'll go collect your brother's body." After saying that, Li Jia emptied all the guns out of the bag and placed them one by one on the living room floor, staring at Hai Mingyue as she spoke.
"Should I learn?" Hai Mingyue looked at Li Jia with some hesitation. She had only seen these things on TV before. This was the first time she had seen firearms in real life, and there were so many of them. Her mind was a little overwhelmed, and she even felt unusually nervous when breathing.
“Don’t be afraid. I’m having you study so that you can protect yourself in a critical moment. I think Horton Charles should be waiting for us there. I punched that kid, and he’s so infatuated with you that he can’t even tell north from south. So, he’s capable of anything now. Do you understand?” Li Jia explained softly to Hai Mingyue.
"Okay! I'll learn!" After taking a few deep breaths, Hai Mingyue nodded vigorously and said to Li Jia affirmatively.
"Alright! Let's begin." Li Jia smiled, then leaned over and gave Hai Mingyue a kiss of encouragement. He then gazed at Hai Mingyue with deep affection, said "Let's begin," and casually picked up a pistol from the ground to begin his introduction. "HKUSP pistol, manufactured by Heckler & Koch GmbH, Germany, 1.5mm caliber. Fires 1.5mm Parabellum pistol cartridges. This pistol is called the Type 9."
"It has a 16-round magazine capacity, two spare magazines as standard, weighs 753 grams, has a muzzle velocity of 285 meters per second, and is designed for single-shot bursts. Its maximum theoretical rate of fire is 367 rounds per minute, with a maximum effective range of 150 meters. It features low recoil and high accuracy, making it suitable for you. Try it out." Li Jia finished speaking, disassembling the pistol and briefly explaining each component. Then, amidst Hai Mingyue's bewildered expression, she reassembled the pistol and handed it to her.
Hai Mingyue took the pistol, feeling its cold touch, and surprisingly calmed down. Holding the gun in her right hand, she aimed at the distant lamp with a practiced air, a natural connection she felt with the pistol rising within her. "Okay. May I try firing it?"
Looking into Hai Mingyue's eyes and noticing no hint of a joke in them, Li Jia thought for a moment and nodded. "Okay, but you need to install this first." Li Jia then took the gun from Hai Mingyue's hand, picked up the suppressor barrel from the ground, and skillfully attached it to the muzzle of the USP pistol. She then checked the magazine and the safety before handing it back to Hai Mingyue.
“This suppressor is the work of one of my apprentices. It’s much better than ordinary suppressors. Also, the slot above the barrel is for this… laser sight. You can try it first, feel free to experiment. The sound of the pistol is quieter than you can imagine; it won’t disturb the neighbors.” Li Jia paused slightly when mentioning the laser sight, picked up the sight with a scorpion symbol engraved on it from the ground, weighed it in his hand, and then shook his head, indicating to Hai Mingyue to test the gun’s accuracy and recoil first.
Hai Mingyue took the gun, stared at the lamp in the distance for a moment, then shook his head. He got up and went into the kitchen, found two cans of beer in the refrigerator, and placed them on the balcony railing. He then sat down indoors about ten meters away from the balcony, raised his pistol, and began to aim.
"Whoosh! Whoosh!" A very soft sound. The bullet sliced through the barrel. Then, spinning, it hurtled towards the beer bottle. "Missing target..." With a sigh from Hai Mingyue, the bullet had already pierced the balcony and soared into the sky.
Because Hai Mingyue was shooting while seated, the bullets flew upwards, so the houses opposite were not damaged at all. However, Hai Mingyue was very dissatisfied with her score. "Jia, I clearly aimed at him, why didn't I hit him? Is there something wrong with this gun?"
Hearing Hai Mingyue's words, Li Jia smiled and shook her head, then walked over and hugged Hai Mingyue, took the pistol from her, and then installed the laser sight on the barrel. "Try it again!"
Hai Mingyue took a deep breath as he picked up the gun again, then squinted one eye and aimed at the can with the laser sight. The small red dot on the can swayed slightly. "Whoosh!" The bullet missed again, and the two cans of beer remained intact on the balcony.
"Jia! Teach me!" Hai Mingyue looked at Li Feng, who was hugging her slender waist, and couldn't help but say something that sounded like she was being coquettish. Her repeated failures had somewhat dampened her confidence.
"Okay, don't rush, try firing one more shot." After saying that, Li Jia put her head close to Hai Mingyue's ear, then lifted Hai Mingyue's wrist with her arm, firmly supporting it. She then whispered in Hai Mingyue's ear, "Stay calm, don't be impatient. Only by calming down can you maintain your original aim at the moment the hammer strikes and the bullet is fired. Otherwise, if the hand holding the gun shakes even slightly, the bullet's trajectory will deviate, thus losing its accuracy."
Li Jia's masculine scent slowly spread around Hai Mingyue's ear. Although the two had established a romantic relationship, their intimacy was limited to kissing and hugging, without any further progress. It wasn't that there wasn't an opportunity, but rather that they enjoyed the feeling of being together more than physical pleasure. It was somewhat like a Platonic love, but both of them knew very well that if they really wanted to do it, they probably would have done it already; they just didn't have the inclination for the time being.
