Chapter 113 No Healing

Upon hearing Xia Xiang's words, the divine doctor's eyes seemed to show both sorrow and regret, before he flew into a rage.

"I won't treat you! Get out!"

And just like that, the two of them were kicked out...

Xia Xiang sat down directly on the ground, propping her chin up with her hand. "Niannian, what do we do now?"

"So what if you don't want to get treatment? It's no big deal," Rex said, resting his chin on his hand, a little smugly pleased that he wouldn't have to go back so soon.

"What happened to you just now? You changed my name again!"

"Again?" Xia Xiang asked in confusion.

Rex broke out in a cold sweat.

"Looks like my head won't need treatment; it'll heal on its own," Xia Xiang said calmly.

Rex was getting anxious. "Xia Xiang, let me explain."

"I won't listen, I won't listen," Xia Xiang kept shaking her head, refusing to talk to Rex in every way possible, and the two of them continued like this until evening.

"Hey, you two, my master wants you to come in," the young man who had registered earlier called out.

"Here I am," Xia Xiang said, patting the dust off her pants. She turned and walked away, chatting with the young man as she went, completely ignoring the resentful Rex.

"What's your name, handsome young man?" Xia Xiang asked.

"My name is Hua Tuo," the young man said shyly, scratching his head.

Xia Xiang nodded, "Hua Tuo, that's a really good name."

"Thank you, I think so too," Hua Tuo chuckled again.

After the two entered the room, they obediently lowered their heads and listened quietly to the instruction.

"Think again, what's your name?" the voice asked sternly.

"Xia Xiang," Xia Xiang explained, "this is not my brother either. His name is Rex, and he is my classmate."

Xia Xiang regretted it. She had laid the groundwork and implemented her plan, but only after reading minds did she discover that Zuo Ci had contacted the divine doctor.

She was so angry she could have dug a house out of her own feet.

Fortunately, the adults were magnanimous and forgiving; otherwise, they would have been kicked out of the house, or even driven off the mountain.

Rex's toes started gripping the ground tightly, and he was dead!

"I don't care what you know. After I heal him, you all need to get down the mountain," the divine physician said coldly. "You'd better not show your face in front of me."

"Yes," Xia Xiang replied apologetically.

She's too impatient and too cold-hearted. Rex is right; without realizing it, she's become increasingly arrogant.

"Hua Tuo, arrange for her to stay in the room furthest from me," the divine physician said, and then let Rex follow him into the consultation room.

Xia Xiang looked at Rex's worried eyes, nodded to him, and followed Hua Tuo.

“Master, Miss Xia Xiang hasn’t eaten for three days,” Hua Tuo said. “Judging from the light in her room, she hasn’t slept at night either and hasn’t left her room.”

"Add an electricity fee to their bill when they leave," the doctor said with a hint of impatience when he heard that Xia Xiang hadn't eaten, drunk, or slept for three days.

“Master, we don’t have any electrical wiring. We’ve always used candles,” Hua Tuo said. “She probably used her own flashlight.”

The miracle doctor: "Just add it when I tell you to, stop talking nonsense!"

Rex, whose body was covered in needles, heard about Xia Xiang's condition and was extremely worried. He then got up to get up.

"Sit down!" the doctor snapped. "If you don't care about your life, then don't waste my time!"

Xia Xiang, who had been in seclusion for three days, now had frighteningly dark circles under her eyes and was sleeping soundly with a soft pillow in her arms.

The room was filled with densely written papers and piles of books.
