Chapter 30 Good Citizen

As the group drove their unlicensed car toward the B City Criminal Police Team in the city center, Li Jia suddenly sensed something was amiss. The arrest seemed to be going too smoothly. However, after looking around, Li Jia couldn't find anything unusual, so she turned around and went back to Starbucks.

"Alright, I've finished my coffee. I'm leaving now. Do you need me to take you home?" Li Jia asked Chen Yi as she approached.

“Okay, I have nothing to do anyway, I’ll go wherever you go!” Chen Yi said, standing up and grabbing Li Jia’s arm. She then said solemnly.

"Follow me if you like, but let's get back to the city first." After saying that, Li Jia walked out of the Starbucks first, and Chen Yi followed closely behind to the car.

Li Jia crouched down and looked at the license plate on the front of the car. Those two guys were really stubborn, determined to mess with Li Jia's license plate. In the car, Chen Yi sat next to Li Jia, constantly observing her and wondering who Li Jia was. Just as she was about to ask a question, Li Jia's phone rang again. After answering the call, Li Jia looked at Chen Yi with a smile and said, "I'm afraid I need to take you home first. A friend needs some help with something."

"No! Unless... unless you answer one question for me!" Chen Yi seized the opportunity to negotiate with Li Jia.

"Okay! Tell me, what's the problem?" Li Jia wasn't bothered by Chen Yi's curiosity; on the contrary, she had a good impression of her—she was straightforward, kind, and of course, had a bit of a spoiled princess attitude.

"What exactly do you do?" Chen Yi asked nervously, staring intently at Li Feng's face, as if trying to glean something from Li Jia's expression.

"That's all? Okay, I own a dry cleaning shop. Here's my business card. Miss Chen, please patronize my shop in the future!" Li Jia said, taking out a beautifully printed business card from her pocket and handing it to Chen Yi.
